I think I might have forgot, but did they ever say anything about Lulu-bot being Nerval's son before...?
...Pretty much just a set-up episode. At least compared to the previous episodes, the story wasn't as tragically done. Then again, that is because it was setting up and not much really happened.
And lots of Nami! And a bit of Nami acting like an idiot! Made the episode worthwhile...
Akiha's older sister... Always (talking like she's) looking down on others, huh... (#-_-)
Iyah~, the story can't be complete unless Nami kills her. Good luck, Nami~!
I really hope Tsutsuji stays dead this time... Even though it feels like she's gonna pop up later alive again, like when she was seemingly hurled into space.
Now then... The story forcibly introduces some evil Lulu-bot and causes destruction. Akiha and co. are going to work together with Nerval to defeat the enemy and they all become friends? Surely not... right?

It's Leopard second (true :confused:) personality ("The Prince of Darkness"). Everything was happening in Leopard "head". It's (partially) caused by the fact that Leopard is at 100% completion, looks like Fon didn't dismantled Leopard for fun 50 years ago.
I think I might have forgot, but did they ever say anything about Lulu-bot being Nerval's son before...?
Episode 7, when Nerval leave, and a second reference later in the series don't remember where exactly.

When you compare Kazane to Nerval it's hard to see Nerval as the bad guy :heh:
Darklord? Son? This is getting rather interesting.... kind of reminds me of Star Wars.
Oh, it just came to me, but I don't think Nerval is a bad guy. He never really gave off that impression at all. He's just ... I dunno, misguided? Actually more like he's still trying to learn and understand things.

Well, a person can be misguided. But when a ruling power is misguided, these (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Stalin) are (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler) what you get.
I am pretty sure

sounds worse than

Since this is anime, I understand they don't want to paint a black or white character(Well, I just realized Akiha is actually a black and white character:uhoh:). But I keep rolling my eyes when they execute that.

She is actually the only rational and pragmatic person in the whole show. Though she could do more persuading rather than using force.
Some summary would be nice.
What happen to Tsutsuji and Benkei?

Nerval is not really misguided, he is putting people into boxes to prevent a repeat of the earth disaster. Everything he is doing is for the greater good of ALL the human.
Some summary would be nice.

Everything from memory, and my japanese is lacking so.
Xanthipe say to Akiha that Imoko is alive and under Nerval care, Akiha want to go "save" her but Kazane with her legendary composure order Akiha to shut up, that when she is needed they will fetch her and lock her up somewhere, Itsuki try to defend Akiha and she also receive the order to shut up and do her job.
Leopard two personality are fighting for the control of the body.
Imoko is at enigma with Nerval and Nami. Nerval is cooking some cookies, the one Akiha and Imoko where speaking about some episode ago. Imoko say that the cookies are good but they will be better if Akiha was with her, Nerval don't understand, Nami say that's bullshit.
Itsuki wants to free Akiha and she is helped by Honoka and the library ghost. Buumin are guarding Akiha, the ghost go first, buumin kick his ass. Itsuki is next she is able to scare Buumin with a flashlight. Akiha, Itsuki and Honoka go to Starsylph/R, but Kazane was there waiting for them.
Nerval contact Benkei, Benkei is happy about that and wants to go back to Nerval side :heh: Tsutsuji start speaking and say clearly what she think about Nerval and where he could put is little plan :heh: The Benkei colony jump to where Leopard is with hostile intention, before being able to do a single thing Benkei is defeated, Tsutsuji is hurt.
Juts before Benkei jump Leopard bad personality has taken full control and the people inside the colony have to go to shelter because of Leopard action. Leopard has shut the door of his room and has stop listening to everyone. Fon is not pleased about what the elder/Kazane have done (playing around with Leopard without really knowing what they were doing). Leopard jump to Kirkwood and start by destroying the mirror/solar panel of the colony. Nerval appear end of episode.
I kind like the "dark" Leopardo.
Nooo, My big hero have gone nuts. Who am I going to cheer on now.
This still doesn't mean that Nerval have become a good guy just because he is under attack by someone now just as crazy. That won't happen until he free the people that he have brainwashed in the boxes.
So, there is only 2 episode left....I wonder how Sunrise going to wrapped the whole things...
I think it won't have a good or decent epilogue for this series...probably everything will be so rushed.

Not as rushed as it seems like Eden of The East could potentially be. Any specific reason why you don't think it will have a good finale though?

Yeah, but I've never been terribly worried about the plot of this show to begin with. It has that old timey game feel of an excuse to get awesome stuff happening on screen.

So now we know why Leopard was dismantled 50 years ago. Being "complete and fully functional" makes him has illusions of grandeur. And his swords being "cursed" doesn't help any.

Jun FUKUYAMA is the voice actor of Lelouch and Leopard. It's the reason why one of the nickname of Leopard is Lulupard or Lulubot ;) (Lulu is how Shirley call Lelouch in Code Geass).
Jun FUKUYAMA is also the voice actor of Maximilian in Valkyria Chronicle. Maximilian is a prince of the empire and is very good at strategy like a certain someone :heh:

Nerval is the bad guy, he acts like a gentlemen but he still wants to put people inside boxes.
Kazane was like that since the beginning of the series.
For Leopard we still need to wait to see if it's really its true personality or only some repressed emotion who have come back a little to strong :heh:

I don't believe why Akiha has been arrested & imprisoned? I don't understand! I mean This show is all about to STOP Nerval once and for all!
Next Episode:- That bastard Nami! Is this really the end of akiha? I'm eager to find out all because of being paranoid about Sunrise shows since HiME.

I'm don't surprise that Leopard being Nerval's son because Nerval supposed to be the first brain colony created....and it is quite logical if Leopard and the rest colony were modeled over him. So, it quite make sense for Leopard being his son if you put it at this way.
So, what is Leopard's colony name called? Any idea?
and again, Blizzard Cathedral > any colonies in term of coolness.

Nerval has called Leopard his son for the first time in episode 7 but it looks like nobody has taken notice of that ;)
Nerval is the first brain colony and Leopard is the last one. Possible that most of the brain colony are brother/sister whereas Leopard has been based on Nerval making him his son :heh:

Yes...consideringLeopard's huge egocentric view and weakness at naming it's possiblily just Leopard Colony.

I don't know because I haven't seen the episode yet, but I do admit that I'm having a hard time cheering for Akiha lately as she's mostly been getting herself into situations where Itsuki and Honoka have to rescue her. I do still cheer for Itsuki and Honoka though.

So indeed it has gotten difficult to tell the "good guys" from the "bad guys" in this story, but I have little doubt that that's deliberate. This is another one of those stories where it looks like nobody is truly good or bad, but it the circumstances and actions they find themselves in that define them to the viewers.
Anyway as we are right smack in the middle of an upheaval of what to make of the events (again something I have little doubt is deliberate) it's kind of hard to comment on it all right now. That's why I'm going to hold off and see where this all goes with episode 25 and possibly 26 as well. Unlike certain people here I like to wait until I know I can make an informed and reasoned inference about this show.
I will say though that I'm glad Sora Kake hasn't lost it's quirky sense of humour even in the late stages of the show.

Even if Leopard is modelled after Nerval, it is weird to call Leopard his son. Unless Nerval himself made leopard, then he can be considered his son.
Why is it weird? The term son can be used loosely.
Even if somebody created Leopard, it is probably based on Nerval since he was the first colony ever created. So that would make him Leopard's "father".
