Scene starts with the trio (Clare, Helen and Deneve) trying to get as far away from the arc of projectiles. They suddenly felt the presence of enormous Yoki emanating from their front and they saw a small girl (Priscilla?) running from an awakened Alicia.

Scene changes to Mutant Beth attacking Yuma and Cynthia. They are in dire situation and Cynthia told Yuma to run for it. While Cynthia (arm and some leg missing) decides to awaken in an attempt to delay time for Yuma to escape. Yuma rush forward to stop Cynthia. (Oh my goddess please let this be real) - Suddenly from the heavens, Phantom Miria and Galeatea intercepts Beth attacks while Tabitha and Dietrich? (or Miata or someone) attacks mutant Beth from behind.

Scene change back to trio
The trio were hesitant to act due to heat? (dont understand...) Just when awakened Alicia is about to finish off small girl, the Organization retrieval unit tranquillizes Alicia and stopped her movement. The men in Black present questioned the identity of the Trio. The Trio flees and the scene ends with MIB awakening!! - (should be fake :() .

How could anyone get confused between Tabitha, Dietrich or Miata? They all look completely different from eachother.

Well since the previous chapter thread usually dies as soon as the new chapter thread is posted, and since I worked hard making a map and just posted it for Hedgy to see, I'm going to repost the map and message here, so we can discuss until the real spoilers come about.

Well, I worked on another map to explain the possible location of Gonahl and the path Clare and Raki could've traveled after fleeing Ophelia. Anyway, Clare traveled North to get to Gonahl from some village were she killed a few yoma at. Once at Gonhal, like Hegey says and the scanlation confirms, Clare and Raki flee Ophelia by heading north into a forest. At some point Clare and Raki split up, and according to the translation on One Manga (hope it is right), Clare heads North East and Raki Heads North West. Anyway, North of the Forest is a Mountain Range which I like to think Riful lives in, though she could very well live in the Mountain Range Irene lives in. On the possible path that Raki takes, he has forest to one side, and mountains to the other, and there are probably a few villages on that path the lie between the forest and the mountains.

Anyway, using these instructions from the manga, so far, the map that people said Yagi drew still makes works.

Anyways, I'm calling it right here, right now, Priscilla saves Clare.

Nice work, Gangsta! Don't worry about the translation. Other 2 editions I have confirm that on OM. Anyway, I think Raki never crossed the mountain range: too risky. Believe me, I know how dangerous it is. :D He might have climbed enough to catch a glimpse of a village from up there. Then he might even have stopped to wait for Claire to reach him. But then, seeing she didn't come, he descended into the plain to head to the village he might have seen.

I'm referring to getting the chapter itself, not the content.

People work more on the weekdays and don't have the time to be here when the chapter comes out, so this month will be alot easier for alot of people, myself included :)

1) Forced to team up with Alicia and/or Ghosts
2) Dies horribly

Now then, if she teams up, it would be interesting to see the conversation she'd have with Miria. The oldest female warrior of them all talking to (besides Galatea) probably the oldest of the Ghosts.

I'd have to agree with you that Riful isn't gonna ally herself with the ghosts. As much as I like her, she's too much of a control-freak to lower herself to them and ask for help. Besides, she doesn't have time for that, not when there's an awakened abyssal right in front of her who's most likely gonna kill her right on the spot.

If you want an explanation first, who do you want it from? Priscilla's the only person who can explain to the ghosts what happened. I doubt Raki's going to tell anything to the Black Black Club anytime soon, if they're even aware of Priscilla being with him at all. He won't tell nothin' until the ghosts get to him, and there's a much better chance of Priscilla meeting them first instead of Raki. On the other hand, if Priscilla just shows up again to get Raki away from the BBC, that would just be stupid. She disappears somewhere and comes back without a good reason? That's something I don't want to see.

Anyways, it's much more then that. Riful's reputation, who she is, what she wants....she's just too different, responsible for too many things and to put it simply, the Ghosts will have to both put up with and forgive alot of things Riful did if they will fight together. It looks like Raciella won't be joining the Ghosts after all like I originally believed, but even for someone on Riful's level, it's just not worth it.

And before any of you think the spoiler is good, let me ask you something: An MiB...Awakening?

If Galatea comes in, so should Miria. The way I see it, they're the only ones along with Priscilla who can be of help to the people already there.

There was a urban legend that says he was a sniper in Vietnam with tons of confirmed kills. Not to mention how he treated the crew of his show... :upset: However it is false... and just an Urban Legend.

Well, here's the deal, we don't know how many HellCats were at that town. By all accounts, their were only 2. I agree that it's not within his power to kill them both single-handidly(even though we haven't seen how strong he really is, their power we can agree is too much). I merely said it was plausible.

