Thread revival no jutsu^^

Ahhh, this brings back memories..my first thread way back when i joined the forums and my first tribute to the new forums^^

Anyway, i want to dedicate this thread to all of you die-hard Air Master fans out there, seeing that the show just got its own revival and should be going strong for some episodes ahead.
What has changed about my opinion of Air Master? Absolutely nothing, it's still the finest street-fighting-comedy anime out there and it's still among my personal top 5 anime of all time^^

You're absolutely right, shame on those that abandoned such a precious jewel among pebbles(i won't point with a finger though^^) and praise be to Super-Anime and their welcome rescue plan :p

Thank you all for showing the :love: for not only super-anime, but AirMaster as well. I love the series for it's unique trends and never though of myself/my group would actually pick up the series since such quality groups such as AJ/HQA on top of it.

You can rest assure that we will try our best to release them as fast as humanly possible and continue to release it with superior quality given we track down all the RAWs :P but im sure that won't be a problem :heh:

We are aware that BT last time was very slow at first since i was the only seed on a 1mb line :( but we've been able to recruit people with the success of this project and now have some xdcc bots in the channel so look into that when you see airmaster 19 in animesuki's listing ;)

If everything goes well, 19 should be out really soon followed by 20!

-for those giving us hell (very few, not alot) and saying to start from 1, why don't YOU start from one. It's that simple. Alot of man (and woman) hours go into producing one single episode. We never aim to steal other groups hard work, you and only you think that. Fansubbing is not about about who releases which episode when and where in likes of competition. It's about anime. Pretty Simple.

Thanks for picking it up! Really, from the start I liked AirMaster even though I usually don't care much for fighting animes. It was a show that dared to be ugly. :)

I never understood why people gave it such a bum rap. I know they seemed turned off by its anti-kawaii-ness, but I thought it was just part of the show's punk-ish humor. It's kinda funny thou how people may complain about animes being cliched on one hand but still reject anything too outside the norm on the other.

Seems this disappeared in the forum accident, so here goes...

No, HQA and N! did not drop Airmaster.
Yes, it's been a while since the last release, but that is mainly because we DO have
lives (and jobs) outside of anime, and those take precendence.

We will continue to release episodes as we get them done, but there is no set
release schedule, and whining about it will not make the episodes appear sooner.
Competent people helping with translations, however, will.

finally. episode 18 came out after waiting centuries! lol. just when i got interested at about episode 13, they went and left the series out in the cold. same thing happend to detective academy Q. im just glad we'll finally be getting the air master we addicts deserve.

did you guys notice the voice on that "video game guy" in episode 18?! he sounds alot like shannon casule from scrapped princess. i could be wrong, but my ears never lie!

I just finished watching the CC version of Air Master ep 18 and i must say that on the whole that this guys translation is better then super anime's. the drawback is that thier arent any translator notes, no translation for the OP or "next episode" segments, and the font is your basic yellow lettering. its also a rather large file size (242 MB i think).

This is good to hear. I was thinking of giving this series a try, but the lack of releases perturbed me from doing so. D/ling ep. 1 now :)

I read that the company that distributed Hand Maid Mai went bankrupt so now the animation studio has had trouble finding another company to distribute it. So the other eps past episode 1 haven't even aired yet.

Alright, for you guys who have seen 19 already, I have to honestly say the ninja's techniques were kinda.... generic is the best word I can think of right now. It was a decent fight and what not... but I was hoping Maki would do something cooler then just try and side-kick the face of each ninja clone until she got the right one. When I first heard her say all she had to do was hit all of em, I was hoping she'd do something like a spinning kick. (I suppose it wouldn't make sense though, given she was so disoriented)

Can't wait for 20 now... 19 ends with a chance of a really crazy fight coming up. In the friggin street... how insane is that fight going to be lol.

Airmaster is definitely great, I'm surprised to see that i like every single character ( even if i just watched 14 eps)...
At first, I thought this concept of 'one fight per ep' would become a bit boring but it's not ^o^ /

I dont't care, Air Master is not the land of the vacuos pretty faces, it's the land of six foot girls who really, really can stomp on a face. I cringe everytime Maki lands a kick, thinking: "Oww, that had to hurt!"

