@C.A. It's a good thing Yuu's in an all boys school then, or he'd become a typical harem lead.
They're in an all-girls school? I never noticed.
50 bucks for every male student studying in that school you can spot. If it wasn't an all girls school, I'd say Kyoani finally succumbed to the Yasuna disease.
Maybe we could throw some Takasu into genderbended Mio.
Bear with me here; if you take away his face and cleaning obssession, he has equal parts of a shy romantic to Minorin and of a stable anchor to a wacko Taiga. And sometimes, he's just GAR. But yeah, it's still hard to see past his face.
Methinks Kai was blinded by all the girls... I noticed a distinct lack of males early on
Huh. Ryuuji. Never thought of that.
It's just that Ryuuji is characterized by being a) overly kind and caring and b) completely insane. It's not the sort of character I think of when someone says "Genderbent Mio".
I mean, he certainly is shy and romantic enough to use as a base, but...
So I'm trying to rewrite the lyrics for the OP and ED. OP is really difficult.
Also, be sure to check out
"I suddenly envisioned Miley Cyrus starring in a live action Disney adaptation of K-ON! but let’s leave it at that."
. . . and now I'm truly afraid of the recent trend of American-made Live Action movies based on anime...
This reminds me why I'm not particularly enthusiatic about K-On! Reminds me too much of the tween girls and their Jonas Brothers obsession.
Better designs up.
When I first saw the discussion topic, heavy metal band came to mind.
I think the music of genderbended K-on! would be influence by that of Alice Nine and UVERworld.
^ Yay. Someone's actually on the same wavelength as me. At least as far as UVERworld anyway.
The charm is still lost.
Well what would you suggest replacing moe antics with?
That's the ultimate question. How could we make this work without making the band shota or detracting from the moe?
Hey, idea. Yui could be shota to be able to retain the old Yui's antics. If not, the comedy of the show could rely on the band's crazy chick fans sprinkled throughout the episode.
... or, y'know, we could do both
I say it's settled... You know, if we were actually going to do anything.
Judging from what we've done so far with Shana, Higurashi and Nanoha... yeah, this ain't going anywhere any time soon
Mugi would turn from a Yuri fangirl into a Yaoi fanboy.
Which is a good thing since there isn't any Yaoi fanboys in anime.
