OMG, if spawn hadn't already started us on such a great The Night Before, I'd vote that we get yuiseppe to draw us a 1-2 page comic for The Night Before! Mixed media fanfic, whee!!!

Well, we were wondering how to allot Day 6 ...

*snort* a 1-2 page comic from me would translate, in prose, to something like "There was a knock on the door. Lillet turned to r- [end of 2nd page]"

V. v. bad idea if you actually want a conclusion to the story XD XD

Perhaps you could do "Missing moments"?

Or just draw whatever portions of what's written that calls you to do so, as well as a cover.

Oh definitely. I just need a better sense of the actual story before I can do an appropriate cover.

And gags. There could well be gag comics

I don't think anyone has a good sense of where this is going yet, either. Best if I say it, I think. I'm writing the beginning, and I haven't a clue.

I think having things get wiped out and everything reset (except for Lillet's memories and what grimoires (and clothes???) she currently has) makes it really fun , since we could write ANYTHING and it all gets undone by Day 5. But yet the trauma it had on Lillet wouldn't have changed!

In other words, we are making this to make Lillet suffer.

Hey, we could also have Lillet kick major Grimlet-ass, but fail to break the Philosopher's Stone, resulting in her getting sent back to go through all that again!

......er, the above was supposed to be an good ending , but after typing it out I realized that it could come across as tragic....

At least she wouldn't remember it. And we know it all works out in the end, so there's that, at least!

(You know, here's another point...there's nothing to say that Lillet's victory has to be total. Since in the end this set of loops is going to be undone, then the final loop could have partial victories, like Grimlet being destroyed by Lujei's magic but Opalneria being killed using it, something like that. But that's speculation for well in the future. )

Heck, we could give her a better victory in the second-to-last loop than the last one. And she sort of muffs it a little in the next one trying to go faster or something like that.

I think it could be interesting/messy XD, if we're all thinking of different "rules" of magic in the Loops! It'll be interesting to keep up with the person before .

Can we make a motion for this "Naked Loop" thing? It sounds very, very interesting.

Clearly the Naked Loop is the humorous side-story, if we never actually do it in the challenge.
