Sadly I'd bet Duff and Riful would make a team against the feeders (after all we saw them team up against 12 AB and Duff got a few kills...), since the feeders are a new batch with no combat experience. Now if Duff was separated form Riful and moved suddenly... or attacked them on his own... he's dinner. :D

None of it sounds overly surprising, and their's a pretty good chance it's probably true. It DOES sound like it's rushing a little.....but then again, not really. This battle(Riful and Dauf vs Alicia/Beth and the Abyss Feeders) has been coming a pretty long time now, it probably only feels that way because it's finally happening. Too be honest, I'm surprised the battle hasn't already happened.

Riful feeling that Raciella is stronger then Isley confirms that she's a Super-Abyssal(no surprise there) and their is no silly "half dead" situation going on. The question is, what happens and where does she go?

Sadly I'd bet Duff and Riful would make a team against the feeders (after all we saw them team up against 12 AB and Duff got a few kills...), since the feeders are a new batch with no combat experience. Now if Duff was separated form Riful and moved suddenly... or attacked them on his own... he's dinner.

Afraid not my friend. Though I have no doubt on my mind that those two are the BEST to fight the Abyssal Feeders as they have emphasis on close combat over Isley's long-range combat, we don't know yet if they carry the experience from Isley, but I'm saying 50/50.

Each time they're bred, they carry the experience from last time, so their really is no reason to assume this new batch does not carry the battle experience. Dauf will probably be able to squash a few, but they should be able to slice his armor like butter.

In other words, If the battle does not commence this chapter, Dauf will definitely die next chapter(FINALLY! :heh:). Riful will probably finish off the rest and/or enough that they will scatter, and then she'll probably commence her battle with Alicia.

I'd also like to point out that this spoiler has the, "to be continued next issue" sort of thing at the end, which only increases the chances it's probably true.

I think the real question that needs to be asked here is: Will they fight?

Their really is no reason for them NOT to fight. They have the element of surprise, a chance that they carry the experience of fighting Isley, and will only help Alicia squash these two.

However, Rimuto said it clear as day: They are only guides for Alicia. If that's what he says, we have no reason to question it. Control is what they care about above all else, including power. If Staff says they won't fight, they won't fight. Stupid, but that's what they say.

We did see her reporting back to a MiB last chapter. So, if she split from them she must be confident she knows where they are... odd since they emit no yoki.

Because if we go by the map that came with last chapter, she's all the way back if Staff for whatever ridiculous reason :eyebrow::uhoh::twitch:

The map though seems shaky; Helen has both her eyes....meh, I think the map shouldn't be trusted, as much as I want it to be.

At any rate, when we saw Alicia report to the MiB last chapter, she probably was in a Western town. After all, their were two of them around the area looking for Renee. Silly to think they're all the way back in Staff.

On another note, Riful is fully awakened now. Their's a good chance Alicia will be able to sense her even if she can't feel the Ae's.

Yes, they're extremely overpowered, but it's not like they are invincible.

I suppose. Getting chopped up, being eaten....I don't know, it all seems the same to me. In a world where the line between humans and monsters get blurier and blurrier, the AE's are the "truest" monsters we've ever seen. They're mindless beasts without a brain or empathy; their inclusion fits pretty well in my opinion.

but still Rufil is stronger than Isley .. and we all know that .. so maybe if they use the AF they only rise the chance 4 them 2 live just a little bit ..

and power level isnt everything .. fighting style can do miracles like Clair as an example ..

well .. its not actually mentioned but its kind of obvious coz in the anime i dont remember which episode but Rufil said 2 clair if u want 2 take ur revenge join me .. or something like that ..

i will check the episode and see if its true ..

but i think this means that Rufil is kind of stronger that Isley (but not that stronger .. i think the difference in power isnt that much ) ..

We know that she is strong because she has the title of Abyssal One but she has yet to do something amazing to deserve that title. From what we have seen so far, we can conclude that Isley is the strongest AO.

It's true that she's always hid her true power and we've never seen her fight at her full potential, but I somehow doubt she's stronger then Isley, if only a feeling.

Switch to Riful and Dauf who are now engaged in an orgy with AEs and having fun. Alicia and Beth are desperate to get in on the action.

Priscilla and Raki have their own action going, and so do the conjoined siblings who have recently experienced a big-A that was said to feel like a big-O.

But.........Isley DID beat Luciella. I think we conclude he's stronger. Riful is then either or stronger, and I don't have the feeling she's weaker.

You can argue that he attacked the south because of searching for Priscilla's parents but I don't think he's THAT kind. If anything, he didn't attack Riful because she was the stronger of the two.

Like I said, their really isn't much difference....but I do think the order is Luciella<Riful<Isley.

I think that even Priscilla knows where is West and where is South and if she found out Isley was taking her in the wrong direction...

Well, maybe it's just my bias against Isley speaking, but again, he attacked Luciella because it was tactically better. Priscilla more of a just an added benefit, but I doubt he had her wishes in mind during his assault.

Umm, Dweller? How does saying "I was so close" NOT indicate that he was winning, not to mention yes, SHE was the one who ran.

XD, It's like you said, the differences are minute. But I think we can assume Isley was stronger, the battle results show that.

Sides' he wasn't TOO bad. He was banged up, but his body for the most part look A-okay. It's not like he lost any limbs like against Priscilla or the AE's.

All three reasons are probably right. It was part of his plan after all, to show Riful that he was invincible as long as he had Priscilla. It wasn't worth going after Luciella.

I doubt he planned that Luciella would end up the way she has, but it's mute; Their was no way for her to beat Isley even if she was at full strength again, the battle showed it. Even if Luciella didn't meet Rafaela, the battle showed one thing: Isley was the victor and the South was his.

Luciella didn't see Priscilla, she's never seen her in her life.

Her tails were her most prominent part of her body, the same as Isley's arms(particularly in spear form) are for him.

He looks banged up but no where near as weak and vulnerable as we saw he could be fighting Priscilla and the AE's, and in those situations, situations fighting opponents immensely stronger then him, he STILL fought the good fight. That guy fought till he lost all four of his horse legs with depleted yoki from each consecutive battle. He fought so hard because it was a battle till the death. Do you get that impression looking back at his battle with Luciella with this awareness? Tell me something, after fighting so hard against the AE's and losing every part of his body, did he transform back into a human like Luciella despite being so weak?

How IS it that he's able to lose his entire body more or less and still remain in awakened form despite having little yoki left after so many battles, battles which force him to hide in town in his human form to heal...and yet, he gets only a little banged up and you assume that he transformed back due to depleted yoki like Luciella did when Riful showed up?

(Isley wasn't in such a state at all, we KNOW THAT because he can fight in his awakened form, DIE in his awakened form despite having no yoki at all to even defend himself from AE's. If this isn't proof that he has more yoki and he's stronger then her, I don't know what is.)

A broken and chipped spear is alot better then a arm that doesn't even exist as the AE"s showed...and he STILL continued to fight. He didn't even use his ultimate sword. Weaponless? Even if you strangely discount his spear which is clearly still useable, AND his sword which he hasn't used at all, why do you assume he can't use any of his other weapons still? Why do you assume that he somehow still can't fight just because he lost his shield and chipped his spear? Exhaustion? You call losing his shield exhaustion? The man lost THREE LEGS, AN ARM, and he STILL continued to fight the AE"S! Why? because it was a battle to the death! A battle that ended with him dying in his AWAKENED FORM!! He had no strength to defend himself at all, yet he somehow still had enough yoki to remain and DIE in his awakened form and not change back like Luciella, he had THAT much power! It was truly a battle to the death, do you honestly get that impression in his fight against Luciella, a question I already asked?

Frankly, who cares if Luciella was scared or not! As ridiculous as the notion sounds as an excuse for leaving over her transforming back, I don't blame her. She didn't misjudge his strength, she saw it for what it was, a league beyond her own, even as a fellow Abyssal One.

MisterJB, you're missing the point. This isn't about proving whether or not Luciella was scared, this was about who is stronger, Isley or Luciella? I think everything I explained and the battle results speak for itself. Even if she did ran away because she was scared, and not in the middle of transforming back into a human, it doesn't change the fact she had lost the battle and would have died whereas Isley could have continued fighting in his awakened form.

