Well, here's my little info gathering for the Toradora PSP game.

http://www.psphyper.com/psp/bandai-to-publish-first-toradora-adventure-games/

http://b.bngi-channel.jp/toradora/

It looks like a sim of sorts, and as mentioned in the psphyper article, you might get deja vu from the game, as the guys who're working on this also did a game for Suzumiya Haruhi.

I hope it's more of a visual novel. It will be close to impossible to create something like a dating sim for Toradora!.

Theres actually a small trailer of sorts over here (http://psp.ign.com/dor/articles/943458/tora-dora-portable-commercial/videos/cm_toradora.html).

Actually, that kind of a dating sim WILL happen.

Because one of the description I read in the game's announcement website stated that it will incorporate dating-sim features, in which means - rejoice, shippers. You can now make your favorite pairing a reality in the game.

wistfulloner

A dating sim with 3 girls? Unless they decide to include the side characters, it would lack a lot of replayability. Anyway, Toradora turned into a sim date is seriously disgusting, in my opinion.

Only if Ryuuji can go after Sumire as well..... o.0

Seriously.... I suppose they *could* turn it into a date-sim... but a more interesting game might be rather more just a "choose your adventure" visual novel. You're Ryuuji and all these people around you have problems to solve or issues. Will you make things better or worse (never mind whether you might or might not achieve a girlfriend in the percolating mess).

A simple pyramid choice set of routes would be lousy.... it'd almost have to be a "things continue to happen off-stage if you don't return to attend on them" type of turn-sequenced game.

Master Assassin

As much as how I'm really looking forward to this... Well, I don't want to think too much about it. I'll just wait and see how it's done.

Then after it's done only can I evaluate it.

The Haruhi PSP game was fantastic, if only because, thanks to the supernatural elements present in Haruhi, they were able to create fantastically awesome storyline elements and endings.

I don't see the same thing here...

There is actually a full patch of the Chinese Haruhi game for PSP...well as an fan of visual novels, I really like this type of games myself, story and character development are pretty much why I would play the game.

So I am really look forward to this.

I read a bit of the kanji on there it seems like you can move around the maps but it's still a visual novels type, they've got the same program with Taiga's head that follows your mouse around. Same as the Haruhi one if you know what I am talking about. Under the TORA system tag

Also the only other thing I can make out is that the storyline is around Dec.28th right after the 19th voulme and that Ryuuji's probably lost his memory.

I've played, completed and gotten every ending of the Haruhi PSP game, using a Chinese translation patch.

Must say that the Toradora PSP game seems very similar to the Haruhi PSP game. I'm hoping for a Chinese translation of this and maybe get my hands on the game as well. :)

Eh, do I see Sakura and Sumire as heroines? Interesting.

From what I know of the Haruhi PSP game, it had a really brilliant plotline and route endings... hope this can achieve the same thing.

I also seem to remember an Itsuki route in the Haruhi game... WHY do I see a Kitamura ending here?

Maybe they both take the role of 'God of broken hearts?'

Instead of waiting for translations, people should learn Japanese :p

Reading translations is totally different from reading it in the original language. Alot of the essence is lost in translation, especially Japanese, where the words themselves build up a character's personality.

People say anime characters lack depth and stuff, that's because they didn't hear and understand them in Japanese. 'Watashi, atashi, ore', 'kimi, anata, omae', 'desu, da' etc. etc.

Every tiny difference in a sentence and even the way a sentence is spoken, makes up a character and these details cannot be translated well into English.

One of the top reasons I watch subs. Don't know half enough yet to watch only raws, but I love hearing the subtle differences in the ways characters talk.

On a kinda related note I noticed in translations for light novels it's often hard to tell who's talking... but this problem doesn't really exist in the originals where speaking style usually makes it clear.

To say something on topic, I dunno, maybe that's from an ending a few years in the future? A flash-forward or imagination montage? Or Taiga's smuggling snacks under her dress?

Of course, years of watching anime will get you noticing this ANYWAY...

Looks like some kind of flash-forward, but not that far. Taiga still looks the same... also, if she's pregnant, shouldn't her breasts be bigger...?

I don't mind playing with a dictionary-translator beside me, and one that does kanji. I just wish to know how the dialogue is played out and a rough meaning of the words should do.

It sucks that I got the game but I can't play it because of my old firmware.

Just a very obscure question, if there was a translation patch, could it be done such that it can bypass the firmware?

The story is Ryuuji starting off with amnesia in the interval between Christmas Eve and the next school semester and trying to remember what his old self was like while Taiga's helping him out so of course there's no way for it to end even close to the anime or the books.

Conclusion for the Taiga 100% end seems to be a lot like the conclusion for True Tears.

Thank god, that was the reason I dropped Index.

Mmmmrrrrm, his basic personality's still the same while his feelings and complexes in the novels have been reset, but since he's being put in the same situations as before to jog his memory, he actually is going to act like he used to for the most part. Kind of.

The other people around him, except Haruta, know about his condition, but still :twitch:

I never got around to watching True Tears. :heh: Could you please go into a bit more detail?

True Tears was a terrible example exactly since what happens is kind of typical. Well, minus the last few parts.

There is a Minori 75% ending and a Taiga 75% ending in two different scenarios, where what he remembers is different, to clarify what feelings he has for them. Once those are cleared, a 3rd resolution scenario is unlocked where his memory on what happened on Christmas Eve eventually comes back completely. The Ami endings................are completely separated from the main scenario and I don't think his memory fully returns in them, so they're not required for the resolution segment of the game. :heh:

So, Ryuuji makes a choice -> Ryuuji goes to Taiga (or he can go straight to Minori to get the 100% Minori end if some conditions are met) -> Reports that he's going to go confess to Minori and get dumped by her one more time to tie up any loose ends so he can stand by Taiga's side, though Taiga's telling him to get lost, make his confession suceed, and never come back -> Gets dumped -> Comes back to Taiga's apartment with his stuff so he can live there to prove that he is serious -> Yasuko and Taiga think the idea is stupid so for some reason he's living in Taiga's house and Taiga's living in his house -> Epilogue

Minori 100% has him going straight to Minori to make a normal confession -> Minori's kind of wavering but going on about Taiga this and Taiga that and not really respecting Taiga's own wish about becoming independent -> Taiga shows up riding on a motorcycle with Kitamura during Ryuuji's confession to make the point that she doesn't need Ryuuji and to show her support (which is her just putting up the same front like she had up during the school trip but only Kitamura can see that) -> Minori's guilt is gone since she sees that she's been underestimating Taiga the whole time and accepts Ryuuji's confession + hairpin normally -> Epilogue

Not that interesting if it has to be compared to the anime or the novels (bad endings in the game were handled better than the good ones also), I'll be honest. But there is entertainment value.

Best part of the some 10,000 yen I spent on this personally, was the sidestory that came with the game that the original author wrote which covers two different future bad endings.

1. Kitamura is a shell of his old self and passing his days watching DVDs of news reports on Sumire. He was going to go to the States after graduation, but became the victim of a traffic accident. During the time he was hospitalized, Sumire met another man that she eventually married and by the time Kitamura made it to the US, she was having a vacation with her new stud in London. They never met again, but he has been sued by her agent for stalking.

He's married to Minori, now a disgruntled housewife with several kids and whose dreams of continuing softball have been crushed since softball has been removed from the Olympics and her team has been dissolved due to the bad economy. Taiga disappeared since she transferred out, Ami left school around her 3rd year, and Ryuuji? It looks like Minori became fed up with Ryuuji and his indecisiveness a long time ago and their relationship ended on bitter terms.

She had been hoping to pass on her unfulfilled dreams of baseball/softball to her kids. Alas, her mother, who was looking after her 2 kids, accidently entered them into the soccer team instead of the little league team.

2. Due to a combination of fatigue and a cold, Ami took a bunch of days off and opted not to go the school trip. Since she didn't go to school that much, she started drifting away from her own circle of friends. She didn't know what was going on with the Taiga/Ryuuji/Minori thing either so she couldn't do anything about that either.

Taiga disappeared without a trace after the school trip (because her mother took custody of her and transferred her out) and Ami (who had dropped out of high school in her 2nd year; work has dried up and she has no talents other than modelling, no academic background nor work history either thanks to dropping out early and is now currently looking for a new job out of desparation btw) never saw her again, until an emotional reunion at a beauty parlor, where Taiga was working as a hairstyle model. Since both girls were kind of down on their luck financially, they ended up moving together.

