the above site is pretty much dedicated to charging to download alot of different groups releases. Just a heads up with anyone who doesn't agree with this crap.

yeh this is bullshitz ... the site isn't concentrating on getting you to sign up to get the hentai ... but the anime ... "join here to download anime and meet other cool people who like anime omg im so gettin sued"

Something needs to be done about this, although the options are limited. Some of the fansubs on there I know the groups who did them personally.

Those sorts of bastards need to die. I hope they get infected with SARS because well, SARS is dangerous! Anywho, fansubs aren't the most legally supported thing in the world with the lack of copyright and what not so there isn't much we can do about how it's spread...

Even if it's spread from that site like aids. It's not like me to sit by and watch while somethings pisses me off espacially now that I just finished a 1000 word paper :twitch: . We'll see what happens to that site. Divine justice comes for all!!! :heh:

You need to join a repulsive Hentai network and pay a big amount of money to download anything.

Hrm; While I'm not sure if this is right, it doesn't look like they're using bittorrent (I don't have the money to join and find out myself). So, my guess would be that what they're doing is charging for bandwidth more than the movies. 'Course, as I said, I could be wrong. They don't specify how the downloads work in the FAQ... but they say:

How much can I download ?
You can download day and night and even while you sleep. Download managers are OK! There is NO download limit on the Adultbouncer.com network. You can download as much as you want without worrying about getting charged more. The only limitation is that you can only download two files at the exact same time. Once one of the downloads is finished you or your download-manager can start another one. This is only to keep up the speeds and to make it fair for every user.

Download speeds can vary quite a bit during a day. Users experience download speed ranging from 60KBs to 200KBs (cable modems) and 3KB to 5KB for 56k users. In our experience 80 KBs is what you can expect most of the time.

That gives the impression (to me, at least) that the movies are actually on the site, and not on a bittorrent link. :hmm:

Probably not a good idea to write to them, unless you know their business practices and you know how to express yourself. There's no point in shutting the site down if we end up getting the companies to shut the fansubbers down too :)

i don't think so. BT also gives varied speeds for me, during the day my d/l is usually if not always slower than the evening or night. Anyway the site mentions a download manager? couldn't that be a BT programme?

I use it for hentai primarily, and i've been on that site before to download Hentai that i was un-able to get from the group's channel, bittorent, or dc++. Apprently All sites on the Adult-bouncer network can no-longer use Divx encoded material, So most of the hentai stuff is removed. Now RoyalHentai is only serving Anime... which is wrong. I have bitched in there forums, but i got tons of people bitching at me back and flaming me. I can't really do anything else. And this is a HTTP/FTP downloading site, they download the episodes themselves and put it on a HTTP or FTP. You use download manager to be able to resume downloads. And i've been able to get 200K+ speeds from that site.

why did they take all the hentais out? couldn't they have encoded it into mpg or avi or something else?

By their logic, the Adultbouncer network (if you get the password, you can access every single site on their network; not JUST the one) doesn't need fifty sites serving La Blue Girl. Since you can get it easily enough elsewhere, they would rather use their space to host something you can't get as easily (in this case, fansubs).
