She's singing the current to ED to Battle Spirits (it comes on before the Super Hero Time block, that's the only way I know), is a member of sphere (singing the Hatsukoi Limited OP) and was part of the trio for the first OP/second ED of Special A last year. She also occasionally doubles with Chrome Shelled for the Nina version of the Regios ED.
Update! According to MoonPhase, this show has a starting date of 6/25, and it'll take over the spot now occupied by Queen's Blade. Guess this makes it not so much of a late Spring entry as an early Summer one.
I still look forward to it, though.

Thanks for the update! Now I have a date to mark on my calendar. Yeah, I don't really think this is Seiyuu Awards material, but not everything has to be. (Though I kinda hope that Kaorin doesn't only appear in ecchi material.) Hmm, just as long as it isn't Queen's Blade-bad (ughh, that sounded like a new low).
I find it highly unlikely. The only thing it shares with Queen's Blade is the time slot at the moment. Different source, different goal. I don't think the fanservice will go too far beyond the skintight suits.
Judging from the preview (which is available now on torrent) the term "skintight" is rather an understatement as you could still use some of the images for gynecology study :eyespin:

This'll technically be the first new show of the summer season, and it's one I've been looking forward to. Mostly because so little is known.

The only thing it has in common is the time slot. It's adapted from a completely different source, animated by a completely different staff and is by all means its own existence. If time slot was so important, I should be expecting Kanamemo to be like Natsu no Arashi!, since that handover will also be happening.

Outside of the transformation sequences, I don't think there's going to be quite as much fanservice as some people in this thread think. Perhaps a little bit more, but not terribly much.

Yeah, I kinda got the impression from the preview that Plug is a boke and the other one in the glasses is a tsukkomi, so there'll probably be that kinda relationship going on. (And possibly some yuri.) Certainly an "electricity" theme as well.

I'm not saying it's bad. I've got nothing against fan-service. But I saw nothing in the preview that inspired me to watch it. I won't watch a show just for fan-service.
That one wasn't even on my list in the first place. It stands on its own two wing-feet even without the camera angles.
I was thinking of series like the just-finished Queen's Blade, Kanokon, maybe Inukami, DearS and shows in their niche. This one, however, putting aside the skintight suits (you can find the same thing over in Sora Kake, too), from the information I've read and discerned from the first volume, is about bunny girls from a parallel world using electricity to give depressed people a new outlook on life. Electroshock therapy done in a cute way.
Which, now that I think about it, is probably the first time the premise has come up in this thread. Someone should've done that earlier, whether I or someone else am that someone.

And also Getsumen To Heiki Miina. Did you ever see it? Little plot, but funny at least.
Those shows really had very little to recommend them but the fanservice. So I would expect the same from this one.

That animated transformation scene is the most ecchi one I can recall seeing, bar none. Especially in the x264 file that's around. This show seems to want to give us Queen's Blade-level upper body fanservice, with more detailed lower-body fanservice.
Personally, I'm not complaining, just observing. I don't see anything wrong with such fanservice. In itself, it's a plus. Unless it takes away from the actual stories and characters and humor which are what will really make or break the show as a show, as opposed to as a commercial property. As a commercial property, the fanservice is probably a big plus, for better or worse.
People, today we are not in Victorian England, where dragons grew female genitalia, in order to persecute natural instincts :p
IMHO, Eden and all those quasi-hentai-... well whatever, actually, are on the right track to remind that there chastity, abstinence, etc. are unnatural.
That aside, commercialization of sexuality is a completely different story. But, these two things are again utterly different and it's rather annoying reading flames about one drawing arguments in confusion from the other side :frustrated:

This looks interesting. Guess I better get the 1st episode now since it just came out!
You know, if you selectively cut out about 90 seconds of this episode, it would have been perfectly fine. Pretty entertaining even.
However, Plug pisses herself. A lot. And then they cram a magical girl being whipped by a tentacle monster (and pissing herself too) into a TV show that Plug watches.
It's... discomforting.

Oh dear me... Seems like this is going to be one super perverted fanservice series! These aren't always very watchable after like the 2nd episode because it gets off. Well still waiting to finish getting ep. 1 and finding out for myself.
Outside of the bladder control problems and the rape tv show, there's not all -that- much fanservice. T&A shots abound, but it's nothing compared to Queen's Blade or its ilk.
That said, the preview for next episode was basically just one long pan-up of the other Juuden in the shower.