Taiga hasn't seen Ryuuji or Minori since school, but after hearing that Minori (now a popular sportscaster; she couldn't fulfill her dreams and probably got that job through her brother's connections) was getting married to one of the baseball players on her little brother's team, she worked up the courage to meet them at the wedding after party....

...Where both Ami and Taiga caught the eye of a TV producer attending the party who came up with idea of a comedy variety show hosted by the two, under the name of ToraChiwa. The show became an unexpected hit and the two (+ Ryuuji who has become their manager) have finally secured stable income.

That first bad ending is mind-blowing to me, it's almost exactly the scenario I described to a friend a few years back for how I wanted School Rumble to end, minus my suggestion of having the heroine strung out on some illicit drug (Heroin?) and the final frame saying "This is the true canon ending, you have to accept this as the end to the story suckers!" Even then it would've been more satisfying than what we got...

It's interesting that in this scenario Minori gets paired up with him, I always thought they'd work well together... guess not.

A few endings that I have seen so far (only played for 5 hours)
The first ending that I have seen was a "bad" Ami ending , when Ryuuji fell in love with her (The fact that she is according very attractive on first sight and she took advantage of Ryuuji's memorie loss by telling some lies about "their" relation before he lost his memories ). The worst part about this ending was that she tricked you into breaking up with Taiga after Ryuuji lashed out on her when she tried keeping you away from Ami and her lies.

There is also a Sumire ending (she was only a Japan for the holidays for her family, because the game takes place after the christmas party rejection) when she decided to stay in Japan (not too sure if it's permanent or temporary because I probably didn't catch that when playing at 3 AM :p) and Ryuuji joins the student council with her. (I missed a certain plot item to get the better Kanou ending though, so this is probably the normal Kanou ending)

The Yuri ending seems to be a "bad" ending after Inko-chan flew away (a plot event after rejecting Ami twice and thanks to that forgetting about Inko-chan's food or something )and Yuri found her. Somehow Ryuuji ended up with her thanks to Inko O_o' (need to reread that ending, because i rushed it a bit when playing games at night)

Editted the ending info a bit for more detailed discriptions.

One thing that I didn't notice in the anime but that I did notice in the game is that Sakura has huge breasts for her age.

I think that Ami at the beginning of the game is more like the Ami from the beginning of the series. (the "spoiled princess type" who could get anything she wanted by using her looks and her fake personality)
She was not interested in this "Ryuuji" ( if you picked the "wrong" choices then Ryuuji will fall instantly in love with her ), so i think that she was just interested in the "hard-to-get" Ryuuji. Thus she treated Ryuuji as if it was one of her fans, because he was so easy to get.

She is the "regular" Ami after that event though, if you saw through her lies by reading a note written by Ami herself about Taiga (thus showing her not-so good side) that was given to you by Noto. (Thus progressing the story)

Nothing that important, mostly insults meant for Taiga. But that note made Ryuuji remember how Ami was before he lost his memories.

Recovering Ryuuji's memories play a big role in the game storywise, just like when Kitamura dyed his hair again to make Ryuuji remember "that time".

Best ending that probably connects Toradora anime and PSPRyuuji probably impregnated Taiga when they've gone on a lope on the anime version. 9 months later boom PSP game ending. Pregnant Taiga!

The game and the anime are no longer connected after the christmas party. At that point the game follows it's own route, thus even creating this ending (The Taiga 100% was sattisfying , but it's not my favorite ending)

I am not sure (actually even doubt) these endings are real, because I have completed the game for 98.1% and I haven't seen any of these bad endings.

Most of these endings are obtained on the 7th of january and earlier . There are epilogues of endings that are set after this day though after the first day of class. There is no school trip in the game.

This might be a dumb question, but a friend and I are wondering how we can play the game and still understand what's going on without knowing Japanese.

Is there a Translation guide, or a hacked English version?

You will have to learn Japanese for now, because there are no translation patches whatsoever.

Has anyone started on a walkthrough for this game yet?

I have played it off and on and cant get past January 4th or 5th as follows

For the Minori route after the first initial close up contact with her, she no longer appears and have a bad end around the 4th or 5th after Inko "runs away"

Ami - bad end on the 4th with the Inko incident or on the 5th in class no events take place.

