I heard rumors that Bandai may be planning to release Narutimett Hero for the PS2 in the USA and other European countries. Also I think I saw a few other Naruto game threads in the Naruto forum, you might want to check out those for more info.

A friend of mine got the Naruto game for PS2 and for one the for the Game Cube (even though he doesn't own a game cube... he justs borrows one). He is very under-impressed with the PS2 game.

The game cube version is a very solid fighter. The chakra is a neat twist to traditional fighters. The graphics are great, in some ways better then the anime itself. So, my suggestion is to import the game cube version. Even better, have a friend import it, since it gets kind of costly after having to buy the swap disk and the game itself.

Considering that the manga is the only thing licensed in the US, I find it unlikely we'll be seeing the games localized any time soon. Granted, most of the people I've playing the game cube game with have never seen or heard of Naruto and they enjoy it just fine. I just don't think you'll go out and buy it if you've never heard of Naruto.
