While most of you guys have been steadily drawing more and more illustrations. I've been focusing on correctly drawing the limbs:
* Fingers
* Toes
* Torso
* Hands / Feets / Thighs / Forearms
The details ^^
---
At the moment, I notice that the detail is what we lack as a group on a whole. While there are some that have better knowledge on this that others, most of us aren't quite there yet. But i'm speaking this way cause my style of drawing I wish to accomplish this. Myself, i'm terrible at drawing the toes. I can draw the foot no problem along with the hands and fingers.
We've had this discussion before. And the question is "How do you judge the skill of one particular artist?"
For me it's simply, how many different pose can that artist draw yet stay within human proportion? If she/he can do that properly then my judgement of that artist is an "A Okay." Anyone can draw front view, flat with little dimension.
Take this for an example -

This has at least 2 dimension of perspective, one being the near right leg then the further torso.

Then you got a single dimension. Ex. -

There's actually more than one cause of the shading to make it more 3Dish, but the perspective is 1D.

You guys know what you are capable of, and I don't wanna point any fingers now. So go practice
ps: Well... that's my talk of the day. Nap time ^^