Taiga - Bad end also after she gets a phone call at the planetarium (??) and dissapears. There was one where she got mad and ran off after an arguement at the mentioned place above.

When you are talking to one of them up close, is it possible that you have to choose the wrong selection now and then? I have been using the ones where on the right selection you have the pink background appear, blue background, or a mixture of the both.

Im definately stuck and need some help. Only thing I know left to do right now is to open the Wakan program and try to translate it one character at a time when your close up with another character and see what questions/answers you have to pick.

As stated in my post, January 4th are the last days unless the rare occurance of January 5th at the planetarium (star show?)

Other then that, it would help me to tell you if I knew what you was referring to. The first day of contact?

As for the Taiga's part in the planetarium, pick the 2nd choice (forgot which item it was and how to get it, but the other 2 choices will lead you to the yuri/inko ending). After Taiga runs away , don't miss your chance to talk to her (meaning don't walk past her or she will run off , which will also result to the Yuri/Inko ending).

And i think that i will need more info on the other 2 , because almost every path without a premature bad end will atleast lead to 4th of januari.

I have no idea which "first" close up event with Minorin you meant (her events are quite rare, but the first real event (not the close up events for small talk)with her is either on the festival (which will always result into a bad ending or the "alternate ending") or outside school during the evening/night depending (which is on the true Taiga or Minorin route)

BTW the Yuro/Inko, Yasuko and the Haruta and Noto endings are quite common bad ends, so without any details i have no idea on which path you are on with Ami.

First event with Minori was the one right after the cafe on Dec 31st. To of gotten that one, I had chose to stay in the cafe when the selection comes up with Taiga. Must of not gotten the correct selections during the chat with Minori since after the event where you meet her in front of the store, she is absent for the rest of the duration. No events with her at the festival or anything.

The first path I had tried with Ami was during her first chat along the river, you end up having to give her either an idol magazine, map (?), or no item. The no item selection ends up taking you on a ferris wheel (?) ride with her at the amusement park. There you get a second chat with her and those selections gave me the ending with her in class on the 5th, seems like a neutral ending.
Back at the river above, selectiong the idol magazine usually ends on july 4th with Yuro. The map seems to do a little better, believe it ended at Jan 7th where he ends up wither forcing the junior to join the club or becomes the ex presidents personal chef at Nasa.

I still think during the personal chats there is something I am missing. Been aming for the blue and pink "backgrounds" when selection the question/statements from the left side of the screen but I mist not be getting them in the right order I suppose.

You will very likely never see her if you choose to stay in the cafe, because it leads to the story paths without her. There is just one story path that will lead to a Minori ending and that is on the 2nd most difficult route. (the 100% Ami route is the most diffult)
And regardlesss how well you perform on that event at the cafe, it doesn't change anything.(That's why i said "first real" event with her is either outside the school in the evening or in the festival)

That's the bad ending if you trusted Ami's lies.

You are supposed to see through Ami's lies to get past the bad ending. That's an unskippable event to get further in game.
You can get into any story if you get past her.

BTW that's the Kanou ending that you have described. You are lead to that route if you choose to stay and chat with Minori at the cafe at the beginning of the game (which will lead to the Kanou and the incomplete Taiga ending, depending on yur choices on that route)

Some criteria that I can remember:

*pick the first option when you were at the cafe where Minorin was working (which happened at almost at the beginning of the game. You probably picked the 2nd one which eventually results into the Kanou, kitamura or the 95% taiga endings)
* second criteria: at some time find the strawberry milk in your room when cleaning up.
* Hang around with Taiga on new year's eve and give her the milk.
* At new year's eve you will also need to do the "feelings" mini-game correctly by getting the best answers.

After that you will be at the beginning of the route for the 100% Minorin or Taiga endings. (or one of the bad ends if you make a mistake).
I haven't played the game for almost 8 months to remember everything in detail. But if you get stuck somewhere else, then i might be able to help you.

You get it at the end from the Ami 90% ending if picked the right answers at the swimming pool (very hard to get it right). That CD is the only item that stays in your inventory after a new game.

Hey all!

