This is going to be difficult, but basically something kawaii / magic / romantic comedy / energetic (fiery). Only in Anime can you get all that in a single series~ Never released in America is preferred. I absolutely cringe at perverse scenes (fanservice), and the fewer scenes like that there are, the better. I put in red the Animes which really tested my patience with it.

Good:
Dennou Coil (I don't need to explain this one)
Lucky Star (Very funny)
Pita Ten (Very funny)
Shakugan no Shana (Fiery)
Hunter X Hunter
Spice and Wolf
(Aforementioned used cleanly, and artistically on a deity character)

Alright:
Amatsuki (Interesting, but sometimes boring)
Karin
Kyouran Kazoku Nikki (Too Crazy)
Night Wizard
To Aru Majutsu No Index (I've never seen so many dramatic cut and gunshot sound scenes in the space of a few minutes before)
Utawarerumono

Absolutely NOT:
Air / Kanon / Clannad
Naruto / Full Metal Alchemist / Bleach (Any common anime)
Twelve Kingdoms (First Anime I saw that was extremely boring)
Nodame Cantebelle

Zero no Tsuikama all three seasons, might be a little heavy on the fanservice side for your tastes, its not tooo excessive, you should give it a shot

Zero No Tsukaima, I forgot to write that down. It's too heavy on the fan-service side.

Princess Tutu is probably a good choice--it was released in North America however. It definitely has cuteness, magic, romance and comedy, and very high energy level, much like Pita Ten. The name makes me cringe, but the storyline is really amazing...the first 5 or 6 episodes were so so, but suddenly they decided to make it good, really good, and by the second season I was astonished by how amazing it was. Characters develop amazingly well, things remain interesting and varied.

Cardcaptor Sakura is downright ancient, liscensed, and the English dub is to be avoided at all costs. That being said, it pretty much hits all the bases eventually--its long--72 episodes and 2 movies (the second that cannot be missed as it gives closure to the story). Again it highly reminds me of Pita Ten.

I've already seen sakura. And that was Karin as in "Chibi Vampire".

Kannagi is something you'd love. Comdey, magic and romance is all included here.

Plot Summary: An art student named Jin Mikuriya carves a statue from a tree, somehow managing to create the spitting image of a local land deity (goddess). He and that person who calls herself "Nagi" work together to destroy some monsters.

That's the basic of it.

How about Wagaya no Oinari-sama? Magic with a little bit of fiery side to it, and from times to times a little bit kawaii. There's some romantic comedy to it, but that's mostly focused on one of the side characters. Fanservice is kept very minimal. I mean, there's some suggestions from time to time, but they keep it really clean for the most part.

Basically, a story of two brothers, Toru and Noboru, who lives together with their father. Because of strong yin in Toru's blood, he starts becoming the target of demons who's after that blood. Because of that, they released the fox deity, Tenko, from his/her seal, who now acts as their guardian along with Ko, the sentinel/priestess of Mizuchi family that Toru and Noboru's mother came from.

Each episode just kind of shows a slice of the kind of life they're now living in, with the occasional demon fight that comes along or conflicts with other deities they stumble across. For the most part, it's pretty light-hearted, and has this sense of refreshing feeling to it with a light plot that probably wasn't meant to be taken too seriously, but still holds itself pretty well.

Kamichama Karin might suit your taste, or A Little Snow Fairy Sugar.

Thanks for suggesting. It's hard to pin what I like at all, it feels random sometimes. Of course anything with animal-mimi in it is a plus (if that wasn't already extremely obvious from the graphics surrounding my posts).