Anybody thinks we will have more than 26 episodes? AFAIK the manga is still running. I hope they don't make up a crappy ending

actually, Air Master ended already at a total count of 27 episodes. Dont worry about the ending though; since Anime Nations John saw the finale and thought that it was one of the best endings he has seen since the ending to the Gunbuster OVA. And i think its safe to say that they will be making more Air Master since it was pretty popular in Japan and the fact that the manga is still ongoing.

anyways, out of the new fansub groups that have just started subbing Air Master, who do you all think is the best. I personally think that cc is the best new one. the translation is the best out of the two other groups, and he leaves all the segements intact (even though he doesnt bother to translate the "next ep" segment). the biggest drawback is that the file size is pretty big.

No, the ninja didnt die I beleive. She used the same technique that she used to knock out the Virtual Fighter guy in ep 18. So he should be ok, though a lame character he may be. The next episode looks like it could be exciting. I cant wait.

I really love Airmaster (and I don't get why the critics trash it so much...yeah Renge is annoying, but the show is side splittingly funny with awesome fight scenes...what more could you ask for?).

Anyway, I'm glad to see other groups are subbing it. I've already gotten eps 18 and 19, but I have a question. What is the title for episode 18? The group I grabbed the sub for hadn't translated it :-(

Well, if *ahem* "poachers" are the only ones doing a series, it will often get a good group to start on it, or catch up on it. I am not blaming anyone here, we all have lives outside of fansubing(at least I hope we do) and hang ups happen, like sounds like they lost their main translator, or he was indisposed. Still, since for a while NO ONE was doing it, I think it's good to have unknown groups do it.

Sure they left some lines untranslated and sometimes the meanings werent exactly right but I commend them for at least trying. In an anime like Air Master, we all watch it for the fights anyway. Anyone else looking forward to the Yuki vs Maki fight?

airmaster lose miserably, the head on the ground crushed by another woman, so she cried and finish in her bed whith another woman ^^
(it's approxamately, but it's this !)
I don't think it was a miserable loss. It'll probably be like when she fought that fake street fighter guy the first time. I think she was just underestimating her. So in the next episode hopefully she'll do some real damage.

I mean think about it at the end of the fight they both wore each other to the end and the winner barely got up.

That lesbian thing was just weird. I think Maki has officially come out.

Did any one catch that look on her face at the end. Was it because she was disgusted with that big breast or with her loss.

anyways i hope sakamoto juilletta wins the tournament he's my faviorite character (i wouldnt even consider watching the anime without him in it) and he's my pick as the winner

believe it or not some ppl in an earlier discussions didn even agree with me that he would make it in the ranking and he ranked fifth now

I wonder how strong that computer guy who does the tornament is. His brother was #6 but between #4 and #6 there is a huge difference in fighting abilities. I'll put maki, the wrestling chick and julieta in the #5 range.

Yep ep 23 was one awesome battle! They just keep topping themselves in this anime. I just saw ep 24, it was really pretty funny, a good break from the intensity of yuki vs maki.

Yuki vs. Maki was really great, it's just sad that the animation wasn't exactly top notch that time...there were other fights with brilliant choreography before, still it was good enough to easily smash most of the other recent street-fighting anime.

I didn't even know that this thread existed. It's good to finally have a spot where I can post some Arimaster topics and such. What this post is all about is thanking superanime for releasing ep 24. I was really hoping that I would be able to finish this series before I move off of my school's nice T3 connection. But anyway, thanks again. It should be really interesting to find out how this series is going to finish.

I never said that Renge is always hilarious she took about 6 episodes to get used to. its just that the tarzan thing and the mystic seal are hilarious to me. after I got adjusted to renge I had to deal with that unholy union of maki and mina. Nothings more repulsive than two genetic freaks of women gettin together. this is one girl on girl i don't want to see. Like Maki has to be at least 6'5" and Mina said she had a 105 cm bust line? thats just not right.

And the "unholy union" you're talkin about is pretty entertaining to me. Aside from Maki and Mina I almost fell outta my chair when Kinjirou kissed his stalker buddy.

It's a shounen fight show with a female transplanted into the lead (they've kept the girlfriend role female, note, but this really isn't a show to attract yuri fans).

It doesn't sound great, and it certainly doesn't seem great at first, but in execution it simply kicks ass.

It's style is so wild and unconventional, and it's fights so exaggerated and bombastic, and the ending song so rocking, you just can't help but love it.

