Anyhow, I'm glad people still talk about that series though it'd be a long time before I can rewatch something since I have too many anime to catch up (haven't even finished Aldnoah Zero) But you never know; there's a lot of time til next May. I should definitely be there to poke at the later episodes. =p
Glasslip is such a one step forwards, one step backwards thing.
Spoiler for 9:
I mean I want to praise them for taking Sachi and Touko seriously and not just as a tease, but at the same time this kind of stuff needs build up, especially of character dynamics. Instead, we got a Aiko situation. I mean despite the Aiko jokes, True Tears also dropped hints about Aiko since the beginning. But it still came off as just random, even though it's definitely possible from the plot. PA hasn't learned anything.
Though the picking of episode 10 to push Sachi-- I'm not sure of PA Works was planning to make their version of Madoka. (With what Puella Magi Touko Magica? But then it fits since she did make a wish.)
I would have a laugh if Sachi just turned into a villain for some reason. This would be a humorous heel turn somewhere along the ranks of Chiyuuuuuu. (I am about to finish Accel World.)
But given their tendency to do mecha pilots with skintight suits and then having it go beyond that (say, Natsuki from Mai Hime), plus the existence of Kuroyukihime and her umm rather endowed behind too, I think they might just have a chance.
Also, I totally thought that you would link a yuri implied scene.
After seeing what happened in Madoka movie 3, it's time for Archon's Bad Fanfic time! I plan to attach it to somewhere, probably a blog entry or something as a prelude to my review. Now unfortunately, said topic would have too many references and be severely off-topic so I'm just going to entertain the few people who give a damn about my bizarre rantings:
Homucifer, in her frustration for being unable to find true love will consult The Official Anime Council of the Blueballed, aka those that have been denied proper on screen romantic happiness, because the show hates them and most of them will have to tell Homura that her methods aren't really going to work.
However, since Homura is evil now; she will have to insult everyone that comes in the door.
The entire cast of Shakugan no Shana
Now, some of them actually had resolutions but due to Homura fucking up the universe, each character will have reverted to their most miserable, drama heavy state. And there you will learn that in fact Kyubey is behind all of this. Well, except for Oreimo's ending, because only humans could create things so evil.
