Social Clubs administration and moderation

Hello!

I wanted to know if there is any chance to see the administration/moderation options of the social clubs improving in the near future?

I mean, some things like:

- That the admin of a group can hire some moderators among the club members to help him/her.

- To be able to edit the titles of the threads (I wanted to change the title of a thread in my cuisine club, but it seems that I can't ?_?)

- To be able to delete posts (actually, it seems that an admin can only delete whole threads o.o ? )

Well, as a first step, please keep in mind that AnimeSuki didn't write the forum software. We're running a program called vBulletin (http://www.vbulletin.com). So there may be some options that could be enabled/tweaked/etc. and some minor modifications made if someone were willing to invest the time, but ultimately this isn't really the right place to ask about adding major features. I don't see anything at first glance that would greatly increase the moderation features of Social Groups (either in the current toolset, or in the announced plans for vBulletin 4.0), but perhaps someone will know of something.

So I would say the short preliminary answer would be "doubtful".

Group Creator cannot delete anything but messages. Any thread deletion is simply soft deletion.

Any more suggestion should be put into the Vbulletin. But the software itself is a Proprietary software. Comments and suggestions can be inputted but eventually at the end, if it's of minor importance, the idea will be scrapped >.<

Any thread deletion is simply soft deletion.This is the right way to do it, no reason for you to completly remove threads.

Narona: Show me a social group where you would need aditional moderators? I would suggest the option be disabled even if it existed to avoid spam creating SG and pushing responsibility.

You can edit the thread title if the first post is your own. If some other member created the thread you can ask them to change the title. Seems it's determined by the first post of the thread.

You can delete posts. There's a check box in the top right corner of each post. Check the posts you wish to delete and select delete posts from the drop down menu in the bottom right corner of the page.