I can't believe she would do so something that independent without trying to rescue Raki first, regardless of his current physical condition. Even if she can't cure him, their is no way she would just stand by and let these guys take him to whereever they go.

Why did she disappear then? If she was with him the whole time and fighting to protect him from the hellcats, she should be there as well and Raki never would've been taken away in the first place. Like I said, him getting rescued by her after getting kidnapped without a proper reason as to why she took off would be ridiculous.

Perhaps Raki told her to hide from the approaching MiB's; she probably felt their familiar presence.

I'm not assuming anything on this subject. It's stupid we're even arguing this, Yagi really messed up by being ultra-vague on this one, but everything seems possible to me.

.....I think this is it.

It's weird(and by weird, I'm referring to Alicia, how did she get back into Claymore state?), but it sounds alot more plausible then the last one. This could be it.

She didn't reattach her arms, they were torn off, remember? to shreds, but she repaired them to such a degree, that it not only should have been something only a Defensive can do, but a very good Defensive.

Well they did send Miata to Rabona before Isley fell. After Isley's death things have kind of sprung into fast forward and out of control so much...I don't think it's possible that the Organization planned this far ahead (why waste seven years of time to lose Alicia and Beth like that?). Though they certainly seem eager to pick up the pieces for more experiments. To top it off the Organization can't quickly contact Clarice and Miata...Rabona doesn't openly welcome Claymores so getting a message in would have been difficult.

As you say, and I agree with you, there's just not enough screen time to really gauge Miata's or Clarice's abilities. If that's one gripe I have with Claymore it's that so much is happening on so many different angles that one chapter a month is frustratingly slow. I'm really hoping that the coming months will converge these plots more so that we're not jumping around so much wondering what happened to x character.

my points on miata:

1. miata DOES HAVE the power of a rank 1, but due to her youth-immaturity-childishness and being a non-seasoned warrior/non-veteran, she is only given rank 4.

2. her power is for real though + her super natural 5 senses, she is just inexperienced and non-serious. she literally is a child being asked-assigned to be a killing machine. she doesn't have the seriousness or commitment or dedication to be-do this role on her own. she needs guidence-orders from her "mama" (clarice).

3. imagine if miata was an adult and serious like irene or miria with her rank 1 power and her unique ability of super natural 5 senses....

4. miata woulda realized on her own that agatha is the immediate threat and needs to be killed first. then, miata could have executed the willing galatea (as is seen in the manga).

5. miata super nuatural 5 senses should have been able to easily detect agatha's gradually strengthening attacks on her...

i mean, you feel an attack. when you get hit-punched-cut-hurt, you FEEL it. And, miata has super ability to FEEL. so, even agatha's gradually strengthening attacks, should be easily noticed by miata.

but miata is a child and isn't able to think on her own. miata only does what clarice tells her to do or instinctively reacts when clarice is in danger to protect her "mama" (clarice) or herself.

6. i never payed attention, but solace is right!!! miata does have amazing regenerative abilities for a clearly offensive type warrior.

maybe, it was just an "adrenaline-emergency" rush to try to save her "mama" (clarice), much like how human females will get an adrenaline rush in an emergency situation to lift up a car to save a crying baby underneath or whatever.

7. miata is definately very very similar to priscilla. they are both very young (though compared to miata, priscilla is much more mature. priscilla had a naive idealogy of the world. miata is so young as to not have any such thoughts and she isn't weened yet as well), super powerful, and unstable.

Believe me, I know how dangerous it is. :D He might have climbed enough to catch a glimpse of a village from up there. Then he might even have stopped to wait for Claire to reach him. But then, seeing she didn't come, he descended into the plain to head to the village he might have seen.


Ah, I'm looking at the map a little differently than you are. Irene's mountain range the way I saw it, is not connected to Riful's mountain range. The forest goes between those two mountain ranges. You could kind of see it a bit better before I drew raki's path there there was some green in there. But I just saw raki following he edge of the forest and the mountain. and that there are probably a few town between the forest and the mountain range. but it was just a possiblity he went that way. I think he probably stopped soon.

Exactly, I know I'm annoying that I've been ranting this again and again all day, but Yagi is putting too much on his plate. He's got so many things happening at once now, that instead of focusing on one group, he's focusing on 3 different groups at one time and making little progress on each. Raki for example, he had to speed up and what happened? We only got the aftermath of what should have been an exciting battle that I was looking forward too. He's put too much on his plate, and now he's rushing to make up for it.

