Yeah. There's a relatively large cosplay community here. I think cosplaying is helped by the fact that there are stores in conventions that actually sell ready to wear costumes rather cheap. 1400 pesos each, that's approximately 28 USD. Though the more "professional" cosplayers prefer to have their costumes custom made by a tailor, and they spend upwards to 3500 pesos per costume - at least 3 of the people I know do that.
Next convention is Ozine Fest on Dec. 28-29. Will notify you when report the is done. ",)
I checked out your last two con reports. I checked out one the other night, but I didn't want to comment until I looked at the other con report. Your country seems to have a lot of people that like to cosplay!
Currently working on the resizing, uploading pics. As well as storytelling on yesterday's convention. My cos friends are also waiting for this report (they're online on another website right now @_@). Will be finished in approximately 2 hrs! I will finish this report tonight dammit! XD
Hi. Just got back from Animax Carnival (anime convention). Had a great time and a good number of pics. Sorry, would have to be biased, going to put my cos friends as the first three - I want them to get a little more viewing. ^-^
Report will be up tomorrow at AS cosplay thread. ",)
You're welcome, and thanks for the appreciation. Well, if you provide me with a pic (a link would do) on what the character exactly looks like. I might spot said character, not matter how slim the chance maybe. There's always a handful of people at conventions here who like to cosplay non mainstream stuff.
I look forward to your con reports. I like them and I appreciate you notifying me of them. You don't have to look out for any specific characters being cosplayed. If I chose, one, what are the chances you'll come across someone cosplaying them, anyways? I'd probably choose someone who isn't cosplayed often, is all I'm saying; not a super popular character like Hatsune Miku or Suzumiya Haruhi, ya know?
