I was looking into watching a brand new anime this summer ive seen a cppl but im looking for a really good one that i havent seen and i was hoping you guys could say some and i would tell you if i seen it already or if i havent

I couldn't name my favorite anime since it's constantly changing, but some of my favorites are Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and Soul Eater. The majority of anime fans like those last three anime, so if you decide to watch one of those you're basically set. How about trying Soul Eater? It's got plenty of action and humor. If you like those anime you listed, you'd probably enjoy Soul Eater as well. :)

I second Soul Eater and Natsume Yuujin-chou.

I'd like to add Kuroshitsuji, a brilliant supernatural/drama/mystery/fantasy show. It's about a demon butler. It's short and compact, easy to get into. It's also quite intelligent; I loved it.

Just remember that if you watch Soul Eater, don't watch the last episode and act like the series ends on the 50th episode. You can imagine the ending, because anything you imagine in your head is better than the actual ending.

Anyway yea, some of my favs are atleast Soul Eater, K-On, Death Note, School Rumble, Minami-Ke, Genshiken, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ichigo Mashimaro and Ghost Hound. Ghost Hunt too was pretty good.

And lol, how could I forget Shakugan no Shana. That's definitely one of my favourites, although only the first season. The second season was mostly epic failure so I'll act as if I never saw it.

People do have different tastes. I find School Days to be a rather well-developed series, in which we can clearly see what some of the more run-of-the-mill harem leads might turn out to be, if the overt sexual tension was actually seized upon. Your mileage may vary, tho.

Staying on topic, my favorite series is probably still Cowboy Bebop, even though I'm still watching Eureka 7 and it's getting there... then the original Macross comes around again. :D
