Good evening, all. I've written a Seirei no Moribito story, which I hope some of you will take a look at and comment on. I'll link to it as it's too long to post here. It's quite a long story, in fact - but like the series that inspired it, I spent a lot of time exploring the characters and how they interact. There's action and combat and death and all, but a lot of character drama surrounding it.

If you've seen the series or read the first book, you have all the background you need. There are massive spoilers here if you haven't (and shame on you if that's the case, BTW!) though, so be warned.

Lastly, let me just say that I know this is a long story, but I really poured myself into it and I hope you'll give it a chance and let me know what you think. I haven't written anything of consequence in years, but that's how inspired I was by this amazing series and novel.

Thanks,
Dan

Very good work. The plot was very realistic and makes it seem like it could really happen. The characters all stayed in character and they sounded like they came straight from the anime. The ending was perfect on how it showed the relationship between Chagum and Balsa and how it shows that Chagum will never change his feelings for Balsa. Great story! :D

Thanks a lot - I appreciate the feedback. "Characters stayed in character" is always a good thing for a writer to hear...
