are there any animes out there as awesome as S-cry-ed or close? I've seen lots of action animes but none of them were awesome as S-cry-ed.

anyone got any suggestions?

Similarities? Well how about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure? Y'know how s-CRY-ed has "Alter" for a power, like the ability to deconstruct, reshape, and crystalize matter at a molecular level using only thought and willpower. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is similar with "Alter" powers' by having manifestations of some personal energy that give the user extraordinary abilities and manifest as a variety of objects, and each individual has a different power that they draw upon their abilities to bestow upon them - We call this the "Stands".

I'll recommend JoJo's Bizarre Adventure strongly, along with Hokuto no Ken.

Well, closest in terms of story would be E's Otherwise, although it's not as good as Scryed. Again, it's a story about people with superpowers in an urban setting.

Getbackers is also pretty similar since there is a place, similar to the Lost Ground, where people with superpowers live outside the law. The action in this one is actually pretty good.

There's also Darker than Black, which had a great concept with a somewhat weak ending, but there is a second season.

Scryed is one of my favorite shows and I have also been looking for stuff similar to it, and it's hard to find something as good. From the ones that I mentioned, Getbackers is probably the best.

It would also help if you tell me which aspect of Scryed you liked: the action, the setting, the characters, the story? Then it would probably be easier to find similar shows.