I liked Fukuhara Kaori's voice. Fresh and lively. And the fanservice, while excessive, was entertaining enough. But other things I mention in the spoiler mean that although I'll be back next week to hear Takagaki Ayahi, that's likely to be it.Even the random golden showers were almost okay in their shock value. But the story was primitive, and the reflex violence against the heroine was too much for me. Beating innocent women with a baseball bat is not amusing in the least.
This is fucking terrible. Avoid.

I watched the raw, and though I couldn't tell what was going on or what they said, it doesn't look like the main job of the show was to provide fanservice. It looks like there may actually be a story. But I'm looking for a translator to do this show with my group, but so far no luck. :\

This was a bit better than I thought it would be. The main guy does seem to be kind of a jerk though; it's almost kind of a Punch and Judy routine. Of course in anime the girls often smack the guys around quite a lot.
Its voiced by the same VA as Joey Wheeler silly. His Banchou legacy lives.

My first anime show that I watched for the new season this one. I won't be going back for more. Usually even terrible anime's have a good first episode, but this had nothing. I'm not sure if girls urinating is meant to be a turn or something? But the already bad quality of the show dropped to a new low when they showed a girl urinating not once, but 3 times!

Ep2 wasn't that great, either, but at least there was less baseball bat. And I like the characters. I particularly like the voice-acting. Takagaki Ayahi is really excellent as the second Juuden-chan, Aresta. Noe in true tears, Ein in Phantom, and this -- quite a range. And I liked Fukuhara Kaori's voice modulation in her monologues. Enjoyed Yahagi Sayuri as the strawberry blonde twintail, too.
I have a theory that increased political pressure for censorship somehow encourages anime producers to be even more risque. How to explain to kids Aresta's reaction to the cord rubbing between her legs?

- The fanservice animation while the girls wear the plug suits is really impressive. Possibly the best part of the show. Well, the basic plot concept is pretty interesting and rivals that. Ok, that and the "Illegal Internet Downloading" messages. Maybe just because I'm watching it legally on CR. It'd be even more apropos for the fansub-watchers.

I wasn't aware that CR censored things (Non-watcher of theirs have to forgive me) what with being a webbased broadcaster and all...It's not like they have to conform to regulations or anything rather boggles me why they would do such a thing especially since its the shows only saving grace so far. :heh:
Because looking at the other shows they stream and the teenagers (and those with the minds of teenagers) who watch them, it's better to play it safe.

The highlight of ep3 for me was how great Takagaki Ayahi was doing the voice of Arrestor. I like the two main female characters. That's about all I can say. I'm sorry two good seiyuu like Kaorin and Ayahime have to be involved in stuff like this. But I'll probably keep watching, in hopes things will improve.Repetition of the baseball bat trope has at least accustomed me to it. Arrestor liking the guy that beat her, however, makes me want to vomit. There's anime violence and anime violence. It's only amusing when it's unreal. This is too intense for me. The urine and fanservice don't bother me, however. I'm waiting for more real story.I like the OP. I think both seiyuu can actually sing, and their voices blend pretty well.

Yeah, the OP is beautiful; possibly the best part of the show IMNSVHO. Sorry if the violence really bothers you, though. My parents are the same way; they don't mind sex but hate violence. (But my grandma is the exact opposite...)
And yeah, I do kinda hope that Kaorin and Ayahi get roles in a more...tasteful series someday.

Very ecchi but pretty hilarious too.. Not something I expected but is fun to watch. The pee is done in such a funny gross way that it isn't really that gross or distressing. I can't stop watching it to see what happens next.

I don't know what brought me around to watching this but I have to say that after 2 episodes...I'm glad that I did (in an extremely weird way).
I think part of the reason is all thanks to Sento for being the first character that I know of to beat the living day lights out of a "mahou shoujo" character with a baseball bat :heh:

The service isn't anything that I haven't seen before and I have grown to be immune to it by now but the comedy and from what I can see a growing story, it is rather enjoyable. Even if Iono says that she is Sento's osananajimi and that she loves him...one must think of the age gap between them. What is it? Something like 6 years apart? maybe more? :heh:
Not that there is anything wrong with such a gap but I think she should wait a few more years before confessing to him. Or maybe let him know and say no dodgy stuff until she is a bit more grown up.
And I see now how Sento's baseball batting antics may put some of you off. Using the same gag over and over again has been somewhat of a hit and miss by episode 4 and while some of it has been funny, like Alesta finding out that she is actually a masochist, some have failed to make me laugh purely because of Sento being randomly violent. They need to put a new twist into that or the gag will really run dry.
Anyway another good episode from the series though I liked episode 3 more and crybaby Alesta. There is a reason why she is popular :heh:
Still embarrassed Alesta here was gold, and Plug just had to slow down her transformation scene for Sento XD
Oh and I so expected Sento to say to Iono that he treats her like his sister. Classic cliche but works everytime!

