Japan's Shinshokan Publishing has announced that an original video anime project for Kaori Monchi's Seito Kaichō ni Chūkoku (Hey! Class President) manga has been green-lit. More details will be provided in upcoming issues of Shinshokan's Dear+ magazine and homepage. The boys-love animation brand PrimeTime will be in charge of the anime's production.
Digital Manga Publishing's 801 Media announced at Anime Expo 2008 in July that it licensed this "campus school romance" manga for North America. Digital Manga Publishing already released Monchi's Wagamama Kitchen manga.