The episode where Maki beats the shit out of every single sentai hero ever made is worth it's weight in gold.

id say its a mock of other anime.

ikkitousen for example, a lead girl who fights. yet she isnt phat. tons of fan service, but mocking the fan service at the same time. its basically the entire fighting genre with a twist. mind ya Maki has a hot bod, she just isnt great lookin in the face.

but ya know since this came out im been a avid air master watcher. 2 more episodes to go.

That episode was priceless. Maki being dressed-up to play one of the "bad guys" in that staged show, and then taking the pretend battle seriously and beating all the "good guys"....that was just too funny.

This series definitely won't be confused with pretty girl fight anime like "Samurai Girl Real Bout High School". Yet characters (like Mina and Sakamoto Juliet) respond to Maki as though she was a beauty queen. I think that contradiction along with many others is what I like most about the series.

Looks like plenty of room for a season 2. They have a ton of characters now, there's a lot they could do.

For instance, whatever happened to the staff guy? He said he was going to come back from india or wherever when he was stronger than Maki-chan, but we haven't seen him since. Did they show him for a second in ep 26? Fighting a tiger or something? It seems like one episode is not enough to bring closure to all the characters. Though this wouldn't be the first anime to have an abrupt and lame ending, I hope air master kicks butt to the very end.

seems like there is going to be a second season from the way that everything is wrapping up. Some stories are still to be finished like the guy who went to india and the guy who faught Lucha in ep 27. (I forgot their names Im bad with names anyway)

I thought that Fukamichi was #1 as well. I don't like this guy just popping up and (I assume) beats everyone up in the top five and then Maki suddenly gets to fight him after she lost her ranking.

Oh well. I look forward to the last ep becuase the fighting should be the best its been in the series so far.

I'm pretty sure there is a manga (??) and I'm curious how it compares to the anime.

There is a manga. I think it goes a lot further than the anime, it ran for years anyway. (maybe it's still running, not sure)

As for all those unfinished story arks or somesuch, i can tell you that the manga is still unfinished and continues after this semi-cliffhanger, which is episode 27.
Even if there won't be a second season, it was still a nice ending to a brilliant show nonetheless, and you don't have to forget that Maki is still a young street fighter, so there's enough room for her and Shinnosuke to gain more strength

I checked and the manga has (at least) 15 volumes. So there's no way the anime covers all of the manga.

Judging from younganimal's homepage, Air Master Vol. 21! will be released in the end of March and there's still no end in sight...at least i didn't find any hints in the description of it.
I guess it's time to save some money for an Air Master manga-shopping blowout^^ *makes mental note*

Trying to make sense of things, so he is part of this nonhuman tribe that lives for a long time, and he has super powers and beats maki real bad and dissapears... But Maki walks away fine?

some of AJ's translations are weird but I have to go with them because they use nice fonts. Darkanime has that horrible orange font, I wonder why they keep using that thing.

Newbies who don't know much about fansubs can get seriously turned off from fansubs or the show by their "quality" translations.

Hello everyone. This is also my first post. I also wanted to say that I love Air Master. It was so cool. I downloaded the entire series at one time off of http://www.boxtorrents.com which I think might have been a bad idea. I watched from 12-27 in one night (when I should've been doing my hw and studying for midterms). But it was soo awesome.

I too wish there was more Sakamoto Jullietta. Man... if Maki doesn't want him... I'LL TAKE HIM! ahahah.. don't mind me :heh: As for Renge.. yeah I thought she was a little annoying when she kept yelling and what not, but she was soo cute, esp. with her little kitten on her head and that magic seal thing. I sorta wanted to fast forward the male on male action too. I think that it's cute that Mina like Maki so much, but Mina annoys me at times too, especially when she gets all needy for Maki. There was one time when Mina distracted Maki while she was fighting and just fell down. oh yeah.. back to Sakamoto Jullieta... oh man.. he's hot and I was just laughing at all those times he and Maki's father kept talking to each other.

