Sports Anime

Can someone recommend me any additional sport animes. I'm following Prince of Tennis and saw part of hajime no ippo before it was liscened, I really like these two anime. I have seen Slam Dunk, but find it was kind of repetitive... Any other anime out there I should check out, liscene and unlicensed fansub (preferred)?

hmm.. that would be interesting.. a bowling anime. I'd like to see a golf anime. Golf is pretty popular in Japan and I'm surprised there isnt one yet.

but realy i'd suggest Touch or H2. Adachi made some other sport
series but i can't remember them

I would HIGHLY recommend Slam Dunk if you like sports. It's a great serie about basketball(and love).

Try a few episods and see what you think :)

If you're willing to stretch your definition of sport to include Go, then Hikaru no Go should be at the top of your list.

If you want to see a golf anime, then try Dan Doh! Theres 26 eps and they have it on youtube.

Major (baseball) - Theres two seasons out and the third season is coming out this Dec.

Major is pretty much a baseball version of Prince of Tennis - for better or for worse.

My favorite sports anime is Initial D - though it's really geared toward racing fans. But the comedy is fairly good.

You should watch air gear even tho its a sport but not the type ur thinking of.

noones really recommended Suzuka here, so that's a good one. Its a bit more romance than sports, but its got track and high-jumping mixed in there, if you want a unique sport.

I also second air gear, even though its skating just give it a shot ^_~

You could try watching Princess Nine. The anime is a little old but if you like sports anime then give this a try :)

For H2.... There aren't any downloads for that... You can watch the first episode on YouTube but there's nothing else from what I have found..

For a pretty entertaining soccer anime try "Whistle!."
