Thanks. I heard that some of the characters there are from video games, but it doesn't help because I don't play much video games these days. The elf girl had a long white pole that looks like a mallet at one end. My camera isn't really good at targets that are actively moving.. so I'll just try again if I see her on another convention.

Hmm... All I can say is those are nice-looking cosplayers. I also not familiar with many cosplayed characters from your pic (but I swear I've seen a character wearing that blue outfit like those sisters in you pics XD). Hmm, the pic of that elf-girl is hella blurry. Was she cosplaying elwing from Shining Tears? But Elwing use bow & arrows though .

Hi. I attended a cosplay convention today, and just got back home (past 8 pm here). A little lonely at the start of the day, because none of my friends are with me this time, but somehow I met a new friend and it brightened up my mood. Got lots of pics, will share them in a day or two. For now, I need some rest.

Eating at 6 is called "fast-breaking" so it comes naturally when it's time to end our fast. Actually, muslims don't necessarily break-fast at 6. The time for break-fast is when the sun sets. So, if you're in a country where the day is longer than the night, you'll have to endure longer. But there is exception for some places with more than 20 hours of daytime. For example, if you happen to be in Arctic or Antarctica where the day can last for a month, of course you don't have to fast for a month. That would be crazy and unreasonable. In that case, just follow the 12-hours-fasting rule. Islam is a religion that's not too strict about way-of-life methods and can be applied globally after all (basically, Islam only needs you to believe in 6 matters and to do 5 practice. Fasting is included).

Oh yeah, beside fast-breaking, some Muslims also eat very early just before the sun rises to prepare our bodies during the day. It's called "sahur" in my country.

Also, looking forward to your Con-photos ^^.

    Oh, and on another topic.

Since it's just a few days from now. I might be attending another anime con this week. Will share pics again. It will be in the same venue as the last one. Hopefully it doesn't rain, so that the cosplayers could pose more freely outside.

Interesting info, I didn't know that before. And one more thing, I heard they eat only once a day during fasting.. at 6 pm. Do muslims in your country do the same? Also eat only at 6 pm?

Unfortunately no since I'm still on a long trip . The muslim patient that you had might be doing the additional (not obligatory) fasting after Id Mubarak. It's for a very noble cause since the purpose is to further strengthen the faith and to be a much better person (post Ramadhan) not just for themselves but also for other people they interact too.

Tbh, I'd like to do it too after my trip is done.

Just out of curiosity, would you happen to be fasting right now? The muslim patient we had a few weeks ago said he's currently fasting.

Ah, it's only now that I saw your reply to our Gundam talk. I see.. you really know a lot of info on gundam series.
