Well good then. Really this series is so good but I can see why epi 1 would have put you off, Ive heard others say the same thing but then in the end liked it. I was partly spoiled to what would happen so I knew more about Fakir's personality. Ahiru makes me laugh more then anything XD
Yeah Im the same way, I do think it has to do with the voices cuz I remember complaining on how bad Michiru annoyed me after ZL 1 and it was based on her spazzing. Thankfully she calmed down but Im still not a huge fan of her voice. But in the manga she didnt bother me at all.
I had decided I would give the series another episode regardless of your answer. The answers you gave plus how I respond to episode 2 will probably determine whether I continue on with the series. If I know that the guys are going to change with time, I'm more willing to put up with them being like that at the beginning.
Side comment. I realized something after watching episode 1. Personality quirks that don't bother me in manga bother me more when displayed in anime. I don't mind the spastic, the carpet, or the cruel senpai in manga nearly as much as when I see those same traits in anime. I wonder if its hearing of the voice acting that makes the anime version so much more unbearable for me??
Yes and no. Ahiru's doesnt really but her spazzing calms a bit. Mytho and Fakir....I hate saying yes since it really is better if you find out by watching but if my answer makes you watch it then yes they do change. Mytho is like that for a reason which is explained in epi 1.
I watched episode 1 of Princess Tutu. Tell me this. Do the characters' personalities change in the series? Between Fakir's jerk personality, Mytho' imitation of a carpet, and Ahiru's spazzing, I wasn't inspired to watch more of them if they remain the same. (Particularly disappointed with Fakir cuz while I don't mind cool & aloof Sakurai, I don't like mean jerk Sakurai.)
