Anime With Kansai Characters

This is going to sound like a weird suggestion request but hear me out.

I'd like to expose my ears to more Kansai ( 関西 ) Japanese. What better ways than to watch anime with characters speaking Kansai-ben?

I know a few ( think they are anyway):

- Sendou Takeshi ( 千堂武士 ) in Hajime no Ippo ( はじめの一歩 )
- Tasuki ( 翼宿 ) in Fushigi Yuugi ( ふしぎ遊戯 )
- Benitora ( 紅虎 ) in Samurai Deeper Kyo

I'm not sure, does Sanosuke ( 左之助 ) in Rurouni Kenshin ( るろうに剣心 ) speak it too? And, even though Misao ( 操 ) is from Kyoto, she doesn't seem to speak it. :confused:

Any more examples? Even better is if one of the main characters speaks it so I can listen to it more often.

I believe Sagara Sanosuke of Samurai X/Kenshin was born in the Kansai district. His sister lives there too.

Actually, in Kenshin (るろうに剣心) I think it wasn't really Sano (佐之助) but that "broom head" (箒頭?)　guy - Chou　(goddamn kanji for this name)? He was the first of the Juppon Gatana (十本刀) that Kenshin (緋村剣心) met...

No no, I tell you what, go watch Chikyuu Shoujo Arjuna (Earth Girl Arjuna) (地球少女アルジュナ), ALL the characters speak Kansai-ben (関西弁). :D

- In St Luminous High, the pianist/psychic girl has a vary strong kansai accent

I'm pretty sure I know others, but I can't seem to think of them right now.

... and thats about all I can think of right now. A lot of these are licensed though ^ ^;; oops.

In Mezzo TV, Kurokawa ( 黒川 )　seems to mention in episode 7 that he is Kansai.

Worthwhile to check it out? He speaks a lot of puns :)

To Heart episode 9 (only) - the episode features Hoshina the class rep, who moved when she was younger.
