Both PV are official and they promote the anime version launched after the official Media Factory dedicated to Aria (April 24, 2010) was opened.

It's been a while since I didn't read the novels and my chinese is bad but I still got the general idea of the books. Here are the spoilers



Volume 1: Aria meets Kinji. Kinji gets a romantic moment with her. After,Aria transfers to Butei High and gives back Kinji's belt. Afterwards, first apparition of Riko Mine thy causes Aria go ____. First apparition with Shirayuki Hotogi(turns that she's a yandere. First mission of Kinji, who becomes the Aria's slave. Encounter with Reki and Aria's mother a bit after. It's revealed that the Butei killer is R*ko. Revealed that she's L*pin's descendant. We also get to know somewhere in the book that H in the name of Aria stands for Holm*s(the one of A.C. Doyle). Bit of blabbering and bye bye R*ko. End of the story. I'll edit it after I review volume 1.

I read vol 1 personally so if it's chapter 10 above of the manga then it's the part where Kinji goes to the airplane to stop Aria.
Kinji knows Aria would confront the butei killer but Kinji can't leave her alone that's why he follows up to her.Then he meets up with Aria in the plane. Aria is scared of lightning and she curls up whenever lightning and strong thunders occurs. She is soooo cute she even tries to cling on Kinji but the butei killer strikes. The butei killer is Riko. She is a descendant of Lupin. When Kinji and Aria confronts her. She use poison smoke so every passenger of the plane falls back into their room and also when Kinji and Aria. Kinji reveals who the enemy is and enrage. Well the butei killer is one of the criminals that put frames up her mom. Aria stubbornly tries to confront the butei killer and kinji said he would go to. Aria only ended up with facepalm Huh!? face :) the two confronts again the butei killer now. The butei killer removes her false mask and in it is Riko. The super duper cute Riko. She also reveals shes from the bloodline of thieves the Lupin. She said something which enrages Kinji. He draws his gun but the shaking made him off balance and by that time. Riko already shoots and shatters his gun. Aria charges in with dual pistols but Riko also reveals another pistols on hidden on her thighs. Now a hand to hand pistol close range battles begin. Kinji observes the fight and when Aria manage to grab her. Kinji launches to attack. But Riko has another secret. Her twin tails aren't for show. It's an extension of her body and used as hands to attack with two daggers. And Riko attacks directly the holding Aria. Aria in critical situation. Kinji carries her and flees . Now here's the tricky part because I don't understand much. But Kinji undress aria or just opens her uniform and he applies to medicine directly at the center of her chest. Maybe to hasten the effects. Well the cure is fast because Aria is back in action. Aria stands up to confront Riko but Kinji stops her but she won't listen. So to stop a rampaging princess a prince must emerge :D Kinji kiss Aria to shut her up but the stimulation is too much and it's the first time for Kinji experiencing this. He enters gigo.... I mean Hysteria Mode. Kinji device a plan to counter Riko while Aria is in her knees full red tomato and trembling. The two set up their plan and plans to attack. Kinji goes in front and confront Riko. He throws the fire extinguisher but Riko just blast it up. And fires another bullet. It's only a few centimeters in front of Kinji. He can't evade. But who will evade. His in H.S. Mode. He cuts it with his butterfly knife in half. Then from a compartment above Aria emerges and the two corner Riko. Riko goes. In the end Riko manage to escape with her clothes as a make shift parachute. She's in her underwear but who cares she escapes. Then as she escapes 2 missiles are in direct route to hit the airplane. it hits the two wings and the airplane is crushing. So the two goes to the cockpit. And Aria is in the pilots control. But they can't land it in the airport or rather. Their is no place to land it. So Kinji device a plan. He calls his buddy which I forget the name. I think it's muto or what ever but his a member of the logistic I think. The one in charge of the vehicles. And his a great driver himself. I can't remember much what Kinji ask him but it's about the artificial island or butei high. Kinji plans to use it as an airplane flat form. Well it's 2 kilometer straight path. But it's dark so the chances of it missing it's target are huge. But with the help of his classmates. They make the lights in the road and Reki also helps in wind direction. With Kinji on board and Aria piloting it. They manage to land it safely.
The next morning. Aria is gone or rather she's been ordered to come back. Kinji in dilemma about this but he makes up his mind and starts running. In the top of the girls dorm? not sure on what building is it. In their the helicopter of Aria is already leaving. But Kinji still shouts and shouts. Aria hears this and said "your late" or something like that. Aria jumps off from the helicopter and the two starts running away. Aria finally reveals what the H. means in her name. It's Holmes. And Aria recognize Kinji as her partner. Now the two sweet couples back in their own house but ......................... the super yandere wife Shirayuki is back. And she is in shock when she saw those two.

to be honest i never did like Zero no tsukaima. the idea was pure gold lots of potential awesome to exploit. But its was all poorly executed.

Don't worry, it wasn't the worst part. The worst was in Shakugan no Shana in the beginning of Season II whith the Hecate clone. Boring as hell. And in the end, the thing was completely useless.

But I don't think that the same thing will happen with SnS or ZnT. A 12-episode series is a double edged knife. What I mean is that it can be good or bad. There won't be the need to ''add'' things with a 12 episodes series, but the problem is that they can decide to ''finish'' the series at volume 5 if Hidan no Aria isn't going well. For example, they decide to end the series with a VN like ''harem ending'', which is to say that the end is something like ''Kinji lives happily...''. And when JC Staff will find out that Hidan no Aria can't compete with Toaru Majusu no Index or Haruhi Suzumiya but is only a great excellent novel series that's in the novel ranking between no3 and 10, maybe JC will simply give up.