It could also be that we're getting nothing but battles; admittingly, for the last several chapters, we've gotten nothing but more and more fighting and less on story, and waiting for a whole month just to see more of the same gets exhausting and irritating(Clarakiss :p)

I know I'm nagging, but it's also true. Call it pent-up frustration released due to the new chapter :heh:

Hmm, interesting. I guess I will have to let it stew for a while. Not that I am saying I don't believe it but I was just under the impression that reattaching limbs was a basic skill all claymores should have mastered (said so by riful) and how fast it goes depends on how much yoki you put into it. I don't really have a comment about the Miata comparisons to a defensive warrior, because I don't feel like thinking at the moment :heh: . Maybe tomorrow, if it's that important to me then and I remember, I will think of something.

raki had been traveling with clare, though obviously clare had to have slowed down for child-teen raki when they were still together. (teresa had to slow down for human girl clare too)

based on this, i don't think that Hanel town is that far away, though right now i don't know exactly how much time has been passing between their split up and when raki arrives in Hanel town and when clare arrives in hanel town.

i actually now, think that clare and raki might have just about missed each other in hanel town...

because....

i find it hard to believe that the boy and girl (probably young dietrich) would suddenly start talking about raki asking them about the statues if it happened awhile ago, just when clare showed up....

This is sorta more what I'm talking about. The way I saw it is there is a forest path between two mountain ranges. When I used Gimp to fill in the color for the forest, it even colored that part between the mountains. Unfortunately, I threw Raki's path through it and it covered it up, and I don't have the pre-raki-path version anymore, so I had to recolor the forest in. Anyway, I see a lot of little villages that have a forest to one side and a mountain to another side, and Clare went to village to village in search for Raki. Riful's first base is somewhere in that other mountain range.

Okay here is some advice: According to Cyclone, when available, use 10Sigh translation, since Cyclone questions us for questioning the accuracy of a 10Sigh translation. With the more recent ones, people say Shrimpy over CNet, but you should read both, and now it is Gernot and CNet that you should both look at.

Second point, it has already been proven that your translation is wrong, that Doga, town or area, is in the Western lands. It is officially a mistranslation now, since Zato posted the raw and showed the character for the West was used instead of the character for the south in the Japanese version. One Manga has a habit of picking the absolute worst translation to post. :/

So far we know about only one claymore warrior able to kill an AO level creature - Teresa. Miata is still no4, yes she has a potential to became no1, but she isn't one. IMHO her fight with Galatea was very equal. Galatea was no3, there is a chance her combat abilities improved, but still Galatea shouldn't be better than no2. Beth is a abbysal level monster (she should be at least as good as Rosemary). If Miata with help of Galatea and Miria is able to kill AO then ghost has no one ot opose them (I don't count Destroyer as opposition). In other words that spoiler is a fake :)

She simply isn't the one trained for awakening in the Soul Link process. So far we know about only one claymore warrior able to kill an AO level creature - Teresa. Miata is still no4, yes she has a potential to became no1, but she isn't one. IMHO her fight with Galatea was very equal. Galatea was no3, there is a chance her combat abilities improved, but still Galatea shouldn't be better than no2. Beth is a abbysal level monster (she should be at least as good as Rosemary). If Miata with help of Galatea and Miria is able to kill AO then ghost has no one ot opose them (I don't count Destroyer as opposition). In other words that spoiler is a fake :)

As to this whole Miata debate...

I've seen 4 translations and 3 of them (Official VIZ English translation, gernot, and shrimpy) say she reattached her hands and the other (Blind, the one on One Manga) says nothing about reattaching/regenerating, just that she threw her sword with a broken hand. Plus if you look at the panels only her wrists appear to be growing back... so it's same to say reattaching. She did land close to her hands but we never saw how close she was to them.

I agree that Miata has massive potential. With her very injured body she pulled Agatha whole awakened form until her hands broke off due to them already having been cut almost in half. I'm currently working under the assumption that we will see something come of her but have no clue as to what... or who important she'll be to the over all plot.

The way I see it is, when you have someone who is a potential number 1 in a generation with an Active number one, then the person who is potential number has the potential to surpass the current number 1. This is how it was in Teresa's time: The organization thought that Prissy would eventually surpass Teresa. They did, however, not know the full extent of Teresa's power. Now in the current generation, what makes the org think that Alicia was the greatest number one of all time, is that she can awaken. If she didn't have that ability, then the org would probably have ranked her under Teresa and Priscilla. Incorrect. Clare said that if the parasites attach themselves to a life form they can continue to function indefinitely. So it's not feeding on her but has merged with her. The question is what the new life forms intentions are... feeding or killing. I'm going with killing due to her seeing to attacking everything in sight after "awakening", if that's what we call what just happened.

Ah, I'm looking at the map a little differently than you are. Irene's mountain range the way I saw it, is not connected to Riful's mountain range. The forest goes between those two mountain ranges. You could kind of see it a bit better before I drew raki's path there there was some green in there. But I just saw raki following he edge of the forest and the mountain. and that there are probably a few town between the forest and the mountain range. but it was just a possiblity he went that way. I think he probably stopped soon.