Well it turned out to be another hilarious episode. I really love Alesta's swimsuit (nosebleeds) and the way she is really falling in love with Sento XD
She may doubt herself but if Sento keeps using his baseball bat, he will win her over in no times. Still it was rather extreme for him to drive a car over a cliff to help someone (and someone suicidal at that...wtf is she thinking drifting so far out into sea).
Really didn't expect the manager to be a lolicon so there is another shock. I loved how Alesta recharged her batteries right after she finds out about what happened to her car XD
And for a beach episode I was surprised that Iono didn't get as much screen time as I would have expected. But as expected, the service was top notch "boing-boing".

PLUGGGGGGG! DON'T DIEEEEEEE! ;_____;
...Is what I would like to say but there is no way in hell this series will be killing their main star off just like that, thankyou miss preview for proving me right.
This week round there was a lot less comedy and instead focused a lot more on something else. Yes, a story and it was fricking great!
Plug fought through hell to give happiness to one kid who has fallen down to a category A and any attempts to charge him left the charger girl scarred for life. For some reason, this stubborn kid is so depressed that any attempts to charge him causes the electricity to feed back into the charger girl which is so powerful that it eats right through the suit. It was wonders how Plug managed to hold on until the charging process was complete but that was what made it so touching. She risked her own life to save another who had been abandoned by everyone. Her feelings certainly reached through and the kid was saved and Plug earned a good weeks rest.
Hopefully by next week she will be more or less back to her old self but ouch...was that scene touching to watch. It may take a bit longer since Alesta will be getting the spotlight (and into a maid costume) come next week.
There was also a lot of foreshadowing from the hat wearing loli whose mere presence can cause depression to others.

As sad as it is to see Plug all wrapped up and hospitalised, she was pushing my buttons when she made Alesta to all those embarrassing stuff in a maid outfit (GOOD JOB PLUG!). Maid Alesta was brilliant! Though somewhere down the line I just had to stop and feel a bit sorry for her since tending to Plug's need as a maid wasn't entirely of her own free will. Evil Plug used that video of Alesta to blackmail her into it.
But in the end, Alesta lost it when she found out that Plug leaked the video anyway despite her best efforts = dead Plug.
Not much of a plot this week but it was a very nice chill out episode. But I smell some foreshadowing with Plug since she showed terrible pain when Alesta left and from the preview, I am suspecting that she may have lost her "juuden" abilities. The little girl also shows up again in the hospital which is a sign of bad luck.

There's nothing special about the pain, I supposed the the way the manga put it was easier to understand. Basically both Plug's arm are burned off and had to be amputated. A new pair is growing under those things she's wearing and while the nerves are being reconnected it is extremely painful.

This week Plug gets discharged but it turned out that she forcefully left rehab early because she wants to get back onto her job which left a lot of people wanting her blood for being so stupid. Her hands aren't completely healed yet she is out again...just what is she thinking? Thankfully, Sento can read the mood and treated her with care and a massage which was hilariously misinterpreted by Plug XD
Nothing much happened other than the fact that Alesta is really horny and had delusions of Sento :heh:

This week the two elites from the Juuden HQ were introduced and they turned out to be quite the stiff (and creepy) characters. They were both assigned to follow Alesta and Plug to get information on this Sento guy who was able to see them for some reason. Misunderstandings came and Sento soon found himself baseball batting the two executives into the next world :heh:
IN the end the whole mess was cleared up and alls well that ends well. Sento even gains two new fans to his harem XD
Alesta was simply hilarious this episode once again with her OOC moments and Sento getting a face full of tits (lucky bastard).

But finally, the "evil" little girl makes an official appearance and shows off her powers by totally sapping the "life energies" out of a couple of Yankees. It seems like she is the collective of the left-over negative energies which the Juuden chan remove from depressed humans which somehow makes this girl very powerful. The Roden chan's job is to capture this girl although from their reactions, this is the first time they have ever met the little girl. And despite being elites, they were both taken out by the kid in a quick manner so her powers are definitely something to fear. Sento also gets caught in the mess and the episode ends in a cliffhanger of him unconscious after being attacked.
OH and happy merry evil Christmas.
I didn't expect Milly's screen time this week to be so long but it seems like they really want some kind of spin off with her character. Not so hot on Milly but I do dig her lolita rival very much :3
The rest of the episode was filled with extra service, more so than usual (nipples!) and Alesta's fantasy. I can believe that she wrapped up a new baseball bat to give to Sento but her "normal side" is somehow holding her back :heh:
Sento on the other hand has taken a liking to the MILFS that is the two Roden chans. I really can't blame him as they are both SEXY as hell in a mature sense :D

I agree with the Milly thing, I fast forward past it everytime it came on. Which sadly was almost half the episode it seemed like. As to her I think it's an anime only thing, as is the little girl arc if my memory is correct.