I need a little help with the game. I've been working on the Taiga ending and I've gotten to what I think is the very last step but somehow I've missed an item along the way. On 1/7 after school I go through the steps of talking to everyone but when I reach the point of Taiga and Kitamura near the stairs the middle option is not unlocked... What item is that and how do I get it (It looks like a feather... I think)? The ending with the Santa pants and no item [BAD!] both worked fine.

Another ending I'm having trouble with is Minori... I've gone through the kimodameshi with her and I've seen the endings when Ryuuji gives up on her, the one where she and Taiga start a TV show searching for ghosts, as well as the ending where you open a shop with Noto and Haruta... Can anyone remember what flags had to be set in order to get a good end with her? (slightly related, is there a way to do the kimodameshi with Taiga?)

With regards to the feeling games... I've been taking notes about which results give me Pink/Blue/bad/really bad... How can you tell if you've done the right answers? Like with Taiga at the temple is the best option carrying her home or is it taking a cab with her? Or with Minori at the pool... I've found there is more then one way to get the glass-glue from her... Does it make a difference which way I get the glue or is glue glue?

Minori at the train station on 12/31... Is this the best time to get the picture from her or is getting her to do that weird whole-body "V" better? I've tried both/third option of nothing, and it doesn't appear to affect anything later on in the game... Her appearance later seems to revolve around if I carry Taiga back from the temple or not...

With inko-chan... Do the seeds (and fire cracker) help you at all or should I really just ignore him?

What about all that garbage? Are there rewards for picking up all of one type or is garbage simply garbage regardless of how much you build up?

After talking with Ami on 12/31 I've found the camera and I see where that gets used later... but if, instead of the camera I grab the busted umbrella is there any use to it?

I know it seems like a lot of questions that I should have already found the answers to but this is the first visual novel I've seriously played so it has taken a bit to get used to. At first I kept on racing right towards the bad-end with yuri-sensei Thank you in advance for any help you guys can offer me... This game has been a real blast to play.

That was just an alternative ending. You never had any chance with Minori at that route, every possible choices at that point would have ended in a bad ending or an alternative ending

I am not sure, but the best answers seems to be the ones with a blue and white backgrounds.(there are 2 exceptions though. For the route to the perfect Ami ending and to the perfect Minori route) The pink ones are ok, but not the best. You can get an item, a cg or you will get into certain people's route if do this correctly.
For the choices , well that depends on what route you want to end up, carrying her home is one of the requirements for the true Taiga and Minori routes (both are at the same routes and are almost intertwined).

You mean Taiga's bokken? You would have gotten it at one scene with Taiga if you picked the choices for the best affection. BTW This will lead to the semi best ending for Taiga, not the best one.

After an ending you will hear a short summary from Yuri-sensei and a grade/score for that ending.

Minori at the train station on 12/31... Is this the best time to get the picture from her or is getting her to do that weird whole-body "V" better? I think that you need the picture for a route (forgot which one). Generally it's always better to get an item from a character. At some point you will need it.

With inko-chan... Do the seeds (and fire cracker) help you at all or should I really just ignore him?

Plotwise they are useless.

What about all that garbage? Are there rewards for picking up all of one type or is garbage simply garbage regardless of how much you build up?

Probably for the completion list of having every item. These garbage items are useless.

After talking with Ami on 12/31 I've found the camera and I see where that gets used later... but if, instead of the camera I grab the busted umbrella is there any use to it?

The camera can be used for the true Ami route at some point , the umbrella is useless.

Even though the camera was not the correct item for that choice, at least it has a use if you want the game completed for 100%.

Yes! Ok so that was her Bokken... By any chance do you remember which place it was to get her Bokken? I'm guessing the pool but I haven't tried that route more then once. Even though that isn't the best route... I still have to clear it before I can get the best (100) Taiga end correct?

I think that you need the picture for a route (forgot which one). Generally it's always better to get an item from a character. At some point you will need it.

I've only seen that picture be used to jog Ryuuji's memory always as awkward moments involving Yasuko. Can you think of any other time it may help?

Yeah thats the wiki ive been using, for minori's and taiga's 100 points ending, is necessary to see other endings, this m akes ami the easier in my opinion, since we just have to see her 90 points ending, and just go the same road again and a new option will appear (of course following the answers the wiki tells me) is pretty hard since it seems it only works with those answers -.-'.

Anyway for minorin's and taiga's ending, you first need to see the taiga with kitamura's ending (i dont know if the 2 of them end together, im doing that road now, i finished it but not the 75 points, wich the one needed to see taiga and minorin ending) ,this one is the planetarium route, show the cookie (you get it if you go out of the family restorant with taiga) to taiga, ryuji remembers she likes kitamura, blah blah until the end where they both are talking in the school, talk to them, and to get the 75 points ending, you have to show the taiga's wooden sword, this is one of the ending needed to be able to see 100 points taiga and minorin.
Also you have to see all of the ending possibles with minorin (save each time you gotta choose stuff) when you show her the fireworks in the route where you give piggyback to taiga, is a whole different route, you gotta get the strawberry milk from your room, and show it to taiga, to go to the festival, then, when talking to her, choose these answers:

「行く年来る年のこと」どんな一年だった? "what kind of year do you want to have?" (i think D:, maybe is what kind of year you had)
「大河のこと」入院中は~ cant translate, it just shows the beginning of the sentence -.-
「インコちゃんのこと」カワイイ~ "INCO CHAN IS CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEE" >=333
Just in case, in the 「」 is the subject you can choose from, and next to it what you gotta say. Do this to go into this root (u will get piggyback CG)
Oh and remember to always get the best answers with inco chan! (never get a bad one, save before!) you have to get a sunflower seed in the first conversation you have with him, keep doing the best conversation possible, and after the "raku~ya!" (where they go to pool) do another good conversation with him and he will give you the fireworks (is necessary to get the sunflower seed in the first conversation to get this), needed to see some of the endings with minorin (ryuji remembers he dumped him but he prefer to stay silent about it, because that is what minorin wanted D=). Always try to get the best conversation possible with everyone! (SAVE BEFORE!) because they will give you items needed for the route!

Well i think this is what you need to see before being able to get 100 points taiga and minorin, i just need the 75 points of kitamura T.T, tell me when you do all of this and ill help you with what to do with the 100 points taiga and minorin (i gotta do it first too so i can help better)

I agree the Ami ending feels easier then the other two. It took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do after giving Ami back the DVD at the pool but once I did you know it pretty much puts you on an obvious track of what to do after that...

I think I've seen almost all the endings [except 100% ends] for Taiga and Minori, Finding Taiga's bokken still keeps on escaping me. I see the wiki mentioning day 1/3 and I think by the river but when I go there all I end up with is a porono magazine. <-- When going the Kitamura/sumire route. What do you think I might be doing wrong?

Ok i got the sword :D, this is what you have to do, i know why you though it was in front of the river... google translator uh? xD, haha it really sucks, it actually doesnt have anything to do with a river, i just have 1 year studying japanese -.-, and lucky for us, i was able to understand this part in japanese :P.

First, get to the point where yasuko give you the flashlight, you know.. you go out of taiga's apartment, you will see yasuko there, talk to her and get flashlight, ok after that do this:
-Talk to noto (in school)
-Talk to Haruta
-Talk to kitamura
-Talk to kouta
-Talk to Sakura
HERE you have to go back to taiga's apartmen (funny, in japanese they call it mansion) you will talk, taiga have a injury ryuji helps her and you get to have a talk scene with her, answer this:
「泰子のこと」店には太っ腹な客もくるみたいだな
「北村のこと」いいヤツだし、恩返ししたいんだよ
「見つめる」熱く見つめる
After this she will give you the sword :), and ow you know what to do next xD

Wow, I feel pretty silly now for not figuring that out before... When I went back to her house I realized I had actually been there before but it was before I was taking notes on good/bad answers. Thanks for getting me on the right path! I'm looking forward to the better ends... thus far none of them have felt nearly as great as the Ami 90/100 endings.

I liked the yuri sensei ending xD, ... but yeah, ami's endings are just perfect, darn, ive always been in minori's side, but after watching it, i felt taiga and minorin are just making ryuji's life miserable, and with her is 100% better, anyhow gotta see monorin ENDING! MY SOUL NEEDS IT!!

Ahhh i wish i knew how to extract the audio from games! i just love the music in tora dora portable T-T i wanna get it on my ipod

I bet if you search on Winny you can find the とらドラ! PSP OST.

