No, not just action. I watch anime from various genre. Here's a list of series in the last two seasons that I think worth a try:
Junketsu no Maria (fantasy)
Akatsuki no Yona (fantasy, romance, action)
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Romance, Music)
Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis (fantasy, comedy, action)
Parasyte - The Maxim (sci-fi, action, thriller)
Log Horizon (sci-fi, fantasy, slow-burn)
Amagi Brilliant Park (comedy, fantasy)
Fate Stay Night: UBW (need I mention?)
Garo: Seal of Flames (fantasy anime from a Tokusatsu show, a good series)
Gugure! Kokkuri-san (Comedy which made me LOL)
Death Parade (mystery, thriller, fantasy)
Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata/ Saekano (harem, comedy)
Yoru no Yatterman (action, fantasy, a spin on Tatsunoko's classic Yatterman series)
Grisaia no kajitsu (Harem, mystery, thriller)
So there you have it. Some of my recommendations of the last two seasons.
Frankly, there's a lot. A bit too many to mention. Just for this season anime, I follow Saekano (not to be confused with Saikano), Junketsu no Maria, Garo: Seal of Flames, Gundam Reconguista, Gundam Build Fighters, Log Horizon, and some more. Some series I have to postponed so that I can marathon it when the BD-version came out. There's just no time for them all.
Thank god not all shows this seasons are good (there are some crappy ones too) so I can just ignore those shows and focus on the ones I like. What I'm afraid of is the next two seasons. Looks like we'll get lots of good shows begging to be followed.
Oh, don't worry, Lid buddy. I'm fine here. Sorry for not talking to you much. I do like cosplay (though not a big fan), but what I mostly like to do is to just take a glimpse at them and admire the ones I like and leave it. I'm not really an active guy when it comes to commenting about cosplays, And since I see that there's already a good number of your friends commenting in the cosplay thread, I intentionally backed off a bit while still happy looking at you getting many response and replies.
And don't mind me. I do like mechas and Gundams, but you don't have to try hard looking for them just for me. Just take pics of what really interest you. There's really nothing like a photograph taken while the photographer is being excited with the object. You can feel the passion
