Irie was there at least partially to present a front to the outside world so the real leader of the operation could move freely and be shielded from investigation, right? GB Irie, as a woman doctor in the 70's, would make an admirable distraction.
Depends...Does Irie (Iria?) become a hot doctor, or will she be left sort of average/below average? Putting the shota-con/cute fetish doctor in the Takano "Hellooo Nurse!" with glasses role just doesn't quite sound right.
Takano has some sort of degree if I remember correctly.
Akasaka's situation? with the death of his pregnate wife who still manges to give birth to his daughter in most arcs? While a kick ass female cop sounds reallly cool (at least as cool as Akasaka going Bruce Lee on people), how do you fix the rest of the story and have it make sense?
Then there is Oishi. A pushy older female cop close to retirement...in 1983 Japan? One that dealt with the aftermath smuggling problems of post-war Japan? I mean some of these details get downright difficult to GB within the known gender rolls of Japan...or even the United State from the 1950s-early 1980s.
Akasaka: A kick-ass policewoman who is planning to have children with her beloved husband. They perform the necessary act well before she has to leave for Hinamizawa, but they are not yet certain that they've conceived together -- and her husband takes ill just before she leaves for Hinamizawa and has to go to the hospital. While she's away, her husband gets up in the middle of the night for some air and ... takes a tumble down the stairwell, breaking his neck. Akasaka finds herself pregnant upon returning home and has to take a leave of absence, and is thereafter a single mother -- except in the latter timeloops, where she took Rika's advice and managed to return home in time and save her husband.
difficult to do, career-wise. But as far as GB'ing Oishi, I figure this hardened mama-san figure; looks soft and plump at first glance, but then you discover that there's plenty of muscle underneath the fat, and she's tough as nails and completely shameless. Fun, fun, fun ... ^^
Well, the Akasaka solution results in their son being about nine months younger than their counterparts' daughter, but it's really the only way for it to work...
What are we going to do with Teppei and Rina?
Switch their personalities?
Not necessarily. Rina could be a -- excusez le mot -- man-slut, a giggolo type, with Teppei serving as his madam. Lonely women are as likely to fall for badgering games as lonely men, I imagine. And men have no monopoly on being child-abusing, boozing monsters, I'm sad to say. In some ways, GB Teppei might be even more terrible than standard Teppei, because of the cultural bias that women are supposed to be gentler and more caring of children than men.
Just switch Teppei (who?) and the aunt's bodies and it should work. Madams are not always hot are they?
Now what about Rika and Hanyuu?
(Ungenderbent) Teppei == the uncle. So yeah, that's how it'd work.
Also, Rika == a shouta, and Hanyuu == super-shouta (except for his moments of GAR).
urrrrgh hey guys. I'm on Page 477/600 of the Haruhi Seitenkan thread... trying to lurk back to the present sucks
Did I miss anything the time I was gone? haha.
477/599, you mean. It's not quite at 600 yet.
It's pretty close to 600, however.
NOW it's at 600 pages.
That it is.
I want to see someone go through ALL the pages. That should be quite fun to see someone trying to catch up with that method.
At least we aren't running at 10 pages a day right now...otherwise the catchup groups would never truely catch up.
Spam like crazy, got it.[/sarc]
At least it isn't as bad as the Outer Cadians.
(I think we succeeded at driving them off at Normandy. Take that, Outer Cadians!)
What topic are we on about now anyway?
[advertising]Perhaps we should start a topic about acquiring some animation talent?[/advertising]
I don't know anyone who can animate.
