The Shipping War!
The Shipping War!
I think we agree regarding Sheryl. I felt they oversold her and it resulted badly in people finding her static because they felt she needed no more build and just a ridiculous plot to carry the other characters along, however, she took up most of the screen time, resulting in that idea being butchered.
As for Alto, I had no problem with his series self in that respect. I felt that paying attention to the verbal or emotional side of the main male character would thus produce a boring lead. He was interesting to watch. His facial expressions made up for the two left out. It wasn't as if he was an ice sculpture. If that was the case, Michael meant absolutely nothing to him. (That is sarcasm at others, not you.)
Subtly, I noticed minor changes in Michael's characters in the movies. Was it just me or was he less of a playboy and more serious? It takes the interesting factors out of him.
Was that from one of the discredited liner notes where it was attributed to Kawamori that he killed Michael due to him being a playboy? Or from a real interview.
We have to agree to disagree on Sheryls use in the movies, but I guess you knew that this was coming. I just disagree with the way the built her characterization there, not her function in the plot.
Woah. I was only addressing the questions first...
We are not in the "shipping" yet.
And... Just to let you know it is not a post monster, rather a short description how it works. I was defending her in that post from the scientific point of view, and I did state that the third possibility I cannot defend against.
And what Ranka I would say would most likely be third degree murder, however with her not being the instigator I do not think we can hold charges against her, yeah? (Talking about episode.20.)
She also did not go berserk and kill of the people on the island. The vajura that were agitated did.
As I said, detailed answers coming after my next two exams, i.e. after October 19th. I'd have vastly preferred if you hadn't just posted the first part, contrary to our agreement. I can't give a detailed analysis without spending at least one hour one reviewing footage and formulating a decent answer. I'll get to it... when I have time.
Please take note that I am trying to honor your effort by actually taking it apart bit by bit, instead of just posting one general response.
*Looks at how Takky is in glee with how the shipping war was blasted here and there*
Tak is spending
time with Karice
In his dreams, right?
He as Sheryl, Karice as Alto.
We're left at wonder at what episode Takky is in at the moment before he can even reach episode 22 (unfortunately for him, it might be never than soon *mommy tears up*) then
I-I'm still shipping Takky as Sheryl and Ranka fans as... Ranka (Captain Obvious) a lot though! It's yuri, guys! <- wait, something is wrong... Nah, just my imagination~
Unfortunately for you, it is not proven. Yay.
Which part not proven yet? Pleasetellmeit'snotmySheryl!TakkyxRF!Rankayuri(?) ;A;
I meant the episode 22 happenings. The ones directed towards the supposed sexual interaction Sheryl Nome had with Alto Saotome. It was never proven, thus we reserve all rights to rule it invalid.
As for Rankayuri, what is yuri?
* Now Takky, Ozuma-Rii said that you would never possibly have your episode 22 with Karicchi! What would you do?
And to enlighten poor souls on the
dark side of the fandom, I present
You Ranka fans are
Natsuki, you screwed my mind, no thank you.
And raile... what makes you think after the camera changes angle to Alto's mother, Sheryl began raping Alto?
I described it that way because Alto would never be not putting up a resistance, neither be willing.
Of course she did, I forget. Every Macross F doujin with Alto and Sheryl involves raping.
Again, you Ranka fans are
