Very good episode. I lost count at the about of adorable scenes. They just kept appearing one after enough.

It's good that they've kept in future plot points, i mean you could see it as them planning to do another season in the future, or just wanna laugh at the people who aren't reading the manga. Still, some nice surprises were brought up, and i'm glad about that.

Don't worry Sakuya, you can call me oniichan~

Best episode this season.

Possibly because it showcased why Ayumu is second to only Izumi when it comes to Hayate no Gotoku's females. And the cityscape in this ep is much better than the one in the Hinamatsuri arc.

The only disappointment I have with this ep is that I wish Sakuya said "Hayate-oniichan" in a less embarrassed way, as in, said in a typical anime imouto-san style.

Also, interesting filler to end it on... especially since it had no shots of Risa's chapter. Hm.

This episode felt so much like a last episode, but it seems there is still one more episode left... And anime-original?

The episode was good. Didn't care so much for Hayate's search for the forgotten heroine, but Ayumu and Hinagiku's conversation... was good... I guess. Kind of didn't like the insertion of comedy here and there during it though. I wonder if Hinagiku spent more time in this episode in her deformed mode...

Well, she tells... and they decide to compete to see who wins...
Fmm... The usual boring and expected love-comedy development, but I guess it can't be helped (in various meanings).

Anyways,
What does it mean at the end, where Aika-san said that "there are lots of things that money can't buy" during 21:51
She was holding that God's Punishment pendant thingy?

what i would guess from that is like love, not having sh!tty parents like hayate, or bad luck like hayate

Frankly speaking I was expecting more of the yellow-haired girl's appearance... it is unfortunate that her show time is exactly the same as in the preview. The other interesting thing in this episode is when Hina is frustrated that she likes Hayate.

This season had really made me grown attached to the funny faces and sounds (the geee-kuuu responses). Made me remember the priest rewatching the scene of Isumi and keep repeating them.

meh, just another regurgitated shōjo episode of the "The Hina and Hamster Show" almost saved by the thumb gag and "People who... should be reincarnated as the cardboard rolls you get in toilet paper."

No, next episode isn't anime original. It's chapter 147.

I also think that this was the best episode this season (or of the entrie series). Hina and Ayumu are sooo adorable and I really liked Ayumu's reaction to Hina's confession. Sakuya had also great moments and Isumi small scene really shined^^.

... & here I was hoping for a 52 episode season,,, ah well hopefully season 3 isn't too far away.

I was suprised Hayate had an older brother, I wonder why he's missing?

If he wasn't Hayate could've easily gone and lived with him after Hayate's parents left him with the debt.

well looks like I'll be starting to read the manga after the anime is over, I'm really interested in Hayate's ex-girlfriend.

I wonder if they'll even recognize each other...

Hopefully season 3 will start in next season cycle or within 1 year. Really look forwarded to the Lavadeat5h match too.

That was a great episode. The animation was done really well, for one. Is it me, or is animated fireworks just getting better and better? They look like the real things now.

The whole Ayumu and Hina's conversation was also interesting. They make a good combination.
And I laughed out loud at the thumb joke. Certainly didn't expect it at that moment.

Overall, not a bad way to end the arc/season. So the next episode is like a stand alone episode, and the final episode?

AyumuxHina :o

Well, Ive enjoye this season, to bad it must end now, I guess we may see it again next year.

Ayumu has become a much better character now taht she has some relevance. If i wasnt in the hina camp, id definatly be in the ayumu one(ive said this alot i know)

Some hints on what is to come, how much farthe is the manga from the anime? Id imagine only an arc or two.

Im glad the hina and ayumu thing was resolved, itd have sucked if that broke up their friendship(which boy problems can do especially at that age) I like when they interact.

Well, I guess Ill be on here next year.

Sakuya exposes herself as a brocon! :D And I was hoping that Hina would sing "I Miss You" (her character song for S2)

This episode has tons of quotes :

I thought you would say, I am already dating Hayate and have already done all sorts of things with him.

How about I call you Hayate onii-chan? (THIS MAKES MY SKIN CRAWL OMG)

Is that dango song a reference to Clannad or something?

Next episode :

Hinagiku In Wonderland!

more like....100 chapters

They have enough for a 52 episode season of 0 fillers and then MAYBE they'll be close to catching up.

This has got to be one of my favorite episodes of HnG.

