(#-_-)......
What the hell... Did the story just kill off the new 3rd party like that...?
So, basically, they were created and brought in near the end of the story to forcibly kill off Imo-chan and make Akiho depressed? And now that they are done, the story stuffs in a scene where Nerval pops up and freezes them in a few seconds.
Great... Just great.
And in the meantime, Takane, who was released from Nerval's control for some unknown reason that no one seems to plan to explain, decides to help the group.
...It was bad enough that they used Nami as an excuse to do some unknown thing to release Takane, but (as expected), she's affecting the story...
I also want to ask why the ninja guys or whatever they are are still alive, but compared to some of the other things that went on in the episode, this is still minor... I see they are being used as tools to explain stuff.
Other than these parts, it was a decent episode. Everyone is getting saved (rather easily) from the boxes, but now they all want to be NEETs. Akiha is depressed. Honoka kidnaps that guy voiced by Fukuyama, etc. etc...
Preview: Takane... Just disappear... It'd be a different story if you weren't released from the mind control like that so you could come help move the story, but just thinking about it... *shakes head*
Well, the people turning NEET like was an intended effect for people outside the box, while it is easy to pull them out of the boxes. The Nerval Seal makes it so they become mentally withdrawn and unstable due to not having a box (when the nervalized folks were wearing the boxes on their heads, it acts as a mobile life support system, it helps act as a means to keep the nervalized folks sane until they find a box). It can happen naturally, but the Seal and the boxes amplify the process quicker via QT Waves.
Benke's scene was fun. So that it why he needs the glasses girl. The female colony have rely been having it bad the last few episodes. Can't be good for her vanity.
LOL 3rd Party. You guys disappointed me...I have such a high hope on you guys...:
and Akiha did it again....She manage to outplay everyone in the term of "most useless heroine"..She basically did nothing for whole episode...what is the point savhing her in the first place?
and Benkei eventually become more awesome and awesome under the Tsutsuji's guidance and I have to admit that Tsutsuji make Benkei into a better man.
Love that good guys eventually gaining an upper hand every episode.
Not only that, Nerval's newest colony design is wicked and beautiful....He actually froze the entire moon easily...I wonder how Leopard going to fight against him...
and Leopard....he cannot beat Kazane in the chess game..so much for Zero-Bot reincarnation.
Takane finally back but dont you think it is a bit too late? Talk about wasted character.
The most saddest part is that those people who live in the coffin become a drug box addict alike...pity Akiha's friends.

Some interesting points the elders revealed
There are a lot of unnatural deaths inside the boxes.
The red boxes we see in earlier episodes are made from brains cells of those who died in the boxes, or something like that. Bad taste.
There were a female(we only hear her voice from a communication device) conspiring with those guys in the moon just before they were frozen. So it might to be too early to say the third party is completely gone. I doubt they are going to introduce new characters at this moment. So multiple choice question: the voice belongs to (a) Kazane (b) Kaguara (c) Nina (d) None of the above( state your answer).
Tsusuji said something about "my empire". If I take her words literally, my speculation is that Kazane promised the moon colony to her( we do know that Kazane promised something BIG to her).
In the beginning of last weeks episode the third party had sent 1 man with information to the moon people to represent the third party. Rewatch it and it becomes quite clear that the moon people and the third party are 2 separate sides.
It was the moon and its fleet that was frozen then they tried to flex their overconfident muscles. A few missiles last episode and the moon people thought they were so tuff now ehh. The third party only lost 1 man if he didn't leave before the attack.
The third party is called "Uray People's Republic" (according to episode 20 and 21) and they have never called the moon people that.
Well, maybe Uray's not the official name.. But they sure seem to be the "real" enemy?
So Nerval think that NEET actually the best option for world peace?
Well, at least create some simulation world for those box-guy like Second Life world or anything.
and I wonder, who construct the Nerval's Ice Colony? It is like 100x cooler than Leopard.

Essentially when left out of the boxes, the QT link to the brain weakens, creating a withdrawal instability. To maintain some form of mental sanity, they wear a red box over their heads (some of the undead Nervalists do that as well. opening the box may reveal a decayed face of a human being :uhoh:) Wonder if Nami's rival is dead since there was the whole unnatural death thing

The only thing interesting about the episode is how Honoka solves the problem in a simple way, running a bowling pin over that old man's head. Lovely. :p
Shigure should have taken the place of Imo-chan in that explosion. Seriously, why bringing that idiot and that pointless student council back. It's annoying how he's keep hitting on Itsuki.
The preview dialog is quite funny.
It is about Shigure try to ask some old man to give the permission to make Lady Itsuki as his wife....and got rejected become he is poor ( free Level)...

I'm still glad that they did though haha XD
Well this turned out to be another "one of those eps" with a few bit and pieces of interesting development. Honoka is evil I tell ya and it isn't in a good sense. Why kind of crazy bitch would take a bowling pin and whack it on someone's head...especially since he save her from sinking into the bottom of the sea...no gratitude whatsoever >.>
Akiha being depressed was predicted but it still doesn't make her character any better than previous. Where's Nami! I want more screentime for her D:
At least Benkei and Xanthippe were totally awesome :3
Best couple :
Benkei X Tsutsuji
Average Couple:
Nerval X Kagura
Worst Couple :
Akiha X Leopard

It her floating partner who play the role of the her father. A continuation of the exchange in the buss then Shigure tried to seduce her.
Subs out.

is it because akiha is competing against marina from 00 to become the lamest heroine recently and leopard fails at chess miserbly your reasons? :heh:

What's with all of the anti-Akiha sentiment all of a sudden?
What's with all of the anti-Akiha sentiment all of a sudden?
I hope it's not because she's showing a weak side after what happened to Imo-chan, though i'm probably correct. :(

i think she's fine, but i do wish she grow a bit and actually kick some minor butts(since she hasn't done that in awhile)

Another great episode. Seems like leopard will be getting all his parts for his actualization (whatever that is). Lets hope Akiha get her act together.
I am pretty sure thats not the end of the Uray gang but what exactly is their purpose? Conquest? Anyway, what is the political structure like in this series? It seems like they treat Kirkwood like a separate country or something.

either kazane is really good at chess or leopard degraded his chess skill significantly since you know what :heh:
i mean we seen on the 120th match, she still has virtually every piece(and most didn't even move).

Hey at least he won 1 match lol.
Hey at least he won 1 match lol.
No..He didnt.
Kazane won 120 round over 120th round.
and that is 121th round, Leopard lost again...so basically, Kazane won everything.
:D

i'm surprised she has the patience to win it 121 times. i mean don't you get bored of total domination after the 120th round?

Actually i am more surprised at the guy who counted the number of matches lol.
The soylent green part kinds of ask me if Madoko was already a red box. But then again, sunrise loves the occasional karma houdini so who knows. I wonder what happens to disposed boxes? The pale skinned zombied folks?
NEET indeed any answer for world peace.
Nerval try to show this to us ..too bad that Leopardist don't agree with this.

Remember that Neet are a big problem in Japan. with low birth rates and so many people not being productive. Japan doesn't want to have a bigger problem with Illegal imigration as it is right now. that is with Nerval is portrait as the villain because he is trying to create NEET.
Talking about NEETs reminds me of Eden of the East, lol!
Well the main problem is that people die in the boxes for no reason.. I think it was because Xanthippe fired her cannon that time.. If the people aren't "used" that way, it would certainly be a false paradise..

Yeah..it definitely make sense as well.
Or...perhaps , the box just isn't flawless as Nerval thought it will be...I mean, human are complicated...it is hard to satisfy every human in the world...so the decease probably unable to accept Nerval's paradise and commit suicide.
Just like Matrix, people actually wake up from the "paradise" and make the Matrix goes " HuH? How?"