With 2 dots, there is a line. With 3, there's a triangle. Which means that the first part of the story starts with Shirayuki Hotogi, a witch, trying to rip Aria into pieces because she's close to Kinji(the triangle is ONLY in V2 since, y'know there will be more girls). At least, it wasn't the most dangerous weapon she has. The first part is about the relationship between Aria, Kinji and Shirayuki(written with the characters for White Snow I suppose). We have the pleasure to read how is Shirayuki in yandere mode and how shirayuki loves Kinji. The latter part is about Shirayuki and Kinji on a date. Aria steps in at a point when shirayuki gets kidnapped and Jeanne d'Arc appears and then I kinda forgot but I still remember that Shirayuki had three wishes and one of them is that Kinji kisses her. No need to tell what happened between shirayuki an kinji. After Kinji gets into HSS mode and...

I only remember that there's a happy end. In the epilogue, we see Riko Mine again.

Her name is Kana. While in this mode. She is in permanent Hysteria Mode. But after deactivating hysteria mode. She will enter sleep mode. Ch1

Well, first we get some new characters. One of them is a youkai - oh I can't translate the names for the characters sorry - who seems to have lived for 808 years. We get a new vampire, Dragula's (or I don't know what's his name) daughter. As I mentioned before, there is a blond haired roman butei nun who is freakin' crazy( for those who read Index, think of Lidvia Lorensomething) reciting parts of the Bible. Jeanne d'Arc is also there in the meeting, with Kinji of course.

Somehow, there is a problem with Kinji about Baskerville or somethink like that and Everyone got into a fight. Then Aria comes along with Kinji's bro/sis. Aria kinda faints because of someone and it seems that Kinji will have to kill her in a couple of years or she'll bring chaos because the seal is lifted or somthink like that.

Well, Aria kinda forgot everything and wakes up with empty alcohol bottles - the youkai drank a lot I think - , a red mark on her neck and on a bed with Kinji. Well, guess what comes in mind to Aria.

The chapter 2 is abbout a cosplay event. Riko Mine got a gunman, Shirayukii Hotogi got a teacher, I forgot for the others but guess what Aria got for the cosplay in the paper drawing ? (y'know the thing where you draw paper at random in a box) And what got Shirayuki, Riko rolling of laghter and even Kinji -though he was pretty scared of the consequences- ?

Aria had to cosplay a 4th grade elementary school girl. Gets it suits her pretty much, huh?

When in Hysteria Mode his on the same level as Aria in battle strength but Hysteria Mode isn't just strengthening your over all physical capabilities. It also hasten your way of thinking and perceiving of your surrounding. With strengthen physical power it also strengthen your mental power. In that category. His above your average on the girls. The only sly one enough to trick Kinji in Hysteria Mode is Riko.

Doesn't help when they almost hog most of the main voices anyways, so it feels kind of irritating when you hear them all year long.

I approve Haruka Tomatsu for Riko. She's only 20 and performed major roles. As for Rina Satou, I don't really know.

Aoi Yuki for Reki. Just as Tomatsu, she's pretty young. Started voicing Murasaki in Kure-Nai when she was 16, and is voicing now at the age of 18. No doubt that she'll have a long career. And I would take Minori Chihara over Inokuchi.

As for Shirayuki, pretty much any VA could get the role. But even for the yandere-extreme fans, no Okajima or Kawaragi."Nice boat'' was traumatizing. (Well, the latter one could voice Reki, but you know what I mean). My fav is Yuka Saitou.

By the way, hearing Hanazawa in yandere would break my beautiful image of Tooko-senpai.

Well the LN volume 1 is kinda stalled. I strongly recommand to read the manga, since there is more material. Though volume 3 is being translated, and well translated.

And about IS, it seems that it is Hidan no Aria that'll replace it. It seems that someone mentionned it previously in the forum.

Well, sometimes companies use a blitz of rookies. If I remember correctly, in Seitokai no Ichizon, all the main girls were young and did their first big role. The male lead didn't have that much experience either.

Well first, Seitokai no Ichizon is maybe one of the most popular LN. No company could not consider airing season 2. Well, no problem for Hidan no Aria. It's maybe one of the only LN that is popular in the LN and that'll be popular as an anime. The only other that popular would be Baka-Test , Shana and Index. No need to tell that there's also a certain Haruhi Suzumiya series.

Well, I don't know that much VA either. Most of it I have to know their name to remember what they did. Of course, I know some by heart like Aya Hirano, Rie kugimiya, Satoshi Hino or Aoi Yuki

I perfectly agree. But the companies are afraid that it doesn't turn into a success. Also, I know that Hidan no Aria is popular in China, but I don't know about Japan. I think that even if it's a great success, I don't know if they will be

Also, I get the feeing that people seem to 'remember' short series better than the 2 cour ones- After the half mark point people aren't as interested in them anymore mostly due to the newer shows that would be starting the next season.

Plus JC staff seem to arrange their popular 2 cour series only once a year, I don't know about you guys but waiting 2-3 years for the next season can get pretty painful especially if there's no promise it would even come.

(I imagine Shana fans are a withering hollow husk by now...)

"Only" once a year? That's pretty good considering most 2 cour series only get a second season like 2 years after the first and then nothing after that. I'd disagree that one cour are more memorable; it's exactly the opposite, they're extremely forgettable because they only air for 2.5 months and hardly have enough time to leave an impression on the viewer unless they're really well done like Oreimo, AB!, Bakemono, K-ON!, etc.

The case with Shana is a bit special because they didn't have enough content for another 2 cour run after Shana II aired and decided to wait for the novels to finish.
