I was wondering if anybody knew any hints or cheats for this game. Like how to get a Posion Grunty or and of the others. I really want to get the other grunty types. I really like this game but don't have money for the other one, and I want get to level 40 at least before I save enough money for Mutaion (I think thats what the second one is called.)

I beat that game too easily, was fun while it lasted, did the secret dungeon too. But I played it when it came out, so I don't remember much. Took me WAY under 14hrs to finish. Don't bother leveling up for the 2nd game (yes, mutation), kinda makes it less fun that way ;)

Well I also beat the game very quickly and I just wanted to know if there are any harder dungens besides the one with the Parisite Drangon in Delta

I don't think their are any harder dungeons in Infection, you'll have to move on to Mutation to find any harder dungeons.

Then again, if you have a gameshark or codebreaker, the possibilities are endless.

You can't get to level 40 in Infection. The level cap is 30.

There are some pretty good guides at GameFAQs on how to breed certain types of Grunties. But basically - follow baby Grunty's demands and you'll get one of the two good types... mess up and you'll get a Noble Grunty.

There isn't a level cap. When I beat infection I was level 33. It takes a long time but there is no cap.

Alot of the rare items in the hack games are useless

i think its in infection where if you keep going back to the sanctuary with the statue of aura, it will play reanactments of the show and get you golden or silver grunties. you can only do it 4 times i think.

And, well, it's not a cap per se, but it's the point at which even the strongest enemies in the game only give you 1 exp per kill. =P I didn't even bother getting to that point.

Just make sure before you go to Mutation to finish Infection's extra dungeon and data drain the boss to get some rare blades you probably can't obtain otherwise. Though of course there will be stronger weapons later...

I loved Hack so much I over did it with game 1. So when i got game 2 it was pretty easy at first ;)

the only thing i don like about infection is the lead character, wish that we can choose our own characters

Think there will ever be a "The World" game? That would be pretty awsome. I think in the show or game somewhere they said that "The World" started in 2008.

there are already games quite like it (see Phantasy Star Online). a game just like it? maybe... maybe not.

anycase i finished infection w/ Kite @ 32, and alot of the hardest stuff was giving 10 exp or something. ah well.

Actually there was already a game like that created back in 2005. It was only around for a year before they closed the servers. It was called .hack//fragment named after the original game Harold created. I really hope they make a new one though.

i hope they bring a new online server out too. it was only released in japan i think. it never actually made it to europe etc.

im half way through outbreak now and i cant even get the g.u. games coz there usa n jap only >.<
