...this paper was wrapped(on only the side that has my work) with a transparent sticking plastic sheet? Is there the probability that it will burn anything?
I actually don't have a scanner so that's why I haven't tried it myself. It would be a major factor to get a scanner if I could indeed scan my work with the plastic sheets.
The works that are wrapped with the plastic sheet were done like 5 years ago but at that time I didn't even think of showing my work over the net. So in the best interests of protecting the work, that was the option I chose.

I doubt plastic will burn because of scanning. People do scan shijitaki, don't they. Besides, why would plastic burn when scanning? @.@

Ive stuck everything from swiss cheese to bionicles in my scanner. It wont hurt your work

oh and gummi snacks, wheat from the road, pennies, glow in the dark plastic dears, dandicakes the fuzzy plastic horse, a plastic chicken with feathers, my sisters face, a caution sign, boton rice candy packages, yeah

your plastic is safe, the scanner isnt actually hot.

Yes you can scan it with the plastic sheets of course, it might be completely invisible if the plastic sheets are thin and great quality. (if not, there would be some 'reflections' sometimes)
Buy a scanner and show us ^o^

WOW! Thanks for all your replies. I will certainly soon buy a scanner. Any suggestions for a scanner by the way?
