Hello. :] I'm looking for a really good romance/action anime where the main characters don't always get along. Main characters who are kind of opposites in ways. Ex) Inuyasha & Ghost Hunt. The action part isn't necassary. Actually, as long as it has a decent plot and good romance, anything is okay. :D
Thank you.

Well Tsukuyomi Moon Phase is kind of like that. The main characters don't get along too well. Pretty good romance in it. I think it's good, but it's not as popular as some other anime seems to be. You could always give it a try though. :)
Ranma 1/2 is a bit older and by the same creator as Inuyasha. There's less emphasis on action but alot more on comedy. The main characters have a similar love/hate relationship, though unlike Inuyasha, there's little serious opposition to it. If you really enjoy classics, Urusei Yatsura is the first longer work by that creator and has similar themes.
Cardcaptor Sakura runs the full gambit...the main characters start at rivals, eventually become friends, and finally even fall in love. Princess Tutu has a similar route, however, it is even more intriguing than most stories, because the character roles are musical chairs, heroes become villians and love interests change with time...it is a very engaging story after the 6th episode or so. Its unassuming name pains me.
Ginban Kaleidoscope is the poster child for what you are looking for. The female lead is a skater contending for the olympics--normally the type of characters in shojo are hopefully, happy, and loving people...instead she's cynical and bit of a brat--all that time on the ice has frozen her heart. The punchline line is she is possessed by a Canadian Ghost--who is as optimistic as she is pessimistic. Hilitarity ensues.
Nodame Canatible is about two students at a college music school--one aspires to lead an orchestra...one wants to be a kindergraden teacher...one is neat and proper--the other is a slob--one can't stand the other, the other finds love at first sight--very opposite and despite not being a classical musical person myself, I enjoyed the show.
Skip Beat is what a girl who works hard to support a guy she is in love with, into show business...when she is betrayed she demands revenge and the only way she can do that is to become a bigger star then he aspires to. She has alot of fun along the way, and even stumbles into a very unlikely romance...
Kaze no Stigma - Urban/supernatural/fantasy/romance/action - Kazuma and Ayano are always fighting and arguing. He's silent and cool, she's fiery and impulsive.
Eureka Seven - action/mecha/romance - Renton and Eureka are two different persons (if you can call so and so a person.... well, won't get in there to spoil you). Renton's the typical loudmouth and wanna-be-cool kid (but expect fantastic character development here!) and Eureka is silent, clueless and dislikes Renton for some reason.

Peach Girl & Rumbling Hearts are two suggestions I can offer you :)
They both have more romance than action though if you don't mind that ;)
Hana Yori Dango maybe? Although don't fit your description 100% but at least is good :)
Not getting along part somewhat asks for Lovely Complex too but no action...
Well I see some others have already mentioned Ranma 1/2.
Rumiko Takahashi (creator of InuYasha and Ranma 1/2) is well known for producing these types of couples.
However, nobody has mention her best work yet: Maison Ikkoku
It doesn't have the action, or strange occurrences that her other works do, since it is basically set in the real world of 1980s Japan. However, the romance is top quality. Including male and female leads who are friends but don't always get along, and have different personalities. (It's much more subtle than InuYasha though).
You might also want to check out this list (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TakahashiCouple) of similar type couples.
Some notables that stick out:
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (particularly evident in the books, as the anime hasn't quite caught up in the romance department yet).
Full Metal Panic (boy do they fit this pretty well, lots of action and Kaname and Sousuke seem to fight alot- when he's not busy saving her life).
I'll mention Louise and Saito from Zero No Tsukaima since they take this to the extreme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHgv15A14eY).
The ones I'd suggest you check out are:
Ranma 1/2 and Maison Ikkoku (since you like Inuyasha)
I'd also suggest Full Metal Panic as a more modern anime I think you'd like.