I hope they continue the series. It was indeed very good. It didn't have so many random events, as some animes do. At least all the events were usually related to the previous episode or what not. What's the manga called, by chance?

ok, i watched the first three episodes of this series now. mixed feelings VERY mixed.

the opening rocks (music and animation, allthough i am a little scared, that they showed the best parts of those fights) and the fighting scenes, i saw so far were impressing. those fighting scenes and the intro (which promises a lot of stylish fighting stuff) make me really want to watch this anime

now comes the rant, but allthough it is way longer than the few lines, where i wrote what i like about this series, it's about 50/50%. (one half saying: watch this! the other one begging me to stop hurting my brain.)

the character design sucks bad imho. the only interesting character is our red-haired main character. but that titty monster and that little brat: *sigh* über-annoying. just why do they have to torture the viewer with such crap? the other two characters are nothing special, at least they don't annoy too much. but most of the girls are so incredibly crappy drawn, that the only character besides airmaster that doesn't make me want to close my eyes, while watching this anime until some fight scenes start, is that orange-girl. (she doesn't have those terrible old-school eyes like the other three girls.) it's not that i dislike some fanservice, BUT nobody in this series looks hot enough to be "fan service material" and i don't want to get drowned in fanservice of ugly girls. (airmaster does have her moments though. but those are not the ones with pantyshots.)

not only do i dislike 70% of the characters in this show, i also think that they're acting way to out of place. especially some of the dialogues are really creepy. that wrestler: "i carry old women home on my back, even if i come late to my job. and now i will kill you. that's the way i am. don't hate me for being the way i am." WTF? and the jokes/situations they put those characters in are so NOT funny. (that lesbian theme for example. just not funny. that tittymonster has a crush on airmaster. and?)

the story however could get interesting as i see it. why did she stop acrobatics and what led her to streetfighting.

but as i said before, those fights were really nice and the story COULD get interesting. i just want to ask: is it worth the pain? will there be even more of those uber crappyness to endure? when does the main story arc start? or did it allready start, or is there even one?

is there a significant jump, where the series goes off and just kicks ass? how many eps should i watch before i decide to watch this or not?

I agree, although I feel the show already started hitting its stride from ep 4 onwards, and just got better and better from there on. One of the coolest things about the fights in this fighting series is that they actually, you know, fight.

Airmaster's one of my fav series right now, if not ever. Renge and Mina definately take some getting used/resistence to, but once you do... heck, even Maki doesn't look that bad. I think she's actually quite glamourous/supermodel-esque. Although I admit, episode 1 was just a big pile of ugly (but with a good fight scene to bait you in).

I was going to drop the series from my to watch list, but then I got the 14 ep pack, and boy, was I ever glad that I did.

Everyone seems to say the same things though. Even when they started liking Sakiyama Kaori (I started to like her in ep 9, but the Kai arc cemented it. I'm a Sakiyama Kaori convert now).

Luchamaster's actually my fav character, there's a little something for everyone, from Kinjiro to Yuki, but I like Lucha's 'old school' feel and fighting style.

As for the story, I actually like that it's a day to day thing and that, insofar as I'm aware, Maki isn't an angst filled (for no particular reason) genetic experiment by a mega corp trying to resurrect an ancient dark god to bring about the apocalypse and that reality is actually just an illusion.

Oh, I'd also put episode 15 (High Rangers), on par with the Get Backers Hospital ep, it rocked that much.

The dog is named Resue! How cool is that? It's probably just me, but they mention the dog's name as Rescue in the middle of the series. And if you look at the ED, when they band sings the word 'Rescue', that's when the dog comes running out. That's just ultra keen to me.

well, from ep 4 and on it did start to get good...but it REALLY fired up at ep 9 with the Black Suit/Kinjiro arc imo :)

Oh, and i just saw ep 26 of HQA-AonE-N! and... (spoiler for ep 26 and 27)

the girl in white says "Do you remember? Your true nature. Jackie"

I've already seen this ep before....an older version by AJ, and they translated that "Jackie" part as "fighting spirit".

It seems like a wierd thing to say...your true nature is jackie (fighting spirit also...but its a bit less wierd)....then i remembered an early Sakamoto ep where he stares at a painting when he was young....and i thought maybe that's "Jackie" but he says "Jenny" so that theory is out the window.

