Need help w/ Manga title

I forget what the manga it was called but it was about a boy who used to be a princess back in past life, where mages/magic/demons were real. The boy had dreams of him using magic and also murmurs magical spells while he is asleep. In one part of the manga the boy is ambushed by other boys in the bathroom and he uses magic to dispel/temporarily blind them. The girl or one girl he currently has a crush on is a knight that protected him. Also basically the whole school is like a reincarnation of the past time just with different people and roles. The boy and girl are also childhood friends.

got 2 volumes and skimmed right some stuff

then suddenly it got dark

what i wanna know is this

Hello, thanks for stopping by. So I'm looking to collect more manga but am actually having some real difficulties. I was hoping someone could help.

I'm interested in manga with elements such as horror, mystery, suspense, gore, psychological thriller, not necessarily just a bad guy running around killing people but with a reason or something to discover as to why it's happening, who did it? I also like ghosts, oni/demon, spirits, anything super natural that doesn't lean on sci fi.

Also, I'm interested in BL/Yaoi (not explicit H stuff lol.)

However, I'm very cautious when approaching a new series because I much prefer not to have instances of rape, attempted sexual assault, molestation, sex scenes, even slight of hand mentions that a character experienced something similar in the material. I would like to have my reading experiences trigger-free. I'm a survivor of related situations, you see.

If anyone might know of series with the things I enjoy, minus what's in my case traumatic, I'd much appreciate any suggestions.

Some manga I already enjoy:

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (my absolute favorite!)
Uzumaki
Gyo
Death Note
xxxHolic (isn't horror but has ghosts and demons)

(...just because I mentioned I like demons I feel I should add, I've already watched/read InuYasha as a child (and didn't like it). I'm throwing that out there now before someone tries.)

Unusual main character-Any Suggestions

Im looking for a manga with a main character that is kind of dark or emotionless. I want the main character to be pretty amazing guy ( intellectual and good at everything etc ) but has darker side to him ( not like a yandere guy or anything where he goes killing people though, possibly something that just makes him the person he is. e.g. deaths of everyone he comes in to contact with etc etc :o )

Id like it to be centered around school ( he would have to actually go to school too )

Id like if he could probably change over time little by little ( whatever reason for changing is good. e.g. Girl changes him or a weird power changes him or he changes himself etc )

Im not sure if this is detailed enough and i have none i could reccomend it be like sorry but thanks in advance ;D

The September issue of Dragon Magazine, on sale July 20, will formerly announce that Scrapped Princess author Sakaki Ichirou's Hitsugime no Chaika (Coffin Princess Chaika) light novel series is set to be adapted into anime. The fantasy follows a hikikomori ex mercenary, who, went sent out of the house to find a job, successively meets a silver-haired girl carrying a coffin, is attacked by a mutant unicorn and thrust into an adventure of a lifetime..

The 2010 series, illustrated by Ookuma Nekosuke, has already been adapted into a manga by Sakayama Shinta.

My girlfriend took the picture while walking through midtown, when I suddenly realized the street was full of 1970's cars, with the Taxis having discount price of $.35/mile and 0.05 every 1/4 miles in NYC :twitch:

I was like what the heck, and then I saw the Anchorman himself standing at the end of the street.

They asked us to move to various side of streets so people (like my GF) wouldn't be caught in the film holding up a smartphone/IPADS/Android Pads etc in a 1970's film. No Flash Photography of course.

Somewhere in the studio an exec must cry because one of the shoot angle would certainly capture the local Best Buy with a HUGE IPHONE 5 commercial, not to mention the cost for the police to shut down midtown road (Will Smith certainly earned the rage of a ton of NYers when he came in town to film I am legend):heh:

Need help for choosing a new monitor that supports 24/48hz

Hello, I need help with choosing a new monitor which I mostly play games, watch and browse with. I've done some research for it and I just couldn't find any that fulfills my requirements. Maybe I'm not searching hard enough but there are so many variants in today's monitors and the fact that most of them are similar just makes it hard for me to choose.

Basically, here are my requirements:
- Budget $400
- My current GPU: Radeon HD7950
- Supports 24/48hz (i.e multiple of 24) <----- This is important
- Mainly for gaming (fast response time etc), watching and browsing (good color contrast etc)
- 24 inch or 48 inch

FYI, I was using BenQ G2420HD for two years and due to unfortunate accident it broke completely with no chance of getting a replacement as my warranty have just ended. Also, it was 60Hz only monitor so you've imagined I had a lot of juddering even when using madVR's smooth motion or SVP.

So as a result, I would like to take this chance to get a monitor that supports multiple of 24hz. Better yet, I would love to get 120hz monitor but it's just too expansive for me to buy one.

So, I'm not sure whether any of you are familiar with AWOLnow or TinierMe, so here a few screen caps C:

I can't even begin to explain how much I miss the first site pictured ;_; So, granted, I very much enjoyed AWOLnow while it was still around. Both games were shut down though both were really great. The thing I liked most about AWOLnow was the community as well as the colorful world, the customization and so forth. I've been trying literally for months now to find some thing close to this....

At the moment I'm playing IMVU and Spirit Tales. I enjoy Spirit Tales because of the cutesy/ anime atmosphere though I do wish it were more chat-based. IMVU is great as well though the graphic style isn't /that/ ideal as I prefer something somewhat more simple. And a lot of the people on there are assholes though that's inevitable for any site.

I would appreciate it tremendously if you all could help be find a chat that suits my fancy! In favor of this I can help any who may need help in finding a game that fits their own 'fancies'. C:

Death flags in anime

Once in a while I've seen people throw around the term "death flag". I've never given much thought to it, though I imagine it relates to a bad choice in visual novels? Now I probably would recognize them in anime, though I figure that it'd be good to have them in one place. I'm much more familiar with them in western works, such as the guy that's gonna retire in 2 days. They never do. ;)

It'd be nice to also tier the flags, such as "not having a name" "only having a first name" "splitting up" "wandering into a dark secluded place for no reason" increases chance of dying horribly by 500%. Etc.

The one I would recognize first, was being a secondary love interest in Gundam. Never do that one; it's like auto gg.

TL;DR If you were an anime character, name everything you would avoid doing and being at all costs, assuming you don't want to die. I suppose if you were in a crappy series, that would not be true, but oh well. And of course, for the sake of discussion it'd be nice to consider why it gets used.

Valvrave the Liberator is licensed and streaming on Crunchyroll

Since Aniplex of America has licensed Valvrave the Liberator, AnimeSuki will no longer list torrents for it. In addition, this show is available with English subtitles for legal streaming on Crunchyroll.

As a result, the following posts are no longer allowed:

Asking where you can find Valvrave the Liberator downloads.
Providing links to Valvrave the Liberator downloads or non-legal streams.
Discussing Valvrave the Liberator fansub groups (past or present).
Asking for help downloading Valvrave the Liberator.
Asking for playback help for Valvrave the Liberator episodes.

These rules applies to fansubs (in English or any other language) and raws alike.

Please specify episode and timeframe of the GIF
We're not mind readers. We do not know what you want, so give us something specific to work with. Be detailed about the description and make sure you keep the timeframe something like 2-3 seconds long.
Example:
I want a GIF from Episode 1... Timeframe of: 7:02-7-04.
Don't ask what software was used to create these GIF's.

Very good or great visual novels?

Okay, so I recently got into VNs with Fate/Stay Night(Loved btw). When I get into a new medium, I tend to want to see if there is more like it/just as good/ almost as good, or still very good stuff in the medium.

I recently dropped G-senjou no Maou with Tsubaki's route. Cliche and boring when things got serious. I'll come back in a month or two to it to play just Usami or Shiratori's routes.

So, what I've played already/currently playing/ what I plan to play.

Currently playing:
Tsukihime, on Ciel's route atm.

Plan to Play:
Umineko Episode 1-4 PS3 Re-make(Reading the manga atm, on Episode 3 currently. Also love.).
Kara no Shoujo
Muv-Luv
Chaos; Head- Loved the first half of the anime. rest of it sucked hard, but I heard the VN shits on the anime)
Cross Channel
That Aozaki Sisters Prequel....forget the name......
Steins; Gate.....maybe. I loved the anime so I'm currently happy of how I see S; G.
Clannad......sometime just to play the other routes. Mainly Kyou's.

It doesn't matter what genre the VN you guys recommend is, since I love all genres equally. I don't really have a preference.