It's possible, the forest cutting through the mountains was just one possibility anyway. We agree on the basic point that, that forest is the one that is connected to Irene's Valley, Gonahl, the town with the Teresa and Clare statue and Riful's base. The way I see it between mountain and forest might be flatlands that don't have too many trees due to either lack of sunlight, or rockiness of the immediate area. I'm no expert on this stuff; that's just how I'd imagine it. So near the edge of the mountains you can build town ands roads without having to cut down too many trees. So that's why I think the town with the Teresa and Clare statue is near the mountains, and besides going to riful base would be a road going up mountain side.

I also don't think that Raki would've kept travelling, unless he is pretty stupid, since it makes more sense for him to stop and wait for Clare once he hits a town, instead of continuing to move away from her. I think Clare searched a few towns before getting there.

Anyway, nice map and reasoning.

I think it's fair to say that Beth is Abyssal now, at least. She is Alicia's twin and the odds of both of them being No.1 potential is much more then Rafaela and Luciella. In her supercharged Awakened form....their's no way she isn't Abyssal.

Well... I just got the VIZ version of Volume 15. :D Which, was supposed to go on sale 11/3 (November 3rd) here in the USA... thankfully it wasn't a strict release date. So the bookstore gave me the email my copy had arrived and was ready for pick up. I was there in 15 minutes :p

I'm only 3/4rds of the way through it... so I have nothing but first impressions. I haven't even compared it, line by line, to other translations yet. Clearly they have fixed up a few errors that were on other translations and likely made some mistakes of there own. Likely conversations will flow better but be slightly less accurate.

I really liked Galatea's response to Miria mentioning the village that had never heard of a yoma, which I'll get to in a moment (well to me it sounded far colder then her response in other translations). In the VIZ version the village had never seen a Claymore or Yoma was was far to the west and not near the Org in the east. Also Miria herself was the one the villagers saw, so Miria didn't read a report but witnessed there reaction first hand. Which, whether or not is accurate to the RAW, make far more sense as to how it caused her to form her belief the Org made the Yoma. Now, in the translation on One Manga, after Miria tells everyone that Galatea line is far more like her Nun personality... Read for yourself...

However in the VIZ Version she's for a moment way more like her old self (IMHO)... saying "How foolish... It's just wild speculation based on the words of a bunch of villagers isolated from the rest of the world. It doesn't amount to a shred of proof." She called her idea "foolish," insulted some random villagers, and then called to question Miria's logic. Plus that pose her face is in... :heh: It really did remind me of the old Galatea... That's the Galatea from The Witches Maw and not Nun Galatea, IMHO.

I could go on and on... but I'll limit it to one more thing. Priscilla doesn't say "Are you picking on Raki" she says (your going to love this) "Are you BOTHERING Raki". :heh: Wow! If all it takes to get Priscilla to get ready to kill some one is to BOTHER Raki rather then picking on Raki... then Raki's gotta have been constantly stopping her these past 7 years from killing people. :heh:

Looks like Alicia is still trying really hard (possibly with help of Beth) to "unawaken" herself while Riful sits there and wonder "oh what the hell is going on."
Priscilla, now in her awaken form, meets Beth the Kitty while looking for Raki. She is also very hungry.

Duh, Raciella will keep firing those spears until she is stopped, so that seems to be the highest priority at the moment. Riful herself admitted that Raciella was already as strong as her, and her power was stil rising, so that only leaves Priscilla.

Maybe she will leave and try to give a hand to her sister (and get destroyed by Pri'chan).

Ho, interesting chapter, didn't expect that. I was prepared to get another disappointing chapter but fortunately it's great. I wonder how come Alicia came back to her human form? It seems that Beth somehow managed to bring her back (I doubt Alicia awakened, otherwise she would rather fight in her awakened form). But if it is so then why did Alicia kill AE? I thought she snapped. Now she's attacking Riful anyway. It will be interesting to see how will she react now that Beth is gone. The best part of the chapter is the one with Priscilla though. She's back to her "real" self, the one that we've seen after she killed Teresa and the one I want to be killed by Clare. Somehow she's immune to the parasites and she can even eat them (unless she dug into Beth's intestines).

Heh or maybe, it is still possible that the Spanksta wasn't wrong last time, and Alicia still might join Riful, or it is evil possible that Alicia will die before Riful if one of those two dies in the next few chapter.

1) Beth as her last act, restored Alicia back to her Claymore state, and Alicia the Claymore went back to following the organizations orders. But the question is: Is Alicia the Claymore the same as Alicia the awakened? If Alicia awakens her mind set will be completely different. So, there is still a chance that Riful and Alicia join up, though the chance has gotten a bit slimmer.

2) Alicia is still emotionally connected to her sister I think. So if Priscilla starts to kill Beth, it could give Alicia the migraine from hell, and Riful as a fake spoiler suggested could take advantage.

:) Now there is something for you to admit though: Admit how much cooler Priscilla is without Raki. :D

Holy crap...I have just seen some spoilers, and due to my not-so-great computer skills and my general wish to keep my account, I'm going to avoid revealing where I found them on the thread.

Anyways, let me sum up a little of the chapter for you.

It opens with Alicia completing her de-awakening process and attacking Riful. Alicia as it turns out is a real powerhouse even when she's not in her awakened form! Riful fans will have to bear with me as I describe her fate. Our Lady of Asskicking (Alicia) proceeds to school the oldest (and only) living Abyssal in the arts of getting her limbs hacked off.

Riful managed to keep Alicia's blade away for awhile, but in the end couldn't stop her and winds up losing her other arm and half of her right leg. Then, just when MisterJB's hopes of killing off the Lolita warrior are highest, Dauf grabs Alicia's leg before she executes Riful. He says something while Riful cries and something amazing happens...Alicia stops the attack and finds tears streaming down her face. It appears that Alicia may have detected what has happened to her twin sister Beth...or perhaps not. I'm sure Cyclone will have an interesting translation analysis on every key moment.

This next part is going to disappoint people...but there's nothing about Yuma or Cynthia I can see in the chapter spoiler pictures anywhere. Instead Priscilla dukes it out with Bethcat, tears Beth's torso off the creature, and then replenishes herself by eating off of the top of the Abyssal Hellcat. Priscilla appears to have regained much of her adult (human) form, and even grows out a scintillating set of proto-wings. But then she jumps off and is faced with one hell of an angry animal.

And that's where the chapter ends...

Well, If Beth really wasn't as strong as we thought she was, it doesn't matter. However, if she really is 3x or 4x as Ryus believed, Raciella doesn't stand a chance :D :D :D

Reading in-depth, Priscilla seems...inpenetrable to Beth's attacks which, looking at it, could also be the Rods.


Therefore, I think the odds of her being damaged and infected during what happened are the town are nil. Despite her starvation, I don't think she really ever lost any strength at all.

In other words, if she was never in any physical personal danger during the battle, we can check that off the list of possible reasons why she left Raki. She killed the Rod Monsters and fled, possibly losing control of herself and eating Beth for more energy. Her words however:

"I came here today after this long struggle, following the weak remaining smell of that man"

This could be interpreted that she is still following Raki and looking for him now, or rather, she wanted to fight Raciella and is now free of Raki on the belief he is dead, which explains her reawakened AB personality.

That too; one thing is for sure, she definitely killed the Rod-monsters because Raki just doesn't have the skill to do it alone. Re-awakening before or after is hard to say, but at one point, it happened.

I personally think it happened after Raki got speared and she thought he died, so nothing stopped her from leaving and going off her own anymore. If she knew he was still alive, I don't think she would have left, though perhaps she thought she couldn't control herself like you said.

I agree with Zato; I doubt she wants to kill Raciella for revenge or anything like that, it doesn't fit the current personality she has. More likely she just wants to feast on everything until she is no longer hungry.

Your arguement is logical; then maybe it's like Zato said and she went away from him because she's afraid she would eat him.

One thing is for sure however; unfortunately, I don't think saving Raki is a priority to her anymore. Even in her weakened condition, she's shown no problem beating Abyssal-level warriors without breaking a sweat. It's possible she may look for him later, but I think replenishing herself is what's on her mind the most right now.

Which means, the odds of anyone rescuing Raki low now. It's possible that he may be rescued when they pass around Rabona, since they must as they are in the West, but it's only a chance. Unfortunately, he'll probably get to the Organization without trouble.

Which is a shame, Yagi really seems determined to make him superhuman :(

One thing though is her eating habits; she doesn't discriminate and when she is hungry she eats, and she cant stop. That is what got her involved with Isley and Rigardo in the first place, she was "a bit too savage".

First of all, I'm glad to see that I was proven right that Alicia's power isn't "ONLY" in her awakened form like some people have been claiming. She is clearly quite skilled with the sword as well.

From Riful's comments, it seems that Alicia switched roles with Beth, and is now the one trying to hold Beth back.

The reason Alicia suddenly stops is because she is losing control of Beth because she is fighting Priscilla (who is owning the crap out of her), with all her power.

I am curious about what Priscilla is up to.

I'll go with the theory that she thinks Raki is dying and came to stop Raciella, but by being separated by Raki her hunger/AB personality is resurfacing.

and with Raki being taken by the MIB, there isn't really anyone around to calm her down, so she is probably going to obliterate Parasite-Beth, and then go have an epic showdown against Raciella for the title of the strongest AB :uhoh:

And of course, Clare will finally see her nemesis again after so long.

I with the person who said that the faint smell of Raki Priscilla is smelling is on Clare, so Priscilla is heading straight towards Clare and Co. I got a somewhat different perspective from reading the scan than you did. It seemed to me like Beth was somehow still holding Alicia's form, and that when Beth started fighting Priscilla, they started to lose control. I think Alicia will awaken in the next chapter because Prisiclla ripped off and flung away what was left on the kitty before she started eating. As for the combined yoki, I wonder if Alicia and Beth shared strength via soul link. I'm not so sure about her holding her own against the likes of Riful in awakened form though, because at this point the ZACS were about to kill Riful.

To me, here, Riful is expressing her disappointment at being killed by a mere Claymore, who would usually not have a chance against her.

Raciella is the one that brought Riful to this point; after Raciella, she was to weak to fight anyone and could just flee.

But considering Priscilla's fighting Beth, not to mention her power is different than usual considering the parasite's presence. Beth's power is going beyond Alicia's control and it's causing Alicia to lose her own bearings.

But will Raciella's flesh be tasteful enough for her to eat it? Yoma flesh doesn't taste nice to another Yoma. Humans taste better to them. Awakened beings are part human but we know that Claymores also don't taste really well, so it makes sense that AB's and AO's wouldn't either. The Queen of the Desert will probably prefer to have a bite off human meat again instead.

Not really sure. Priscilla after killing Teresa might be enraged with the world for having taken her parents, so she probably won't have any remorse in killing people, but her main targets will probably be the Black Black Club for not having defended her brother and her family as it should have, and Yoma will also be her enemy.

I saw it slightly different; I think the reason Alicia couldn't cut through Riful's ribbons is because she's not using her super-fast scythe-arms and is just using a regular Claymore now.

The only time I recall were a normal sword was able to cut through Riful's ribbons was Helen and her Drill-Sword which doesn't really count.

Priscilla going for Claire and co...seems unlikely to me. I doubt Claire has Raki's scent on her, they've never really had close contact for extended periods of time or anything. The biggest they ever had was a hug and kiss only once.

Well you're entitled to that interpretation, but honestly, I think the ZACS got lucky with their surprise attack and almost wiped out an Abyssal with a single shot. Abyssals are vulnerable in their human forms, and I think Helen almost took out Isley with a single shot. But I don't mind the tears at all. Riful's been through such a major beating ZACS, Alica, Raciella, ZACS again, Alicia again, that I think that she is in a lot of pain. However, looking at her actions, she keeps on fighting and hasn't coward at all, and when Dauf was trying to stop Alicia just now, she was worried more for his sake than hers.

Because Beth is using power of such magnitude, it's probably forcing Alicia to use her own power and she can't control her own properly since she's focusing one controlling her sister's. We already know it's similar to Galatea's power to manipulate Youki. She can manipulate Youki as long as it's within her scope of power. But if her opponent's power is too much to handle, she loses control of her opponent or she can use more of her own Youki to gain more control. Same concept for Alicia and Beth.

It's not that she wouldn't be able to stomach flesh with such power, especially when Priscilla now appears to be much more powerful than Raciella in all likelyhood. We aren't getting it backwards, Riful clearly states that Alicia has traded roles with Beth, and is now doing her best to hold Beth in check while fighting Riful.

It has always been the other way around, but I always suspected that they could switch roles if necessary, and this chapter seems to support that.

Also, Priscilla catching Raki's scent off Clare would be possible, but that is some sense of smell Priscilla has considering Clare hasn't seen Raki in 7+ years. :heh:

It might seem that way, but Riful also said they can take turns, not to mention they've been training for another 7 years. Nobody expected that Beth could move as well as Alicia when they were fighting Riful and Duff at first. That was something Beth originally couldn't do. They overcame the difficulty of maintaining the delicate connection of the Soul Link and strengthened it, allowing either side to move in battle. I don't find it strange that they can alternate who awakens and who controls the other.

Hmm, but wouldn't she have taken care of that or tried to taken care of that way back then? She never really talks about it, though she has had her bouts where she broke down to a child bawling about her mom or dad. She also "enlisted" Isley to help find her parents though I don't think she really cares to do anything but eat nowadays and possibly look for Isley to continue her search for her parents. I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility that if she feels a yoki or power that is very strong that she would seek it out, out of curiosity. Which would most likely lead to a fight. But I really can't think of anything right now that Priscilla would be doing that deserves major air time; maybe Clare, the ghosts, or someone stumbles upon her and a dialogue, fight, or feeding takes place. If she is in fact looking for Isley who said he would help find her parents, and he shows up dead, the I would imagine that she wouldn't be too pleased with that and lashes out.

Maybe... she sacrificed her mass to sustain her power/body but she was at her limit since she couldn't get any smaller. Now mentally... based off a translation from an unknown translator... she appears (IMHO) to be mostly there. In other words fully capable of independent thought and reasoning. Now, to me she was quite the newly awakened monster she was just after slaying Teresa... to me it was far more like the raging part of her humanity that hated yoma has accepted what she is but she has maintained some of her human self and is not letting the yoma side run wild. So she still has a shot at redemption... well actually she has a slightly lower chance at redemption but a higher chance of it being a true redemption where she consciously makes a choice to change and redeem herself. Rather than a chance of her being "forgiven" because she's a mentally reverted, refuses to eat, and helped/likes Raki. Clearly the chance of her being killed by Clare for being a monster has sky rocketed too.

For the details of the fight, some of you seem to think Priscilla grew wings and/or resisted a pole attack. Sorry but the wings is flat out wrong, it was HellCat Beth stabbing her back, and Priscilla resisting a pole attack is unclear. This was a shorter than average chapter, so Yagi had few pages where he could have shown poles sticking out of Priscilla with evil teeth. Yet he didn't. It's far more likely these were just broken off tentacle attacks that were just sticking out of Priscilla's back. They where likely cut off by Beth herself when Priscilla moved so fact the Beth hit herself... Also based off the translation (once again I'm not familiar with this translator) It seems to me Beth resisted transforming into a mindless minion of Raciella (The Destroyer) by have Alicia take control. If true Beth wouldn't have a parasitic attack anyways, so Priscilla couldn't have been hit by one. Other translations and the next chapter should clarify the matter of what exactly happened to Beth and Alicia.

Moving on to Riful and Duff... Sorry JB I gotta disagree with you Riful wasn't a cry baby. She was just realizing she had nothing left and was for the first time in her existence, since becoming a AO, truly facing her mortality. Yet she stood her ground and kept raging against the dying of the light. Shieky is right, Isley too was in emotional turmoil facing his death... true he didn't cry but he wanted to live. There are two difference between them a) the sex... which didn't seem to play a role in this (but could be argued) b) Isley had years to contemplate his death... Riful had a few hours at best. Plus when Duff got involved all thought of herself vanished... all she cared about was him. I'm beginning to like both of them now for facts besides there power (and Riful's deductive skills)... if only for there caring for one another. JB your right... there still freaks but still they both have more depth to them now.

As to Duff growing back his arm... I hate to say it but that means he might be finding more power in himself. Which could mean he'll survive this fight... or at least delay it's outcome.

Now... things I'm confused about or contemplating down the road...

Why didn't Cynthia and Yuma make a minor appearance? are they dead? Or does Yagi want to do something with them that will take more then a page or two? We either way it's a cliffhanger :(

Also where did Priscilla lose her arm? was it the tail attack? Will the Org get it? Good luck AF's... you better be Raki's guide or your Fraked!

Did Clare sense Priscilla? I know she was able to sense Priscilla's power as a human girl... but what about her yoki signature? Also can she sense her that close to Raciella (The Destroyer)? Clare's sensing range seems to be the same as Cynthia's and Cynthia said Raciella was kinda like a jammer... If Clare can sense Priscilla it would be our first real clue to judging the power of Raciella vs Priscilla, Clare sensing Priscilla should likely mean Priscilla is comparable the Destroyer or Priscilla is way stronger. If she can't or has a hard time at it... well the Destroyer is likely stronger. Of course we would have to take Clare's distance from both of them into account. Map people... we may need your help next chapter (you all should make a thread request and state this as a reason for the thread).

My moneys on Priscilla power level wise but the Destroyers mass should make her a hard to kill... Taking out both heads at once will be hard (that assumes she can regenerate and is very fact at it). Need more time to think about the two of them in a face off and will also be waiting on other translations for this chapter.

No way; she's bigger final villain material, I'll give you that, but Priscilla awakened all her strength and potential as far as it could go and that is strength that surpasses Teresa.

Her strength is most likely more then 2xAO, maybe 3xAO or even higher. Only Awakened Claire has a chance of beating her, Raciella at the most is 2xAO.

She is not dressing in rags. Are you kidding? She has been dressing rags for three chapters now.

It might seem that way, but Riful also said they can take turns, not to mention they've been training for another 7 years. Nobody expected that Beth could move as well as Alicia when they were fighting Riful and Duff at first. That was something Beth originally couldn't do. They overcame the difficulty of maintaining the delicate connection of the Soul Link and strengthened it, allowing either side to move in battle. I don't find it strange that they can alternate who awakens and who controls the other.

You guys have made some good arguements. Still seems weird, but again, Alicia and Beth have come a long way and shown skills never seen before. Would be silly to get all surprised now.

I doubt Claire sensed Priscilla since she's surpressed as always. Still, the chance is there.

Since some translation is already out, I will just pointing out a few things:

1. When Alicia cut off Riful's arm. The move she used is called "Aku Zuku Zen" which shouldn't be translated into "cut down evil" since it is a name of an technique. It would be something that akin to a wicked fast slash/cut.

2. Riful's thoughts basically said Alicia is even stronger now then she was in her awakened form. There is a different force controlling her now compare to before. It seems to suggest that with the take over of Beth, Racillia is controlling Alicia right now through soul link since Racilla took over Beth.

3. After Riful got her leg cut off and stood back up, she basically said she has no more youki to regenerate nor hold awakened form. Note, she was never in awaken form since the start of the chapter.

4. When Alicia is acting weird, Riful said:"It looks like the other awakened youki (Beth) is fighting for her life. The bond between the twins is effecting her... now that the force in control of them is fighting something else." So Alicia is effected by Beth since Racilla who is controlling them is fighting Priscilla using Beth's body.

5. Just before Priscilla stick her hand into Beth's stomach. She made a comment about which one is the real one. So she knows about Beth being under Racilla's control.

6. The comments about Raki I already translated earlier. It's pretty much the same. She was able to make it this far because of Raki's parting smile. At the end, Priscilla called Beth and Alicia "Baka no Ko tachi" - in a way an adult talk down to a couple kids.

We aren't getting it backwards, Riful clearly states that Alicia has traded roles with Beth, and is now doing her best to hold Beth in check while fighting Riful.

It has always been the other way around, but I always suspected that they could switch roles if necessary, and this chapter seems to support that.

Also, Priscilla catching Raki's scent off Clare would be possible, but that is some sense of smell Priscilla has considering Clare hasn't seen Raki in 7+ years. :heh:

For the record, I'm pretty sure that Riful in her human body is still much more powerful then any normal Claymore, but Alicia is far from a normal Claymore herself.

I think I may have seen that quote about them switching somewhere too, but from the above at least, there is no telling who is controlling who, though logically since Beth did it in the past the assumption would be there.

But the way I see things is:
1) Alicia lost control and was in a half awakened state, where she took out a few ZACS.
2) One of the last acts Beth did was to revert Alicia back to Claymore, somehow.
3) Now once back to Claymore, Alicia starts to follow the organizations orders again.
4) Alicia is not used to fighting, using her own yoki, without Beth.
5) There is a reason why Yagi kept Beth,s claymore form on Beth Kitty.
6) Beth is somehow still linked to Alicia.
7) When Alicia fought Riful, Alicia was able to move freely, and Beth stay mobile and an attack on Beth by Riful slowed Alicia.
8) Priscilla > Dauf
9) When Beth fought Priscilla, Beth is able to move freely, however as Riful noticed when Beth is distracted it effects Alicia, so while Beth doesn't slow down, Alicia who is fighting as a claymore falls down, veins are popping up on her face as she is about to awaken again. Riful even makes a comment that she has awakend, which is probably mistranslated and should say Alicia is Awakening I suspect.
10) Yagi has Priscilla tare of the remaining Claymore part of Priscilla for some reason. To me, that means Beth is dead and Alicia will Awaken.

Well speaking of which, Yuma and Cynthia probably survived thanks to Prissy, unless Yagi recently decided to kill people off screen. :D

There likely are alive... at worst one is dead and the other will die from the wounds after telling someone about Priscilla. Think of the half dead warrior at the begging of Witches Maw. However that is the worst case scenario running through my head right now... most are far happier scenarios :p

Irene's likely death was very artist though... you never saw it but we all knew it was the very likely out come.

Think your wrong on Renee... don't see her death as being clear. There just no point in her not being alive... a minor character being confirmed dead this many chapters later is lame.

ummmm...I am a bit confused at the end of this chapter where Pricsilla says that she was finally nearing the scent of "that man". Who exactly is this "THAT MAN"? Could Priscilla have meant Isley? Does this mean Isley is stil alive? Is this scent and the need to feed/hunger the reason, that Priscilla left Raki unprotected? Does she even remember Raki anymore?

She was crying because she was scared of dying.
The very fact that she was scared to the point of shedding tears, proves that she is a coward.

So Clare is a coward for grabbing Raki, the one she cares for, during the Ophelia and Single Digit Awakened Being encounter, and Raki is a coward for agreeing to flee with Clare, much in the same way that Riful is a coward for grabbing Dauf, the one she cares for instead of leaving him behind, during the Raciella, ZACS, Alicia and Beth Incident.

A Coward would've left Dauf behind, IMO.
