I didn't expect anything spectacular in terms of a two-way battle from Ichigo's encounter with Aizen this time around. I don't even know why the Kubo suddenly decided to paint Ichigo as the captains 'last hope' to defeat him. That was random, since he isn't even all that strong yet. His hollowfied monster form would be an interesting match for Aizen, but it's irrelevant right now.
So yeah, I was entertained by the simple pleasure of watching Aizen own Ichigo. I half exepect him to say "little do you know, only Chad can beat me". These last few chapters with Aizen have been cool, though it does make the Espada fights all the more pointless and a waste of time. Meh.
