Spawn really ought to be doing his own advertising , but for those who haven't been following it, I thought I'd point out that he's got the latest chapter of Tempus Materia posted at fanfiction dot net!

(With any kind of luck, I'll even get a review up in a couple of days! )

I kept thinking "What do I post? I don't want to post teasers... I've been building this as something that's supposed to speak for itself, after all..."

And other stuff like that.

Anyway. Investigator is over. Bystander is well-begun! I'd love to know any and all thoughts on the piece (even those that were posted a long time ago). So feel free to discuss here and/or review at fanfiction.net!

By the end of Investigator, I was going ' :@ '. But I guess I'll just have to wait and see who or what that mysterious girl is.

And yes, the Magistrate was beyond annoying. If he didn't want Lillet to pry, he should just have set up something to mislead her with. In fact that's what I thought he was doing when he let Lillet see his prisoners

Today's planned chapter release of Tempus Materia is predicated on deathcurse getting me her edits before a really late hour tonight. ^_^

Crapzoid @_@, I'm sorry--I've been away the whole weekend! *rushes off to beta properly*

Look at it this way: the way ff-dot-net's login area has been crashing every afternoon for the past three days and not coming back until the next morning (and yes, it's already down today), you won't be able to post it anyway until tomorrow even if she does finish betaing in a reasonable time...

...which is probably something I should have mentioned after she finished!

Well, I just finished now before I had read it , so it all works anyway!

Finally updated Tempus Materia for Bystander Day 2. Not going to bother going over reasons why.

Will post next chapter next Monday, or earlier if possible.

Don't worry; we'll all blame deathcurse. Everybody knows it's all the beta-reader's fault!

...Wait, I don't use a beta-reader for my fics. Possibly I need to adjust my arguments...

It's probably my fault, yes ..... (But I did review that chapter on time! It's...the following chapters that I'm late for .....)

For the record, Fanfiction.net was unhelpful.

It's more fun to blame deathcurse, though. Fanfiction.net is pretty much always unhelpful. Not quite "the sun will rise in the east" but close to it!

...Hence its presence on the record?

For more lulz, another part of the problem is that my other beta (i.e. not deathcurse) sent me the wrong chapter that week. She sent me the one that deathcurse now owes me. It took a while to get the right one, but that does mean that the other beta was ahead and behind at the same time.

deathcurse, please give me edits ASAP >_<

I've written the next arc's Night Before. So when I post the finale of Bystander, I'll have a preview ready, even though I won't post any of the next arc until it's fully drafted.

I thought that the Nights Before were being passed among the five of us? That is you wrote First Night Before, dc writes Second, I write Third, Sora Fourth, Laith Fifth, and back to you for Sixth?

Edit: Yeah, see the discussion at the end of Page 2 of the Fanfic Challenge thread...Laith suggested it and you and dc backed it up...