Well strategically, in the short term, Isley did win the fight.

a) He survived, without long-term damage
b) He had Priscilla to protect him when Riful showed up (or at least bluff that she would)
c) Luciella fled the south all though not dead (to his knowledge), thus leaving Isley with the chance to try to manipulate her into his puppet. Since he'd had just given her everything she had wanted.

In a death-match rematch I'd bet on Isley. Only because Luciella had to cheat with her tails to gain the upper hand with Isley when they fought in human form. Who knows how much damage (power loss) Isley took before he realized this... which could have effected the outcome, a bit.

Now, we all know Isley failed to capitalize on his victory by not gaining control of Priscilla since he choose to be a "family "man"". If he had capitalized on manipulating Priscilla to obey him then he could have attacked Riful or the Org, finished them off a with a team attack (so neither would get too injured). Then heal up and finish the other off.

I'd be willing to bet Isley thought Luciella was still alive and either in the north or more likely now with Riful. Since he likely saw (or sensed) Riful head in the direction that Luciela went, and he knew Riful was the type to fight smartly. If he believe she was with Riful he'd be to cautious to make a move, since he have doubts about walking out of that tag team fight uninjured and then he'd be worried and the org finishing him off.

As too battle Damage... I don't Know... Since I can't tell if Luciella lost two tails or if there still there... Look. If Luciella lost two tails she clearly lost if not it's a bit more debatable.

We don't know how long the fight lasted between Isley and Luciella, but the impression we got was it was a very long fight - despite not much detail is shown. Isley fighting AFs however, was a short fight in comparison. As for whether he was exhausted, just go read through the whole argument I had with Gangsta on that.

He HAD to be there. Priscilla showing up was a HUGE gamble. Was their any moment when we heard Isley ever talk to her and ask her to help save him at a specific moment? No, she was looking out the window and got scared. No way Isley would tempt fate even further by going after Luciella and hoping against hope that she would actually follow him whereever he went.

Your analysis of their fights make sense, but unfortunately, due to the fact we don't seem much of the fight between the two, it's why I continously stress that Isley is stronger. I didn't see the same amount of effort from his fights against the AE's, as I did against his fight against Luciella. We know from his battles against the former, that he will fight to his last legs, but all we saw was him banged up in the Luciella fight. Part of it was because, again, we dont' actually see the fight, only a few pages, but I didn't look like Isley fought as hard, nor does it look like he's as exhausted or weakened by her as he was by the AE's overtime. Sides', he even said that the AE's damage to him was worse because they were biting at him over time, over a single monstrous attack by one opponent like Priscilla, who's immensely stronger then Luciella. What you say makes sense.......but I think if any of them tried to regenerate, they would have stopped the other from doing so, especially when we saw with Isley trying to regenerate in the middle of the AE fight, it takes quite a while, which makes considering the size of these guys.

No, I don't believe either of them regenerated, the other would attack first before they'd let that happen. Isley simply caused more damage to Luciella then vice-versa, since we as saw, he had all his limbs despite being banged up. Luciella obviously left her tails behind.

There is a difference between sustaining injury and using up all youki. Isley may not have sustained grave injuries at Luciella's hands, but because they fought a much longer fight, he used up most of his youki just like Luciella did.

Endurance only comes into play between two equal opponents. Isley against Priscilla is not a fight of endurance simply because he knows Priscilla is far more powerful and it is pointless to fight on.

Anyways, do you not agree that Isley is only slightly stronger then Luciella? If so, when Luciella is completely exhausted, Isley shouldn't be that much better off. If he still have plenty of youki left, then he is not merely slightly stronger then Luciella and he ought to have killed her.

In chapter 89, the impossible dream, Isley said at first he wanted to bring Priscilla under his control. So, your wrong...

Isley did it to manipulate the regressed mind of Priscilla. In short he believed she wanted to go south, so he found a way to make it happen where he would look like the one who did it for her. In return she would likely come to depend on him and then she could be more easily manipulated by him later, thus giving Isley more power. Once he got it, he didn't capitalize on it. In short Priscilla and Raki weakened his warriors spirit and turned him into something like Teresa was after she found Clare...

