Has anyone got their to work and if so how ?
I managed to successfully install python but thats about it :(
Any advice would be helpful
in gentoo I just simply do emerge bittorrent and that's it =) It's really easy to get bt working on *nix

I doubt my host will install Gentoo Linux. At the moment i have Redhat Enterprise.
And the only thing i have access to is the shell feature in cPanel

Install python (it should be installed on rh systems) and get http://belnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/bittorrent/BitTorrent-3.4.1.zip unpack it and run executable files (btdownloadheadless.py for example)
Just a side note cPanel blows =) (ssh shell access is always better)
