Currently working on the resizing, uploading pics. As well as storytelling on yesterday's convention. My cos friends are also waiting for this report (they're online on another website right now @_@). Will be finished in approximately 2 hrs! I will finish this report tonight dammit! XD
Hi. Just got back from Animax Festival (anime convention). Had a great time and a good number of pics. Sorry, would have to be biased, going to put my cos friends as the first three - I want them to get a little more viewing. ^-^
Report will be up tomorrow at AS cosplay thread. ",)
As promised I got the mobile suit cosplay pic for you.
Gundam characters themselves (the people) are hard to find. But the robots are easier, as there seems to be some guys who like to cosplay mecha anime like Gundam and Zoids. I'll try to find some good mobile suit pics then. ",)
Nah, I just want you to take the pictures of the cosplays that look good and a feast for the eyes. Also, if there's good Gundam cosplays (like Sazabi cosplay from last time) I'd like to see it , Oh, and some Gundam characters too if you can recognize them (too many to be mentioned XD).
Hi. Today I have obtained a list of cosplay conventions for Dec 2012 in my country (or rather it was passed to me by a good friend). Will try to attend Toycon and Ozine Fest. Reports will be posted on AS cos thread.
Is there a particular character from an anime you want me to look out for and take pictures of? Only one please, so I can remember better.
There's plenty of anime hobby shops here. Unfortunately, those shops within my reach only sell bootleg / fake figurines. I have 9 anime figurines total, 7 ordered from japanese online stores and 2 locally bought (both imitations). Sometimes I don't mind imitations, since I actually have 2 of them.
But for a beautiful collector's item like Ultimate Madoka figurine.. want to be absolutely sure that I'm getting an original one, so I ordered from HLJ.
Is there no local Hobby Shops which sell or import those figurines so that you don't have to go through Customs? There's a lot of Hobby Store which sell figurines here in Indonesia. I assume it's the same in your country (It's Philippines, right?).
Hi. Just a little update on the cosplay reports. ",)
Good news is there's still a bunch of anime conventions scheduled for November. One of my friends messaged me about a week ago, saying she's ready to go to another one. Unfortunately, November is also the time that the Madoka figurine that I ordered from Hobbylink Japan will arrive, and I have to to pay a hefty amount of customs fees.. (Bureau of Customs is EVIL!! >_<), so I might not be able to attend any for this month due to monetary reasons. If I would attend one for November, then it will be the small event by Oh No! Manga on November 25.
Anyway, there's a rather large convention being scheduled on December 9 - I don't know much of the details yet, but if most of my friends will attend, then I will attend it too - report will be made and posted on AS cosplay thread.