In chapter 89, the impossible dream, Isley said at first he wanted to bring Priscilla under his control. So, your wrong...

Isley did it to manipulate the regressed mind of Priscilla. In short he believed she wanted to go south, so he found a way to make it happen where he would look like the one who did it for her. In return she would likely come to depend on him and then she could be more easily manipulated by him later, thus giving Isley more power. Once he got it, he didn't capitalize on it. In short Priscilla and Raki weakened his warriors spirit and turned him into something like Teresa was after she found Clare...

Yes, he grew a heart overtime, but the key words are overtime. It wasn't until the end of the seven years that Isley gave up fighting and only wanted a family, which is why he died with regrets. At the time of the battle however, he could care less for Priscilla, she was a dumb girl who fell for his lies,which is what they were at the time.

Maybe he really did try to look for her parents after the war, but not before, he's not THAT nice.

from the above 2 fact can we say that Luciella is stronger then Isley?

then they move to 35lbs and do 25 set each

they move to the 40lbs weight, Easily can still easily do 25 set.
Luciella on the other hand is struggling with it and barely ableto pull of 15 set.

Isley won the contest. Easily can still only left 40lbs and Luciella can still left 50lbs as b4.

Since Isley won the contest, Is he stronger then Lucila now in term of strenght even though he can only left 40lbs max while Lucila can left 50lbs?

U see in that fight, Isley won the fight and Luciela retreat but winning that fight dont make him stronger then Luciela. Predicting that Rifus will show up, he cant afford to waste much more energy playing chase with Luciela.

looking at things from both isley and Luciela point of view. in a Kill or be Kill world like claymore, isley have a trumpcard that Lucy dont. Easily knowing that even if he is to go all out and be left at the point of near death where any 3rd rate AB can easily kill him, he still have Prissy to fall back on. Prissy is not a 100% backup card but it still give him a chance. Lucy on the other hand, im sure during her rule fo teh south she bound to make some enemies. to be a good fighter/warrior si to know when to stop. Lucy at teh point when she retreat, she probably realized that if she continue on farther, even if she wins, shell be left so weak that her other enemies can easily finish her off thus force her to retreat while she can still somewhat defend against weaker enemies. to survive adn fight another day IMO is much better then to fight til ur dead.

Just keep in mind that even though Isley was the victor in that fight, it does not make him the stronger of the two cause if winning make teh victor the stonger of teh 2, then Prisy is stronger then Teressa since shes the victor of the 2 in their fight.

Isley is the strongest AO; the differences are minor, but the battle against Luciella and other supporting evidence has shown enough evidence for me to believe this, this is my opinion. I've already accepted the possibility that I might be wrong everytime somebody has posted against me, from Vinak to Sagara, but my opinion has yet to change. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've seen no overwhelming conclusive proof of so. Is it because their is none? or because I'm a rockheaded stubborn idiot? Who knows, could be either. I'm tired of arguing about this, so I'm gonna go downstairs now and have some macaroni and cheese.

First up, Vinak brings up an interesting point. I say Isley did win the fight because Luciella left, that just the rules of Fighting. But that does not mean that Isley took less damage, or was closer to losing than Luciella, or that he is the stronger Awakened Being. Why did Luciella run away? Saotome Secret Technique? Or was she just a survivalist, not willing to gamble her life away that Isley would run out first? What Vinak says is true. Isley did have an unfair advantage over Luciella, and that being Priscilla. That means he can continue fighting when he is low on Yoki, knowing that Priscilla is not going to let him get killed, while Luciella has nobody to protect her if she runs out of Yoki, and thus had to flee. When it comes down to it, I don't think we know who the strongest AO was or who the weakest one was. We may never know in fact.

Anytime. Don't think it's such a huge deal, honestly. The one I'd really like a reaction from is Galatea-sama.

The was a bit of theorizing going on about the nature of Yoki as related to AB, Yoma and Claymore, a bit too much to get into here. But I do have a request, if you don't mind, I found this line from Clare very interesting, and am wondering if it is translated correctly: "The Demons are very Indifferent! Whether you are rich or poor, whether you have a social status or not, Whether you are a godly person or a non-godly person, even age and gender, none of that matters to them. As long as they are filled with sin, everyone is the same." (One Manga, Ch 5, pg 32) Is the part in bold correct? You can choose to interpret literally or not, but the literal interpretation was interesting to me.

The standard for Isley's win here is even below Isley's. His aim was to preemptively eliminate the threat of a Riful/Luciela alliance by first killing Luciela, not to determine who could score the most points after certain rounds or who taps out. That she ran and that he wasn't up to capacity to pursue her means that he failed. And that failure to achieve his primary objective was his loss.

However, I do find it interesting that he told Riful that she was too late and that no one can stop Priss now, as if he knew that Luciela had fallen. I've been very curious about what informed him about Luciela's fate that he made such a statement, because he didn't get to kill Luciela as he let her flee.

Hmm, now that I consider all this, I guess I can now better accept Isley's defeat at the mouths of Abyssal Feeders. He was very poor in follow through. His being unable to dispatch all of the AEs that he battled in the past is pretty consistent with how he let Luciela get away.

On top of that Raphaela haden't released any energy in ages and Luciela had no energy left either... so sensing them would be difficult at best even under ordeal conditions.

To be fair Raphaela did release her energy... but we don't know if that was before or after Riful meet Isley. Either way it effects what was said quite a bit.

I'm going with my previous statement that Isley didn't know her fate and he likely assumed the worst, that she teamed up with Riful. That is why he never made a move with Priscilla because he knew that even if he beat Riful and Luciella, with Priscilla help, then the Organization would move in to pick him off in his weakened state.

;) Well for one, you going on the presumption that Yoki sensing requires a lot of Yoki. Like Yoki, Claymore seems to use another eastern concept: The Mind's Eye. Now debating what the mind's eye is could get a bit complex, and we haven't been given an example. But it is either a move that requires Yoki, or it is more a psionic ability which doesn't require yoki. As for Isley having yoki, there is a big difference between maintaining such a large awakened form, and doing things in your human form. Other beings are irrelevant and the single digit awakened being could sense Clare from a distance. As for Rafaela and Luicilla, you are forgetting what happened. Rafaela tried to kill and save her sister at the same time. What was the process of saving her sister again? Putting her own life force into her? Something that would show up on radar?

It's because... let's suposse that chapter 90 come out in 27 of January.
However, 90 was not January's chapter. 89, that had appeared in the last days of December, was January's chapter.

So, 90 was the February's chapter so, the next chapter will come out next month, March. However, since we got the chapter in January, that mistake is usual to happen and people think there will be no Claymore next month.

The word "Apostle" means follower/leader/ etc and was specifically used for any of the early followers of Jesus who carried the Christian message into the world. The word itself seemed heavy with religion.

Not sure exactly why Clare was called a Rabit. Ritful being noodle and Luciella being Cat is due to their AB form. Racilla however is being called something like Scent Spray, but that is derived from the Chinese name of Rafaela and Luciella.

Basically people made WoW characters with Claymore names.

First scene with human female is Rosemary, second the elf is Irene, 3rd and 4th are duel between Rosemary and Irene ending with Rosemary won with 40% life left. Next 4 scenes are Rosemary against Rafaela with Rosemary won with 30% life.

After that Rosemary meets Isley(Nick Name Northern Horse is used as character name), here they did some photo shop work to replace Isley's character with a centaur model and Rosemary's character with Hydra model to indicate their AB forms.

Then finally Rosemary meets Teresa(Nick Name Teresa the Goddess is used as character name) and gets defeated with Teresa untouched. After that is Rosemary getting revived and get stronger and stronger AB forms and still lose to Teresa with her untouched.

What amazes me the most is the fact it seems that Riful and Dauf beat the Abyssal Feeders and Dauf is STILL alive!! I figured they
would finish him off. Guess they stopped looking for Renee, both of them, when I predicted Dauf would still look for her while Riful goes back for Raciella.

Cyclone, I should have asked. Do we see this girl in human form? or just awakened form?

Raciella is in awakened form - looks very much like an awakened version of the twin goddess statue actually

Riful's arm was eaten without her even knowing what had eaten it. However, her skills are allowying her to kill them very fast. I guess they are not used to her yet.