So, now i'm wondering which group has the wrong sub....but then again, in ep 27...the top guy in the ranking said something like "jackie ka" and the AJ version translated it as "fighting spirit?"
But since the girl in white acted like she knows Maki....and this guy said "Jackie ka" i'm wondering if Maki is the reincarnation of someone they know(called Jackie :p).....maybe it's some kind of cycle....that only "Jackie" can defeat that guy.
And all the previous ones were only defeated by "Jackie"

Or, HQA-AonE-N! translated it the wrong way, and AJ has it right...or they have it wrong too....i'll have to see ep 27 from HQA to confirm

well, i just had this ep 14-26 marathon here, this show is still good fun, an the better subs of HQA-AonE-N! made certain things alot more clear, plus watching it a second time lets you see more detail, and notice things you didnt notice first :)
I also LOVE the stupid dialogue they have from time to time....like the yakiniku stuff :)

Still one of my favorite shows. :)

Yeah, I decided to get the Darkanime version of ep 27, I've been watching HQA from 1-26.

The final fight's pretty good. My fav match up would probably be Kai vs Maki Mask, but this one's pretty good in its way. Leaves me totally wanting a second season, although I can be happy with how it ends as well.

I am sorta curious about the bit you mentioned in the spoiler though.

Gah, way overdue, I need to find the Airmaster OST. Hehehe.

I downloaded some DarkAnime episodes some time ago, but after checking them I decided to wait for HQA & N! & AonE for the high quality version.

So far (1-26) my favorite fight is...Yuki VS Maki I guess. Yuki was cool.

Still has that "Jackie" stuff, The Eternal said "Is it Jackie?" just like i expected....but there doesnt seem to be a destiny between their two souls, becuase he's number 15 in the line....if i read the characters on his head correctly, and the others are ghosts that the girl in white can manipulate, she seems to be eternal too.
So it doesnt seem like its 2 souls battling eachother for eternity.
But why "Jackie" ? did the group mistranslate a term? its still strange that the girl in white acted like she knows Maki too. The Eternal also knew Maki apperantly

Air master is the first anime that I am ever goin to finish and so far it is da bomb... But I am on episode 12, as soon as I fix the audio I can finish the series... man is this series awesome... It KICKS @$$.... YEa ok Im done :heh:

EDIT: Ok I got that thing fixed and I just finished the series... I wasn't sure weather i should post or edit so I edited... Man the ending is great, but i sure hope they get the next volume subbed soon.... assuming there is one... I think that was and earlier post but I don't have the Japanese translator installed yet on my pc... so yea, i couldn't tell. Air master is So far one of the best animes I have ever seen (I have seen others, just not finished the whole series.) I recomend this series to anyone reading this... I have so much love for Air Master, that I had to register an acount just to post in this thread... that and I own the soundtrack and all 21 volumes of the manga...

I remember how much I enjoyed watching the TV series... and how anxious I was before going on a lil' trip to Japan about buying all of the Air Master manga I could find. I had wiped out most of a manga store's collection of Air Master manga save for a couple of duplicates... and when I came back I found out an asian market by my house carries the manga, too ^^;;;;

So I couldn't think the TV series could get any better.. and then I read the manga and find out about so many fights that go unanimated, and even characters left out of the series completely. Rank 2 Fukamichi fighter Jhons Lee, a couple of goons who showed up before Lucha Master, Uraki and Yamakida, and even Maki's teacher were all left out of the series... although they were all very minor characters... still would like to see Jhons Lee vs Byoubou animated ^^

Volume 21 ends before where the show does. Actually, Volumes 18-21 cover a Fukamichi Royal Rumble taking place in that abandoned building. Most of the street fighters come back and there are many fights that take place here... all of which the anime skipped over... such as Shun Yashiki (energy user and Tsukio's cousin) vs Shigeo Komada (former rank 6 and fighter game cosplayer), or Nagato vs the ninja, or Shinnosuke Tokita (he comes back!) and Yosinori Konishio (rank 3, purple haired perfectionist) team up against Byoubou (rank 1 fighter from the last episode), and then Shinnoksuke and Yosinori fight each other! Yeah... the highlight of reading the manga was Shinnosuke coming back from his training, and then taking names... that or Maki beating that scary woman, Yuki Minaguchi! ^^ (that happens to be where Volume 21 ends... never get to see Maki vs Byoubou in the manga...).

When I talk or write about Air Master, I get excited easily, and I tend to lose clearity. Sorry ^^.

Actually I'd settle for a 4 part OVA that explains what happened during episode 27. Seriously, I know what happened during the episode, but so much was skipped over - so many great fights missed - that I feel it deserves to be retold. It look like they were hoping for a second season, but since they didn't get one they smooshed half a season into the last 2 episodes to reach some sort of a conclusion.