Looks like they are going for an anime original ending for sure. This ep is pretty much where things diverge completely from the manga.

Ah so it seems like Sento has been royally screwed over by the little loli girl who blasted his happiness levels to the near depths of hell. It's gone so bad he is no at ranking B and is unable to see or touch Plug or Alesta. You can imagine the reaction Alesta had when she found out and our poor little masochist queen had quite a breakdown ;__;
The loli (voiced by Aya but rather fittingly for once) turns out to be a brat as expected but it was still nice to see how they still attempted to give her a sad, lonely side, being unseen and unwanted and hunted by packs of roaden chans. Though she sure was brutal to one of her chasers in that alleyway...

ep 12 ~ final (whaaaaa)
First things first, they sure were having fun when they decided to add extra sounds into the OP/ED...a part of me want to face palm at the cheesiness but fortunately, the other part burst out in laughter :heh:
Especially when they were announcing the names super smash bros style XD
As for the episode it was done very well imo. Despite being highly predictable it was still very enjoyable and entertaining to watch with all the usual drama and sad scenes being well contrasted with light hearted humour and whackiness!
And I swear, Milly is a direct parody of sailor moon if you just listen to the theme tune its pretty much 80% the same :rolleyes:
The loli negative girl really started to piss me off when all the time we see her it is her selfish, childish and bratty mood. I really wished that Sento used his infamous bat on her fact but she was let off with a simple bonk on the head after all the damn trouble she caused. Worse yet, she became totally attached to him, OI get off him you little brat! >.>
As for Sento, he had Alesta's breast in his face but he disappointing he couldn't see anything at all. Kenta is turned into "z" mode again by the little bitch and Sento had to save him from drowning. I guess the best part of the episode for me was how everyone combined their plug chargers together to form one gigantic massive one that has enough energy to quick charge Kenta. There was still feedback but that was conveniently absorbed by Sento...
Which is left for another day and another story to tell. There is still the guy behind the screen staring at Plug images to be told so don't go killing this series off just yet. It won't be forgiven :rolleyes:

I think this deserves show of the season. Very enjoyable, very episode kept me wanting more (no, it's not the leaky bladders or the fanservice). The plot and dynamic characters were well developed.

This is a great series when it lasted. Saw the raw manga's and believe me, Sento is more likable in the manga version his not psychotic bat hitter like in the anime. Ahh...Aresta I'll miss you and Plug too. Damn open endings makes me wanna shout. MOAR!!! A Season2 would be great, also no more Magical Millie fanservice. AW! I'll miss that too. :(

Moving to several networks, I have reason to believe that, if solicitations are anything to go by, it will be getting an entirely new opening and ending for the October-December run.
The new opening is "BouNce♥BaCk" by Kaori Fukuhara, the new ending is "TeCh=NoloGy" by Ayahi Takagaki. The weird capitalization is theirs.
All three singles ("CHARGE!/Onegai Sweet heart", "Bounce Back" and "Tech=Nology") will be getting CD releases in November.

