I think they should at least make Tatenashi's hair more light blue, like a baby blue, unless they are reserving that colour for Kanzashi?

I sure hope this is not final, that's way too far from what her hair color looks like on...every single color page she's been in.

I'm talking about that photo posted on the website itself being photoshopped. But like I said it looks authentic. Then again, you never know what some people can pull off when they try hard enough.
I think it's unlikely that the posters are photoshopped, because they're anime-style character designs for characters that have not yet appeared in the anime... so it'd require a fair bit of skill to pull that particular combination off. Still, though, it could just be work commissioned by Media Factory for promo and to "keep the dream alive". It just begs the question of "why would they show images of 'second season characters' if there is no second season"? Maybe they're just floating it to see what the reaction is.

Time will tell...

LN was confirmed in Hiatus and not cancelled while 2nd season is still not confirmed. The studio will be idiot to not make one. This series reeks of CASH :heh: :heh: :heh:

Okay, so I did a little investigating. First I checked the anime main site (http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/is/), hasn't been an update since that OVA last year. So I raided their twitter (http://twitter.com/is_anime) page, and the recent post appears to be April this year, and one of them talks about the Pos X Pos volume 2 collection (http://www.mediafactory.co.jp/mfhobby/pospos/is/collection02/index.html) (NSFW no bra girls), which is the 5 IS girls in pajamas. If the image in that link (http://seventhstyle.com/2012/06/21/infinite-stratos-second-season-coming/) is for reals, that should make it Pos X Pos volume 3, but where's the bleeding announcement? Was that a zealous retailer 1 month ahead of schedule? :heh:

And it yields the primary question of all: if that image is legit, and the artist actually found the time to draw those posters (which doesn't sound like the artist can do that whenever he/she wants), why use characters in anime form that have not appeared in the first season if there is no second season?

I honestly believe that if the image is legit, it must be promotional material that the retailers are supposed to release once an official announcement is made (signaling them it's okay to start selling the posters). Of course it has happened before that retailers broke the street date too early, so who knows, maybe this is a situation like that. It would be nice, that's for sure :p

What I'm wondering is, where's the follow up to this story? How come the person who took the picture didn't push the retailer to sell them the posters for top dollar? :heh:

Don't trust updates. I've seen a lot of sites before that never updated even if the second season was over.

It still has hopes. Sometimes an announcement was made out of the blue by finding an announcement or retailers without even an evidence backing up on them though it would be a hard thing to consider them because they maybe false information. It happen on index II announcement. When second season was found on a poster or banner too. Not sure on what it is. Maybe a magazine. But people first thought that it's a photoshop one because their is no announcement at all. Until the near September where a real announcement was made.

It maybe fake it maybe true. But those posters are characters that aren't found on season 1. So why not make them if they aren't shown yet? relentlessflame got a good reason to believe int.

I saw this anime because I bought my girlfriend a Labyrinth manga on Amazon, and there was this leaflet in the package telling me about the anime and I was all "damn, I'll give this a go, it seems cool. I love mechs."

I watched it, and now I have a blog dedicated to making gifs of the series.
I came here hoping to get you guys and girls to check it out OwO;;

The IS incident teaches us about a lesson. Don't use Twitter to trash talk other people. They say that author uses Twitter to trash talk the voice actress(Yukana?) and other light novel(OreImou?).

Now, IS readers trash talk about the author's writing skill and his luck. To find out the truth, I may have to read it.

The manga is handled by an ero manga artist. Some people think the artwork is not as good as his previous artwork.

The hip is larger than her chest. He probably plays the joke on her. In manga(or traditional Japanese countryside rumor), they value the girl with big hip. They think she is a better at giving birth.

Izuru has good ideas, but how he conveys them, how he paces, and the timing of when he puts the scenes into action are all over the place. At least for me. He has no grasp for the dramatic as far s I can tell. The most dramatic he can get is microwave introductions of new characters or tech, making anti-climatic interruptions to showdowns and cheesy non-memorable shonen speeches which are more unbearable since at least long winded speeches have more impact.

The premise he dreamed up has promise. But he just lacks Capacity of execution as far as my analysis and reception of the first 6 novels go. As well as the anime.

The older manga's art looked way too scratchy and haphazard. At least on this one, the lines are much cleaner. But just to nitpick on Chifuyu (cuz it's Chifuyu and she demands perfection), her head seems a few 'tads' smaller than it should in comparison to the rest of her body. She looks like she's 6ft tall there... :heh: ... and dat chest... I didn't recognize it at first.