I'll post the summary of the RAW:


Chapter starts with Raki talking to Priscilla, don't know what they are talking about, but Priscilla has a faraway look, my guess is she is describing what she feels coming from Raciella.

Raciella's awakening completely destroys the castle they were in. The shockwave suprises Yuma and Cynthia. Dauf and Riful feel it too, and Riful looks rather happy.

Deneve and Helen are rushing towards the scene, and Cynthia senses them realizes where they are headed, she and Yuma both release their Yoki to get their attention. Helen and Deneve notice and start heading towards them.

Clare emerges (very naked) from Raciella's awakening body, and the body also releases her sword (almost as if presenting it to Clare).

As the spoiler pick shows, the awakened Raciella looks like the twin-goddess statue.

The awakened form of Raciella that Deneve can see it in the distance (about the size of awakened Riful I think) Cynthia heals Helen's eye and Yuma's leg, but is exhausted and collapses afterwards. Helen and Deneve rush off to (presumably) go help Clare.

Riful and Dauf are sitting on a ridge (Dauf in his awakened form and Riful on hi shoulder in her human form) and observing Raciella.

Dauf looks down and realizes his hand has been torn off, and a couple of Abyssal Eaters are feasting on it. Riful's left arm is taken in a similar manner.

Riful immediatly head-shots the two that took her arm, but Dauf soon realizes they are completely surrounded and are being swarmed by them. Riful kills several in quick succession (all head-shots) but two dodge and one decides to take a bit out of Riful's head.

Dauf is pissed and immedietly smashes the one that bit part of Riful's head off, but it manages to avoid getting its head smashed, and it quickly begins regenerating, much do Dauf's surprise, but before it can heal fully Riful's ribbons tear into its head and kill it.

Riful seems to be amused (and by the creepy look in her eyes, somewhat pissed) that they tried to take her head out, even though she is apparently fine with half head head missing.

But before the immense ribbon-induced rampage can begin, Alica and Beth drop in front of Riful, and seem ready to rumble.

End of chapter.




Pretty exciting chapter overall, things are really heating up, and it looks like the Abyssal Eaters are as quick as ever, even shocking Riful with their speed, but the Loli can handle them, it remains to see how she will handle another Abyssal level opponent, I do think Dauf might be pretty screwed without Riful's help against those Abyssal Eaters though, unless he listens to Riful's advice and goes for the heads.

Raciella's awakened form looks great, they do resemble Alica's awakened form somewhat, but I'm interested in seeing how they function, and it seems to be somewhat considerate of Clare (whether it is aware or not remains to be seen)

They eat Dauf arm because he was holding Rifuls dress from last month that was what they where after other that that they left him alone, and Riful didn't seem to be all that bothered that she's lost her arm and had half her head crewed off:P

WHY THE FUDGE DID RIFUL CHANGE BACK TO HUMAN FORM?!

No, it looks like the remaining AE's are still sticking around, somehow. Either they haven't killed enough(which is what it looks like), or they're programmed for all or nothing now.

So now the battle begins. Dauf will probably die next chapter and so will the remaining AE"s. Yep, as I thought with Raciella's size, Riful's castle is kaput.

Surprising, I thought Raciella would be a giant human like Priscilla's form.

Oh, and Helen and Deneve have warp speed and can sense cloaked yoki, because they somehow found Cynthia and Yuma 0_0

Yes, that's what it looks like. I counted, and their's less then half. No point, since they've shown their no match for her. Even with Isley's battle experience, they aren't adapted to her and Riful unsurprisingly has no problem finishing them with Dauf. Those two are the best to kill them after all.

No, the real problem is gonna be from Alicia and Beth. Alicia....MAN, she looks scary at that last page!!

And Riful looks really pretty in the top pic of page 25 with her hair like that :p

Yuma and Cynthia released their Yoki, thus the reason Helen and Deneve could find them.

Riful probably turned back into her human form because she was no longer chasing the escapee (no more use for her) and she was conserving energy.

Should be a pretty epic battle next chapter with Alicia + Beth, and the Abyssal Eaters vs Riful + Dauf.

Wonder what the newly born Raciella is going to do. :heh:
