In general, you are free to post constructive criticisms but not insults which (as in any other part of the forums) won't be tolerated. Remember that writers post here to get help and not to get troubles.

*Ritsu swivels and points at Sawa-sensei: "Great idea, Sawa-chan!"

Ritsu in foreground: "With this, our membership should triple!"
Mugi: "This will be fun!"
Yui: "I can't wait!"
*Mio in background, thinking*

3:
*Mio gives it a think, and images of her singing, in costume, and in several poses float in her mind*

4:
Mio, trembling in corner of room: "No! Anything but that!"
*Mugi is next to her, patting Mio on her head*: "There, there"
Ritsu, back facing in foreground looking at Mio: "Is it *that* embarrassing?"

I was thinking about a short manga like this:

After Mio finished performing a song (as practices) in their club rooms with Risu and Tsumugi. Yui stands up from her chair and clap (image just like Ep 1).
Mio: How was it
Yui: It was so well done, you are awesome, Mio. If you perform outside the club you will get a huge fan base.
Mio: *smile in embarrassment* There's no way it gonna happens. I won't be able to sing in front of other people
Ritsu: Who knows, maybe there is an alternative universe where Mio's performance would be so popular that people would start worship her as a real idol.

They all start to laugh like "There's no way it gonna happens", then an author's note is written next to them say"Yes.... you already are here..." ^^

My name is Akiyama Mio. I am a first year in high school, and a member of the light music club. My friends there are Ritsu, Mugi-chan, and the untalented guitarist Yui. Though, shouldn't we rename ourselves the cake club?
My story begins on the morning of a cloudy day in May. I was walking to school when I heard a scream down an alleyway. My senses went onto alert, and I ran to see what was in the alleyway. Someone could be in trouble!
"Who's there!" I called out. Yet, all I was greeted with was the cold brick wall on the other end. "Maybe I'm just imagining things?" I wondered allowed, when suddenly, I felt a crawling sensation on my back.
"Kyaa!" I screamed, swatting my back. But instead of the spider I expected to find, my hand hit another hand. I spun around, and sure enough, there was Ritsu waving at me with that goofy smile of hers.
Five minutes later, we were back to walking to school, except this time, Ritsu had a large bump on her head. "Mio-chan is mean!" she whined.
"You're noisy," I complained, looking away.
School passed as normal, and then at the ending bell, I headed over to the light music club. Ritsu, Yui, and Mugi were already there waiting for me, as per usual. "You're late, Mio-chan," said Ritsu.
"Huh? It's not even five yet!" I glanced up at the clock, and my eyes bulged. "Six!" I screamed. "But, I left class as soon as the bell rung!"
"A likely story, a likely story," said Ritsu, shaking her head.
"No, it's not like that, I..."
Mugi cut me off. "If Mio needs to lie, Ritsu, then she has a good reason. Come, have some more cake."
"No, it's not like that, I..." I started. But Mugi shot me a glance which told me not to continue past this. Well, maybe I fell asleep in the hallways or something...
I may not have told you yet, but after the light music club activities, I hold a part time job. There is a local maid cafe which needed extra help, and they called my mom about it. Although I am a little embaressed to put on the revealing outfit and the cat ears, at least it pays well.
"Master, how may I help you?" I asked to a plump balding pervert, trying to cover my cleavage lines as much as possible.
"You can help me by coming back home with me," he winked at me. Within twenty seconds he had a red mark on his face and was lying on the floor apologizing.
"Kyaa!" Another scream outside. This time, I was sure it was real. I ran outside, and running down the road was a hooded figure carrying, no, it can't be. Ui!
"Unforgiveable," I murmered. "Moe moe... kyun!" I shouted. A sudden flurry of rainbows and sparkles started flying around me, and I could feel my cat ears changing from attachments to real. And finally, a tiara appeared on my forehead.
That's right. I may be a lefty bassist, but I'm also a magical girl! "Loli napper, I'll never forgive you!" I shouted, and began to run.
The figure is the hood paused for a moment. "Loli napper? I like that name." She pulled off the hood and smiled. She was still wearing sunglasses, so I was unable to tell who she was. But something about her seemed familiar.
"Pleased to meet you," I bowed down. She repeated. "Now, let go of Ui!"
"Ui?" she asked. She glaced down at the girl she was carrying. "Oh, yeah, the bait. Off you go." She let go of Ui and smiled. "I was only seeking you, Mahou Bass!"
I glared. "Unforgiveable," I murmered. "Using lolis as a means to drag me out. I would've come if you just asked!"
She smiled. "Well, let's settle this. Patapatapan!" she screamed. A pain of giant drumsticks appeared in mid-air and started to pound onto the ground. Alarmed, I began to run.
"Baching!" A pair of cymbols appeared and tried to crush me between them.
"This is no good," I said. The percussion just kept on coming, trying to kill me. "I can't get a chance to fire!"
All of a sudden, my ears went into pain. From way above, a senseless chord echoed into the streets. The cymbols shattered, the sticks broke.
"What!" shouted the loli napper.
"Magical Girl, guitar Yui at your side, Mahou Bass!" I glared up at the girl standing on the building. "Now, go destroy the loli napper!"
I stopped. You could've come up with a less revealing name, Yui. Wait, this isn't the time for it! "Yes!" I called out. "Loli napper, your time has come!"
"Bass..." I started as I drew a bass in the air with my fingers, "heart..." I continued, drawing the strings, "Explosion!"
With a burst of pink lights and hearts, a giant beam was sent to the loli napper. She screamed, and then it was over.
I walked over to survey the damage, and there I saw Ritsu with broken sunglasses next to her. "Sorry, Bass-sama," she said. "I just wanted to take Ui out for ice cream."
My face blanked. "RITSU!" I shouted, and whapped her on the head.
Nothing ever went wrong in the city again after that day. The end,