I am a bit confused at what to think about this anime. On one side it is yet another brain dead ecchi show with ludicrous story and over the top situations and on the other it has one of the rarest things you will ever encounter in an ecchi show. That thing is called Sento and he is the lead male in the show. He is also my hero <3
You know how it is with these harem / indecisive leads. They are this lame-crybaby-eunuch-incapable of making a simple decision creatures and who are always being whacked on the head or in the crotch by these obnoxious underage girls who love him and this is the only way to show their affection to our clueless detective. It has been done as such since the whole genre was conceived in the mind of some anti-social gynophobic male and it has been copied endlessly ever since by practically all the other similar shows that followed. It is now so overused and stamped into most modern anime that it is dreadfully unappealing, hated and mocked by any demanding viewer/reader.
And then Sento comes along. He carries this baseball bat and every time he is even slightly annoyed by the girls, he immediately clubs them with it and sends them flying. This felt so original that I got gay for a few seconds. Yes people; Sento is one of the very, very few anime males who is not afraid to club lolis just for the heck of it AND I LOVE HIM FOR IT. It was about time for us dudes to fight back and take revenge for all those millions of wimps modern anime are so full of. CLUB THOSE BITCHES, YEAH!
This is played out as a parody of the stereotype of course. Sento is just a character conceived to make fun of exactly that which it why I liked him for being the decisive-direct-bold alpha male that anime are so deprived of (meaning an anti-shounen lead). Other than that, unfortunately there isn’t anything else special about him. Despite his edgy temper and fetish for clubbing, he is otherwise the good-hearted teenager who helps girls with their problems and he simply bitch-clubs them instead of allowing them to crotch-kick him. The joke repeats too much and for too long and eventually even this SO GREAT feature is not enough to make him a great character.
That leads us to the victims of his attacks. Those violent never satisfied, always cranky, impossible to understand alien mutants … called anime girls. These creatures with brains small as peanuts and boobs bigger than my annual tax sum are always there to cause trouble even when they want to help. You know how it is with harems and ecchis; they appear out of nowhere, demand to stay in the lead’s apartment and have a huge problem staying dressed or not pulverizing him every 30 seconds for some impossible to understand reason. Well, not in this show. They have this huge weapon that electrocutes people with millions of volts yet are unable to stand a simple club swing. CLUB THOSE BITCHES, YEAH!
As the territory demands, these girls need a simple excuse to just swarm the lead; the premise of which becomes crazier and crazier as years go by. I mean at first it was just a transfer student to some school meeting chicks but after it became too simple, the girls now pop in his life by dropping from space, being summoned from alternative dimensions, appearing out of soda cans, are found naked in the garbage, are offered as presents in a box, are transformed from animals, are created as slaves, and so on and so on. In this case, the excuse is that the girls are guardian angels dressed in tight latex, with cables popping out of their asses and with mission to electrocute people who are depressed and in need of recharge of positive energy. Plus, they are invisible to most and make rookie mistakes in a position they were given where peoples’ lives are at stake. And if that made any sense, then I am stupid.
Surely, the story is nothing but a stupid excuse as usual to have some chicks doing some unimportant thing before for not much of a reason are found naked, or groped, or in our special case, clubbed hard (YEAH). As far as personalities goes, they are just simplistic archetypes without much of development. The main four are the airhead small-breasted Plug, the megane big-breasted Alester, their main antagonist an annoying loli, and a mahou shoujo heroine on some tv anime who gets violated by tentacles every 30 seconds. And some other bimbos in the background. And that is pretty much all of it. Nothing we haven’t seen before or bother to remember later on.
What DOES make it special and probably the only thing you will remember about them is their inability to hold in their pee. Really, every time they are exited, scared, hit, whatever, THEY PISS THEMSELVES. Even the camera zooms to their legs to make sure we don’t miss it. What kind of a disgusting trope is this? I mean, ok, it is original in a way but that does not automatically make it likable. I’m sure some urine-lovin’ perverts out there will love it but for most of us low-level anti-social gynophobics, peeing your pants is repulsive. And yeah, it is again some parody on the genre but, like the clubbing (YEAH) part, it repeats too much to the point you just see it happening for the sake of happening.
So there you have it; what you will most likely remember from this anime is a guy hitting women dressed in tight spandex, who are then urinating themselves from pain (and later on from pleasure).
I give the makers some credit (and value in the scores) for having the guts to create something a bit out of the ordinary. But on the other hand, I find repulsive how the only experimentation this genre ever gets is gradually more deviant fetishes and bolder erotic humor. No wonder that Youth Ordinance Bill came out to stop them before gangrape by three headed gorillas becomes a must in all broad daylight anime… for little kids.
You know what? It’s not as if I don’t like brain dead works foul of deviance and erotic humor. I have in my collection titles such as Club to Death Angel (yeah, more clubbing) and Puni Puni Poemi. The thing is, those were short OVA works while this anime is a 12 episode tv series. I am sure it would work a lot better as a short feature as well, since its humor and story are quite narrowed in execution and the whole thing wouldn’t need more than 3 episodes to cover up everything. Stretching it to 12 made it tiresome, as the clubbing and the pissing were occurring all the time (and assuming you could tolerate the pissing). Plus, it is a tv series. WHERE IS THE WORLD GOING TO?
Bottom line, I liked the whole “CLUB THOSE BITCHES, YEAH!” element for a few episodes and I was more than willing to accept the urine thing. But the show went on to repeat itself instead of going for something else and thus ended up overstaying its welcome. Not to mention how the story is plain ludicrous and the characters not interesting. Nice twist to a tired formula but nothing much to make it worthy in the longrun.
Oh and if anyone cares about this minor fact after all this wall of text, animation and sound are average with all the quality being given only to nude scenes (as if we didn’t expect that).
