Seitenkan's Hit List:

It's about time we came up with a way to organize all of those side projects. For now this post will be a list of things we've come up with in the past, and I'll make additions if you guys catch something I've missed.

I think Nanoha is on Level 10 priority right now. Gotta strike hard and fast.

Is there anything below Level 10?

An order to do something of dubious morality with an unpredictable outcome? Sweet.

Firstly, we need artists to establish the basic appearance of the Seitenkan'd main characters.

That is, after all, where this whole thing began.

We've had people working on Shana-kun for a while (off and on). Higurashi and Nanoha on the other hand...well somethings just make them weird for such projects.

Shana-kun has the advantage of having the same art style as Haruhi and thus gives us a way to expand artistically with genderbending. I don't know how much the story would shift with the reverse gender rolls outside the mother.

Higurashi because of the "punishment games" and perhaps a few other things about one girl and four boys in a club that basically plays games after school and end up with BAD END (cleaver style) a lot.

Nanoha...is basically turns a lot of lolis into shota and reversing a heavily shipped yuri pair to a yaoi pair. Just add a lot of "befriending".

Shana-kun: The only thing I think we've defined for sure is how he looks. And that he's got Blue Flames of Purification. And Shining Finger.

Higurashi: The first thing we need to do here is come up with a design for Keiko. The only thing I've seen done is give K1 boobs, and that's NG.

Nanoha: Screw befriending. We're bringing it back to what it was originally called. Kicking lots of ass.

The show becomes a full blown shounen series once you change all the lolis into shotas. It would be readily apparent if not for the moe art style.

And I'd really like to take the shipping out of it if Kaisos didn't mind the gender favoritism so much.

Wasn't the point of this to point out gender differences and how we view the concepts of gender?

Keeping them just as gay proves this point, regardless of how awkward it may be.

Besides, I don't think it's too awkward. Love is love, man. Embrace zen and all that bullshit.

Well frankly my motivation for Seitenkan Nanoha was it's badassery potential. For the most part I've been planning the characters based off of how I'd like them to perform in a fighting game.

I also just realized that the evil backup plot in StrikerS becomes REALLY DAMN COMPLICATED if we use the no exceptions rule. But this is given that we get that far.

Without keeping the character interactions, I image Nanoha become just another shounen, and nothing special at all. One of hundreds.

And that's another thing I'd like to improve upon. Not so much for the first two seasons, which were fine. For those all that needs to be done is the adaptation from part magical girl and part shounen to mainly shounen. But the third season suffers from a severe imbalance in character development, which is something we can improve upon. That's what I's like to think anyway.

I want to have yaoi subtext. Genderbent Nanoha must have yaoi subtext.

@Ithekro: Have you been reading Bob and George? Because there actually isn't anything below level 10.

@Kaisos and beanbrew: Gender bias and all the zen bullshit yes, but don't blame me when the Legion comes in hellbent on roasting your asses on a stick.

@beanbag: Ah, good ol' Bob and George. Also, you should ask "have you read", not "are you reading", as it was finished the last time I checked.

Let them come! Uh...Genders for the Gender God? And I just want hot shota yaoi subtext.

It'll prove that OTP goes only as far as the strength of the fanboy hormone drive behind them.

In line with their new shounen fighting game roots, how about we create some character stats for Nano-kun and Fate-Kun.

And someone to raid the imageboards. There has to be some artist fangirl with this same idea...

@otai: I know too well. I used to be one of them.

I don't have much of an idea in regard to stats, other than that I need them to be more balanced, at least in season 1. Fate's got like no ranged moves, and Nano's absolutely dismal in CQC. And the problem is the only new abilities I've been able to think up continue to push them in the direction of specialization.

Regarding image hunting, I looked around Danbooru a bit today to refresh my memory on the Numbers. The only swap I found for any of them were two pics of a bishie looking Uno smoking a cigarette.

...Female Yuuno will be nice to see, though.

I expected that answer to the Level 10 question...I just wanted to be sure were were on the same page on the meaning of "Level 10".

Damn Light-bots.

Hey now... Protoman is awesome.

He's the only sane one, thus excluded from the "damn Light-bots" catagory.

No we aren't genderbending Megaman/Bob and George...8 and 16 bit sprite genderbending is somewhat pointless.
