I can't really say for certain, not knowing German at all myself, but I imagine it's easy to look up. Apparently the case for it sounding like "Windelschaft" in StrikerS is the same reason why Stern is pronounced "Shuteru" in Gears of Destiny.
I remember bringing up to you that at the time, TVTropes mentioned that the Armed Devices in Nanoha A's were speaking both German and Dutch, which you corrected. It was in part of a conversation concerning just what Schach's Device was called--looks like the Nanoha wiki figured it out; it's called Windenschaft, which according to that wiki means Handle of Winds or Windblowing. Not whatever weird translation we were getting from Windelschaft.