I'm afraid that we'll probably never see those OVAs or a season 2. Some shows are just fated to disappear. Hold onto these precious memories of Air Master. Remember you enjoyment of the show. And don't expect to ever see any more of it. If you can stop longing for more, then you can simply enjoy it for what it was. And if a second season ever appears you can be joyously surprised.

*raises hand* Same same! I'm glad that they connected the ending back to the beginning, but couldn't help feeling a bit cheated, as if there was just a huge chunk of story missing what with the complete lack of knowledge about the strangely powerful guy Maki fights with in the end. (Actually it quite reminded me of Berserk, a story that that only starts at the end of the anime. Does that make sense?)

As for the character designs, I liked them. It's weird, but it's the unique, easily recognizable and, in some cases, slightly offputting drawing styles that ultimately become my favorite . . . like One Piece, Tenshi na Konamaiki, or FMA.

Gotta go find the manga. O and the randomness! ::Little Tsukio running down the hill! *meh meh meh meh meh*::

Read the thread if you want to know. People either love Airmaster or hate it. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground.

The action is wonderful and it isn't hentai so it would seem to be a good match for you. On the other hand, some people seem to equate hentai with fanservice and if you are one of them, then it isn't for you since there are upskirts and jiggling breasts.

I personally think Airmaster is well worth the download. Its just one of those animes u watch cause its cool. The moves are dope, and the characters are freakin awsome.

For the record though. I was actually going to stop watching this anime when I saw the very first episode. All because of a little girl named Renge. Most ANNOYING VOICE EVER!!!! I seriously couldnt take it. It was just too much for me. But I got used to her voice eventually. But WOW. I wanted to throw my comp out the window when I heard her voice and her cry for the first time.

HAHAHAHA But seirously it gets really cool. So i'm glad I stuck with it

Am I the only one who thought the ending was bad? Now, I've never been a fan of Maki (I was laughing inside at the look on her face when Minaguchi Yuki was about to slam her face into the asphalt), but it seemed like she had a serious main character complex going on. She didn't have great constitution and someone already commented on that she couldn't take hits well. Additionally, when Kinjirou was defeated Fukamichi said that spirit would take one only so far. Now, what happens when Maki gets slammed through a few concrete walls? She comes back for more of course. I can suspend my disbelief only so much even in series that don't strive for realism.

I was really estatic when the series was FINALLY licensed only to see it's end a short time later. :( It's a gawddamn shame I'll tell you! I can't understand why this series failed. I mean it's not so low on the bar that no one wasn't going to purchase it. I wonder if part of it was because 'Toei' messed up trying to sub it while it was being distributed through 'Geneon'? There has to be more to why it failed. I can't just see the poor sales being the cause. There has to be more to it than that. It seemed like they got out 4 vols. and decided to drop the rest in the trash can. Yet a show like 'Gaogaigar' which had practically a 0% - 1% chance of coming over, let alone get the sales from a selected group of fans that wanted it and it made it over and it's surviving. 'Air Master' died before it got off the ground. It wasn't the greatest thing but it certain wasn't so bad to receive a discontinuation. I wish I could understand this matter a little more. :(

It has nothing to do with geneon the distributor, and everything to do with the awful quality (primarily of the dubtitles).

There is almost no chance of these series to be released in full. To license them out to another company would be the same as admitting failure (that's why there's no official announcement), and they see no profit in continuing operations.

On a more general note, Toei animation has screwed up in the american anime market OVER AND OVER again. Gee, that really is bad. I didn't realized how serious this case was with 'Toei'. :( I guess we'll never seen a better release of 'Air Master'. I guess 'Toei' isn't like 'Geneon' and other companies knowing what to do and how handle their products. And I remember reading the bad reviews for their stuff. It's like they didn't even know how to get the work released here. Damn, I really wanted to own this series. I wanted too so badly. Again it shows you that things get better care in other countries but here, something always goes wrong.

This series is full of crazy / stupid / freaky characters lol.... and the animation, specially of girls, is really ugly =(

The only good point on it is that it makes me laugh of how stupidly ridiculous it can get. The fights were pretty good but sometimes, specially in the last episode, u start wondering if Maki is human at all. The fact that she can jump and do those tricks in the air are believeable to some point but being slammed through concrete?

Best character of all are Renge, Julietta and Kaori xD
