I'm super bored and wanting some new music to listen to. Does anyone have some suggestions? I mostly like happy upbeat sounding stuff, but slow slongs are good too if they're really pretty and not boring. :heh:

For upbeat, try Second Flight and Asu e no Namida from Onegai Twins.

A nice slow one that I just discovered is Kiseki no Umi (Sea of Miracles), sung by Maaya Sakamoto. I've listened to it about 20 times already today, and I still can't stop O_o.

Try Hmisphere-Rahxephon
White Destiny-Preater
Ao no requiem-Samurai Deeper Kyo
Evolution-Vandread

Hee hee. Cheez and Ara, we must have similar tastes. I've heard most of those songs and really like all of them. ^_^ But I'll see if I can find the ones that I haven't heard yet. Maaya Sakamoto always has nice songs, doesn't she? :)

Happy and upbeat?

Hello! Project - Morning Musume, Sakura Gumi and Otome Gumi, Shuffle Musume Groups (yearly - last years was Salt5, 7AIR, 11WATER), Mini Moni, Coconuts musume, Country Musume, Hello! Kids, Berryz Koubou, Pucchi Moni, Tanpopo, Maki Goto, Matsuura Aya, (Ayaya) - One release : Gomattou, Aa!, ZYX
Puffy [Amiyumi] - You can get their stuff in America
Yaida Hitomi
SweetS - Recently released a mini album, my pop side swoons
S.E.S - Kpop, but really poppy girl group
Porno Grafitti - rock band with some poppy songs ; see also L'Arc~en~ciel and The Brilliant Green
Speed - Broke up a long time ago, but is known to get back together to record an album to make them some easy cash
ZONE - Poppy girl 'rock' band, recently lost and regained a new member
m-flo - Artist that does allot of kickass collabs en route of 'm-flo loves ....' Recent is m-flo loves BoA - the love bug
Ayumi Hamasaki - The artist I personally don't like, but maybe you will. Check out her earlier stuff; its decent. Stay away from RAINBOW and beyond - its utter crap.
Utada Hikaru - Another artist that by default must be listed. I do like her though.
Namie Amuro - The pop diva turned rapper's delight, check out her earlier works
SUGAR - Pop group, If I remember correctly they did the first OP to Kaleido Star (but correct me if I'm wrong)
Dream - both in its 3nin, 8nin, 7nin, and 6 nin incarnations release peppy tracks. I personally prefer the 3 nin Dream
Day After Tomorrow - Another preppy group in the guitarist-singer-keyboardist trend. Noteful is that Misono is Koda Kumi's little sis
Koda Kumi - sang OP to Gilgamesh and Final Fantasy X-2
Dreams Come True - Classic pop group
Shimokawa Mikuni - Did the FMP! Fumoffu OP, Saiyuki Ed as well
Kyoko Kuninaka - Idol
Ayano Tsuji (Tuji also used) - Reminds me of Tommy*, only less refined
tommy febuary^6 The lead singer of The Brilliant Green's solo efforts. Good old 80s retro pop.
Tommy's Angels - What do you get when you get a group of cheerleaders, Tommy from The Brilliant Green, and a reality TV show? This music group, of course!
Nana Kitade Debut single was the ED theme to Full metal Alchemist. Has a new single out, typical Jpop

Eh, if I think of any more I'll add them to this list. Baiscally any anime OP theme is going to be annoyingly peppy. :heh:
