I don't do that for every episode. I've already read the manga so I only watch key scenes I'm dying to see animated.
Waiting for the HD version is definitely worth it. The nico stream quality looks like ass, it's so bad you can't even make out what's going in action heavy episode. The animation is also improved in the HD version sometimes. That was the case for episode 6 which had brand new animation during Illyarcher's fight.
So unless you really can't wait and are planning to watch both versions, I say you're better off sticking to the HD broadcast.
While I'm at it, I suggest you read the manga after the anime ends. It looks like you're enjoying the series so you're definitely going to love the second season of the manga. Everybody agrees it's a huge improvement over the first season. It's better in every single aspect. And it has tons of yuri!
I notice that you seem to be watching the earlier Prisma Illya episodes. Have you compared them to the ones that come out later? If so, do you feel that there is a significant visual quality difference?
I ask, because I know we both waited for the more HD episode for RDG, so if you're going early with Prisma Illya, maybe I should too.
Yeah, I saw your posts. This is annoying me as well. Not all of these students can be that carefree... You'd think having their classmates killed would have been enough of a wake up call, but nope. What will it take for them to realize they're not mere highschoolers anymore? They gave up on a normal high school the moment they went along with Shoko's proposal to become an independent country and oppose Dorssia. The time to play is over.
The students proved how dumb they are once again. Satomi had a solid plan to provide them with more comfort in the long term but they voted for the girl whose only idea was to have a school festival... that's cool, what happens afterwards? I hope this decision will bite them in the ass, hard.
I'm very glad we agree on this. I got into a big debate over it with a few other people on the thread, so I'm replying to you about it here since I don't want to re-spark that, lol.
Honestly, I'm tired of how the students of Valvrave act like governing a country is the same as being on an endless Spring Break. It was amusing for a bit, but now it's just insulting to my intelligence. Like yourself, I hope it backfires on them.
