Hi there again,

I've been intriqued by a lot of action / romance animes / manga where the main character starts off on ground zero and works his way either being the most powerful or into a girl's heart.

However I'm looking for the opposite of that, rather than working to gain power or love, I want an anime where the hero already has it. An example would be Kaze no Stigma where the hero was already insanely powerful at the beginning.

PS : I don't mean animes where the hero is powerful when they're first introduced but then start sucking the next episode, I want some sort of consistant power which doesn't fade away.

edit : For the love part, I'm pretty much lookign for a romance where the main character is ALREADY in a relationship and not from second seasons of something D:.... maybe even some when people are forced together [kinda like seto no hayamone [spell check XD]]

The only thing I can really think of off the top of my head is Rosario + Vampire. One of the main chars is insanely powerful from like the first episode or two, and keeps it up all the way into the second season (which is currently airing). Da Capo Second Season could work for the love thing, but if you haven't seen Da Capo you're not going to really get the full impact (or the love) right off the bat... although I think it's pretty clear by about 5-10 eps in.

The fighting scene in last few episodes has suddely improve a lots, don't know why

Darker than Black(this one is my most recommended if you have trouble deciding which one to watch first ). The main character is one of my favourite male characters as well.

Rurouni Kenshin for a long action series, Kenshin is the baddest motherfucker in the known universe from ep 1. Another awesome one is the similar Trigun in which Vash can take anything down. You've probably seen those, though.
