After googling and browsing 4chan I have found 0 good sites for anime scans (hi quality images of anime character with one color background). I need some to make wallpapers, so share if you know any. (you can either share scans or urls)

easy to crop out the character if the background is one color, hence making it easier for him to manipulate the character to create a background/wallpaper

Yep =) It's just really hard to find any good anime scans...

Not sure there might be much but it's always a good addition to look at :)

Oh ok, I alwas just used whatever looked good. But ya it does take a lot of time to cut out a image. takes me 1-2 hours to get it done the way i want.

Is there a specific anime you want scans on? I suggest you trying searching for Anime Project Alliance they have great HQ scans of various animes.

Thnx, but those those scans are not so good quality (resolution is big yes....but). Well resolution doesn't have to be huge. I guess I am searching for cg art based on series or something (I guess I am not too sure myself)

Oh yeah, I forget you were looking for one color backgrounded pictures. Hmm, I doubt you would find very many because I have no such luck finding them myself. I've always had to cut the characters out of the scans and edit them to get good quality pictures.

I have question, is it really ok to make a wallpaper from someone else art works? The reason I ask this because some of the artists i know, worry their artwork might get stolen. Specially original artworks.

If you don't know for sure, ask for their permission. Also state if it is for personal use or if you're going to upload it the net. I've always had a good response saying that I could use the artwork.