Some become mentally instable and enter an mental breakdown which quickly causes them to suffer a fatal anneurysm, too bad he never took the Clausterphobic into account :D. Its not NEETish rather QT waves causing anyone with the Nerval Seal to go mentally out of whack
I wonder...how Leopard going to kill Xanthippe? I mean, if Xanthippe died, the million of box lives will die as well....
so how?

I hope it's not because she's showing a weak side after what happened to Imo-chan, though i'm probably correct. :(
For me it is more like her lack of character development or involvement in the whole story. It is really the script writers' fault, rather than any particular character.
I mean, you can replace the part Akiha was put in a box with "Akiha caught a cold and stayed in bed for 2 or 3 days", the rest of the story would carry on just fine. That's a really pitiful role for the main heroine to play.
The only thing we got out the subplot is the lose of imo-chan(which really had not much to do with akiha being caught: It could happen when Akiha is doing certain mission). Besides, she is like Akiha's talking and flying Barbie doll. The script writers expect people to sympathize with Akiha. But I found that part painfully boring, especially if you compare it with what's going on with the whole story.
(Edit: the other thing that we learned is the functions of those boxes. First, those are expected. Second, this revelation so trivial even Neneko chan can do it. :) )
The other almost useless plot is Takane being mind controlled. She acts as silent body guard for a few episodes, then miraculously back to the good side again. What does that do? Takane fell ill and stayed in bed for a week. Any big difference in the story?
Both plots started to be quite promising, but in the end, we gets next to nothing out of them.

Can we please not do the nitpicking and "bad writing" thing with this show please? Also why have an Akiha avatar if you think she's such a crappy character?

really! Only thing I can think of is that he doesn't hate the character per say, he hates that she is being wasted by the writers.

Who care about the Akiha...Now it is all about Nerval freezing your house and cooking in the space.

Her character design is CUTE. That's all. Having a cute face and being a well developed character are entirely different.
Sunrise may have done great stories before, but not in this one in my opinion. There are shining points like Neval, Tsusugi, etc, without doubt. But when your main heroine that the show is (partially) named after sits idle for lots of episodes, something is not right.

It is more like I am frustrated by the story telling( and Kaioshin is frustrated by my "nitpicking".:heh: ). They put quite some mysteries in the show. I feel like fish that had got hooked:
What's the whole deal with "Sora Kakeru Shoujo"?
The background story with Kagura?
What Kagura has written in enigma?
etc...
They will be explained in due time. But the ride to get there should be enjoyable, shouldn't it?
Kaioshin is going to call me nitpicking again. But what's with the recent RPG-ish plots: Go get item A, then get item B, then get item C...

Pffft, if you ask the internets then all of their shows are an abomination of mankind and the worst shows ever to grace the modern anime scene thanks to popular memes designating them all as "trainwrecks". Don't know where you mean to place yourself, but I had my expectations set extremely low by the first three episodes and then the show continued to surprise me from that point onward. Can't hate it too much, I mean it did take a premise that generally leads to mediocrity and then surprisingly made it into a fun show.
Though I suppose if one is of the memetic demographic then there is nothing this show could do to make it through it's run and be anything other then a "trainwreck".

So that is how the other shows went. Glad that I never watched Gudam nor Code Geass. I thought their fame should warrant some merits. But guess I am wrong on that.
As for this show itself, I don't forsee any train-wreck yet. Just thought it needs a lots of editing and for some parts rewriting. I think it would be a good show if they had made it into 13-14 episodes instead.

No actually it's not at all how they went, it's how the internet machine went on them, because the internet anime fandom machine (mostly blogs, but sometimes certain forums) seems to always need one popular show to hate on and one popular shows to love in any given season. Don't believe everything you read and don't take everything too literally.
Though if this show is so awful to you I have to again ask, why the Akiha avatar and why continue to watch? Just curious.
Way to go off topic, people!

I know someone quoted that already, but I found that quite funny! The old man is Ul! Omg!
Itsuki x Shigure pairing sounds not bad.. After all, they have one important common point.
