Windows Blinds 5.01 and a chinese desktop tool called Xdeskshow. It's no different from any other desktop widget tool but i liked the widget appearance they had a bit more :heh:

With icons it's clickety-click click and job done; no need to spend hours to study some silly manual. Oh, and when there is 10 different programs, each of them has their own manual, so multiply the time. I know this from experience. ;)

You don't automatically know how to use a GUI either. Most GUIs aren't particularly intuitive.

Yes, it REALLY does. It hasn't swapped to disk ONCE since I put that RAM in yesterday afternoon—it's like having a whole new machine. 1GB really isn't enough for four hungry Xeon cores. I bought two sticks of this Wintec RAM on Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820161129), it's designed for the Mac Pro and comes with heat-spreaders like the Apple ones so your fans won't spin up faster. I highly recommend it.

I have 2GB of RAM in my imac and my MBP (damn expensive 2gb so-dimms!) and I hit the swap all the damn time. Safari pillages my ram. I've seen it using over a GB just by itself. Thats insane.

I only have 1.5GB in my PC running Linux and I've never used more than 2mb of swap.

Gah. Found a cool Kallen/Karen wallie black x white style. I redid the most of the windows onjects to reflect the theme. I need some black x white icons though T__T

Things to notice:
font color
the menu bar is white! it matches the wallie!
its mostly white over black or black over white or black over gray over white! ^^
Wish the animesuki's website layout would look somewhat similar to what I did with the the windows objects. Kinda makes it a thematic experience ^^

Oh yeah, if anyone got some mad icon creation/edit skills, drop me a line. I want to blackxwhite all the darn colored icons I have (although the colored icons look great with the theme since the red dot in the Japanese flag is colored bright red)

question of the day.. I am using my 17' laptop lcd and a 22' monitor. I tried to set the option to extended desktop and yes it works, but sadly the wallpaper resets. I am guessing its because of the different screen resolutions. Is there any way around this?

Fate/stay night, the anime, isn't ecchi (though one can argue about it's harem content). However this is based on a game which does have nudity and sex with a variety of the female characters. The wallpaper is quite fan made though. I was asking about the name because I was wondering if it was something official (like a suplement) that I hadn't heard of.

As for your insights on the name, I think that while Shortysdohdoh's post had to be deleted, his point is valid. The name is clearly intended as a sexal innuendo because the original source material is so sexual. Nobody would intend such a non-sexual joke about such sexual source material.

I've heard it used in such a way a number of times already. "Yaru" is simply a more casual, and sometimes a less polite version of "suru" so the meaning really doesn't change that much. One thing's for sure, I wouldn't be going up to a Japanese woman and ask the question, "Oneesan, suru...?" with a lewd face just like that. Shortysdohdoh's direct translation actually hits the spot. (This is sort of off-topic so I'll cut it short...)

Feel free to change the font choices if you like. Also, in order for album covers to show up, you need to have a 500x500 (approx.) image file of it in .jpg format stored inside the folder of the album itself. In my case, the cover for a particular album would be stored in C:\Documents and Settings\kujoe\My Documents\My Music\CD\(name of album)\folder.jpg.

In terms of memory usage, yzdock is actually very light. It's simply a dock, and for some people it's either a replacement for icons or a way to emulate the look of a Mac OS.

Like kujoe said, it's very light on memory usage. I like it basically because I have near-instant access to my drives and programs without clutter of icons on my desktop or having to go to the start menu.

as for nrLaunch, it serves the same purpose as docks, it puts an icon in your systray, when if you click, up pops the dialog. this allows you to access all your icons without having to minimize to your desktop. you can even sort your icons onto multiple tabs. the best part is it's 100% skinnable, allowing for lots of interesting designs. here's some links:

like i say the shutter speed of the lens... was like 20 seconds.. to have a long steam of light drag that far..

it proably had wide view lens.. to make more of a panoramic type of view.. and