Let's see...
+ Hina-Ayumu scenes. OH GOD HINA IS SO MOE.
+ Sakuya. She's just awesome.
+ A-tan flashback. I think Ayako Kawasumi is a perfect fit to her.
+ Nice distribution of focus between the Hina/Ayumu scenes and the Nagi bit
+ Great animation
+ Hina singing that Dango song. oh wow.
+ As mentioned, some of potential plot points were brought up
+ Hayate reusing Wataru's joke. Surprised that Sakuya didn't harisen him.
+ Using this ep to effectively wrap up this awesome season of Hayate.

- Disturbing lack of Izumi, Miki and Risa.

9/10 :D

I'm expecting a new season in 6 months time. I hope I'm right.

Poor Hina. I think she simply doesn't understand that Hayate really likes her and perhaps also might fall in love with her, but he thinks he doesn't have a chance, so he will never make a move. But I think Hina is no real Tsundere, because she's most of the times very nice to him and only flips out if he behaves like an idiot. If Hina just said a clear word, Ayumu would probably loose, because Hayate hasn't mention the "qualities" of Ayumu as far as I remember but he often raved about Hina. There's still the problem with Nagi, but Hina would have more chances to get him than Ayumu or even Nagi herself (in romantic way, because he doesn't see the Nagi as girl).

Fantastic episode. One thing I'm noting is a very surprising character making her way up my rankings. Im talking of course about the lovely Ayumu. After watching this I'm, convinced Ayumu fans must have been bashing their brains out over how shafted she was in the first season. Her character is remarkably lovable and fun. I seriously think she has gained much more this season than any other character.

Everyone talks about how Hina-centric this season is and how much the producers love Hina by giving her her own ending, but when your that far ahead in every popularity polls being a secondary character, a few extra snippets here and there dont really do much. Ayumu however turned from a crazy stalker on screen for two seconds eating something to a real character. I still love my Hina-chan the most but i certainly gained a lot more respect for everyone's favorite dragon fighting hamster.

Onto the rest of the ep. Sakuya showed a much more cutesy side than normal. In fact i think this might have been her most cutesy moment since the snow storm episode in season one. And she has a Onii-chan complex.

Oh, and i totally support Hina and Ayumu giving up on Hayate and starting their own yuri show.

I agree Ayumu is such an underrated character in this series, she really starts to shine as the story progresses further. Too bad we have to wait for a new season before we get more ;__;

Finally someone who talks sense! We already have enough proof of their love during the Shimoda onsen arc......

I did love the ferris wheel scene - ferris wheel scenes always remind me of Honey and Clover, and the line about a ferris wheel being a place to sit with the person you like and traverse the sky.
Although that brings us back to the Hina x Ayumu yuri spinoff idea posited above, and admittedly I was expecting the yuri goggles to be broken out again like they were in the onsen arc.

I've really liked this series, it's possibly less frenetic than the first series, but I think tells the story better, although that's just my opinion.

What? Only one episode to go? Well, let's hope that next year will bring us Hayate no Gotoku!!!

I support AyumuxHina yuri too xD.They are funny when paired together.
I don't want this to end so fast,it was entertaining since the first episode of season 1.I don't read the manga,I think its hard to end since there are so many people in love with Hayate.
Still,I hope there are more episodes to come.

She probably thought about Nagi's mother. All the fortune of the Sanzenin couldn't save her.

Good episode !

Finally Hina said it to Ayumu ! They are both great :)
Ahah it was hilarious though .
Hina "Admitting that i love him is like i lost ,and that sucks" LOL XD
Sakuya was cute "Hayate-oniichan" ow ^^
Damn , dunno who Hayate will choose , they are many girls who likes him , Ayumu , Hina , Maria , Sakuya , Isumi , Nagi and more ...
Hope the end of end won't be a harem ending , this manga have a potential to finish in a good way !!
And hope it won't be a Hayate x Nagi ending ... we clearly see that Nagi is just her Ojo-sama nothing more . Annoying too . Well , if the authors don't use the typical ways for this show's type .

Family, what Nagi's heart truly desires it, and she's engulfed with loneliness because she's realistic about her future. The people she's closely attached to someday will leave her side.

Hayate resolves within his heart to stay by Nagi's side forever, however, he poorly conveys those feelings and even kills the momentum of such a sorrowful scene with that repeated, cheap trick with the finger.:heh:
