I don't usually go for vampire novels; I'm more of a sci-fi or magic fantasy person . But I'm pretty sure that Twilight is a bad vampire novel XD (I think that even Vampire Knight is better than Twilight....).

Edit: I actually read the first two books entirely. And it's as bad as the summary suggests. Although I'll admit Meyers is very readable (i.e , easy) and the story does have some interesting points near the start.

As the vampire genre goes, I far prefer Anita Blake. Okay, it's frequently pornographic, but Blake is one tough cookie. Read any vampire series better than Twilight to recommend?

I know. I would never kill myself because the guy I like went away. I hate it every time she goes into her 'Edward is God' rants too. After 1038412312414+ times, I think the readers get that Edward is perfect.

In short, even I could write a better book than SMeyers xD.

She's better than Bella from Twilight though! (Gawd, I hate those books.)

Word! I could have lived with her emo-ness, but the suicide attempts really grated on my nerves.

The over-positive girl scares me, but somehow I think she would be hot with Zetsubo sensei :s.

Zetsubou Sensei is THE critic of society! I'M IN DESPAIR~~~
He over exaggerates everything, but sadly, all of the issues his fussing over are true. In a way, it's also depressing, but still funny. I like how the mangka can make such serious topics into such a funny show. The over positive girl STILL scares me though...

Oh, the dark under-tones are terrific. I also love how there's at least some truth to every lament of his. He's an eloquent critic of society, for sure.

I actually accidentally discovered it on crunchyroll. I'm guessing you like dark humor too XDD.