A crossover with Hidamari Sketch seems mandatory. Some ideas off my head:

1) Mugi fantasizing a little too much about YunoXMiyako and SaeXHiro that she had a slip of the tongue.

2) Yui and Miyako bringing the house down when they argue about the mascot for the club.

3) Ui teaches Yuno a few tips on keeping the home clean and tidy.

4) Miyako managing to press everyone's buttons. Yes, that includes Mugi. Oh boy, the ojou outrage which follows....

5) Sae enlists Mio's help for ideas on her next piece at the publisher's. Mio's actions causes Hiro to have the wrong idea...

6) Yoshinoya-sensei + Sawa-chan = Cosplay Alert! Cosplay Alert!

7) Yuno and Mio helping each other to overcome their respective weaknesses (maturity vs. shyness).

ugghh.....man....., i wish i knew that the UN-USED crapped up rubbish that i created, the King Macross ship concept that i dumped in the Macross Fan Fiction Thread for other people to use for their fanfics, was errr....kinda useful someday......

To me, K-On! doesn't really need fanfiction at the moment since right now, I'm discovering no flaws in the characters or story that could stick into anyone's craw. Even with though we can clearly see yuri here, it doesn't seem like it's forced or consistently taunted at the audience.

Though all of this is subject to change. And if there's one story I want to see crossover with K-On!, that'd be Detroit Metal City. XD

Agreed, this anime would do great with a Macross crossover. If one is brave, make that a Macross 7 crossover.

That's a hard one. I'd pick Uhura or Sulu for Mugi-chan. Chekov for Yui maybe...or maybe Scott with Ui as Chekov and Yui's friend as McCoy. The any later K-On member could be whoever is left. Or have Yui be the whoever is left (maybe Uhura) and place the new member as Scott.

They don't fit quite right.

I just looked at the stuff on fanfiction.net and I've gotta say k-on! fan fiction is wierd.

To be fair I really dont think its a story that really lends itself to fanfiction very well but that doesnt make the stories any less odd.

She eyed it darkly, glowering at the the newest addition to her sister's life. It wasn't just a guitar, not to Ui, it was the first step that would take her sister away from her.

"It's not fair..." she muttered, holding the knife in both hands and swaying gently in front of the exposed Les Paul sitting vertically on a stand. "She already spends more time at school now... and she spends time at night practicing with you" she said, seemingly addressing the guitar. "She's spending my time..."

"Big Sis is all mine!" she growled, poking the point of the knife at the guitar. Ui's dark eyes were glazed, and she giggled as she rested her cheek against her left hand. Ui's right hand guided the knife's tip to the strings, and she let it slide down, dragging a ghastly squeal from the metal as the blade slid along them.

"Ui, are you in here," Yui called from the hallway as she came in, "I thought I heard..." She stopped short when she saw Ui, knife in hand, slowly cast her head back and to the side, looking at Yui over her shoulder with icy eyes.

Ui's singsong voice felt sinister in the dim room. "Big sis! You're home." She tapped the edge of the kitchen knife against the head of the guitar. "I bet your ears are burning... we were just talking about you."