I just got my first bad-end while working on the true Taiga/Minori ends... Slightly frustrating but it felt so much better then the circles I was going in before. I'm finally seeing where certain objects actually matter.

I'm excited to see where the other good ends go... but honestly thus far the Ami 90% was the best ending.

[edit] I just reached the 100% Taiga end... It was pretty good but I thought their residence relocation was really pointless. Overall though seeing where Taiga and Ryuuji went after school was definitely nicer then how they ended it in the anime.

Already saw all 100 points ending... i was expecting a bit more from minorin but well it wasnt that bad D:, taiga already got her ending in the anime so i just skipped most of it here, and i find it weird she gets pregnant O_o so... young.

In conclusion, best ending in my opinion, is Ami's 100 points ending

Damn i need 1 GC more and some others from some omake rute with sakura but i dont know how to start it, i may need that GC that is not from that omake route, BUT I CANT GET IT! DARN, in the wiki i found out is a GC with taiga and ruyji and it happens on minori's 65 point ending, i just got one freaking GC from that ending, and is the one minorin is out alone watching ryuji's house, but i cant get any CG with taiga T_T im gonna cry

I haven't managed to get the Minori 100 point end yet... as I start down that path I seriously seem to have none of the items needed... Ah well, in a few days I'll be back on a computer that can properly display Japanese and then I'll be GTG. by the way... have you happened up any site that shows all the GC?

Well just doing a quick search I found a guide for the game on amazon.co.jp... とらドラ・ポータブル! ザ・コンプリートガイド (http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/4048678795/harugadaisuki-22/ref=nosim/). So if you really want to see all the graphics you could always buy that book. :)

This is where I am having trouble. Without the DVD exchange I cannot get 100 (Good End), only 90 (the True End). No matter what route I take through the dialog - 5 or 3 long, hit the changing corner last, no matter what it ends with meeting Nana and Kihara. I suspect I'm not hitting a flag previously. The 芸能 question only has 2 items, not 3 like all the others, and the chart at Kampeki-Koryaku suggests it should have 3. So, what am I missing here?

Are you getting the shocked response from her when you point out that you have the DVD of her? If you aren't getting that response, and the ensuing path where she comes over to retrieve the disk from Ryuuji's house you aren't picking the right answer. There is no flag to set before in order to do this.

We never get to discuss that. By the time we talk @5th floor, I only have the horror flick DVD that I found under pillows in Taiga's appartment, but not the "Bakachi" DVD. Apparently I cannot find it somewhere earlier.

You get the Bakachi DVD at the ami 90% end. Then you play through the entire game again going the same route... you will notice that is the only item in your inventory when you start over.

Oh that's a key insight, thanks. It also implies that I can view my inventory, so I read the manual to find out how (hold L) and verified that I had the Bakachi DVD on restart after 90-point end.

Unfortunately, I still cannot close the deal. At first, I let Ami to reclaim the Bakachi DVD on 1/3. That ends with the pink DVD unselectable on 1/7. Very well, I thoght, let's keep it around and not let her know that I have it on 1/3. In that case, I arrive into 1/7 still having the grey Bakachi DVD and yet it's still unselectable.

I thought that it's because it's not "activated", like Minorin's bento. When I find the bento on 1/4, it's grey-colored. Then, I talk to Kitamura before the ghost hunt on the same day and that makes bento colored (it count as a separate item in the game. Then it can be selected alongside the bikini in the same day.

The unselectable DVD on 1/7 is pink, and Bakachi DVD is grey. So something cleary has to be done, but what?

Here's the deal, take the route where Ami comes to take back the bakachi DVD, then on 1/4 don't bother with the bento... don't go directly to Kitamura either [note: I'm talking about right before you go to the kimodameshi]. Go the opposite direction and you will find Ami standing around. At that moment she will give you the pink disc that you so desire. :) Easy huh?

Ah yes, thanks a lot. Weird, I think I tried it before, but something didn't add up. It works now.
Thanks again,

Does anyone know how to choose the right answer at swimming pool, talk to Ami?
I already got Bakachi dvd, but seem I can't make a right answer so I don't see Ami came to Ryuuji house to reclaim the DVD :((
