Fre Emblem: Awakening
No game, no release date make Laith lose... I don't know what to lose actually.
Well, the second set of DLC maps has begun to come out, with a good gold farming map when you got your advanced classes. A note, it is a good way to slowly level Donnel since the Risen on it only counter attack as they try to race across the map to leave with their gold. All of them have a skill that lets them pass through your units so you can't get clever and block their escape routes, as I found out the hard way.
Ouch, my Yarne just hit level 7 Barbarian and got 0 stats.
I love that they actually have disappointed lines for 0/1 stat gains.
And boastful ones for perfect/near-perfect levels.
Sad part was in the next fight, it happened to Cavalier Chrom, though the next 2 times Yarne levelled he got 4-5 stats, though Chrom on got 1-3 the last few times before I promoted him. But yeah, the different quotes for various gains are amusing. Currently on Chapter 19 in my casual mode game, and on level 9 in my Standard game. Thinking of using the previous game characters in the Outworlds a bit, especially in maps where they are the enemies for my personal amusement.
Did someone order a map where you can level contstantly and forever? Because there is now.
Also, here, my ~shipping~ chart.
Crom/Avatar (Lucina and Morgan with Galeforce? Yes please)
Donnel/Noiwe (Can you say Manakete with Aptitude?)
And I'm working on Tharja/Libre (Poor kellam I forever alone'd him)
Yeah, I did that to Kellam as well. Guess the ladies never noticed him either.
Well, beat my casual game, and have a classic normal and a classic hard game going in the other two slots. Been working on supports in my casual to unlock them in the support viewer, but my other two games are at Chapter 11 (Normal) and Chapter 5 (Hard). Every time I think I've got chapter 5 beaten, the forts spawn units in such a way that Maribelle gets killed, forcing me to restart the level. On the plus side, I have Lissa equipped with a Rescue so I can have Ricken pair up with Maribelle and bring them to the safety of the group on the first turn.
All I can say is the EXPonential Growth DLC map is a Divine Dragon sent piece of happiness for me on Hard. I swear I only get on average 1-3 stats, when in Normal I averaged 3-5. Granted, started seeing better stat growth once a unit hits the double digits.
In shipping news, hoping to mix it up a bit, with the only assured pairing in Hard being Avatar/Chrom. Normal has me trying to pair Sully with Libra, and Sumia with Virion, with the remaining women still playing the field so I can get Chrom and Olivia together on this one. Accidentally forgot I was on my Male Avatar playthrough on normal and in one fight, got to C with Sumia and Sully and saved before I realized my mistake.
Well, been running into at least one other player when I stroll into town, just need to remember to log into my Endgame file before the others so I can test my might.
Wow, got my ass handed to me in Infinite Regalia on my Endgame file. Lost Bloodlines 2 is easier, but still a challenge if you bring your less used characters, as the enemy is about 50-50 Basic and Promoted. You get Alm and the Dread Fighter even if you don't have Alvis survive the battle. Dread Fighter is a thirty level class, and I plan on putting Tiki in my party next time I try the map and have her fight herself.
Huh, while most of my second-gen characters are under developed, Yarne is almost on par with my Tactician and Lord characters. Gaius was his father too.
OK, for those of you who haven't reached the endgame and seek to avoid spoilers
I suggest NOT pre-promoting Walhart unless you just want him to learn specific skills, as it took me until he hit level 8 Knight before he went up a single stat, in Res, after taking a bit of a hit in all stats from being demoted.
Make everyone a pretty bride the DLC is out btw. Rally Heart + Rally Spectrum is beautiful ;_;
Heh, just viewed the Kellam and Maribelle C support conversation, and it had the best line ever. "There is no room for comfort in fashion!" In all my files, he is one of the least used characters, with Kjelle getting more use then he does.
OK, The Radiant Hero and The Wellspring of Truth keep kicking my ass in Normal Casual. Radiant Hero has 50 level 20 Promoted units, while Wellspring has duplicates of your units, but I believe they had some better weapons equipped then I did tat the time (Had some Bronze and Iron secondary weapons). Also, Lethality kept working against me and not for me most of the time.
Change your skills or use double seals to change to a tier 1 class, equip some master seals, enter the battle and then, IT'S MORPHING TIME and you win.
Are you suggesting I use, cheap, dirty, underhanded tactics to beat the level? Sounds good to me! Also, double seals? You mean Secondary Seals?
Yeah those. I'm confusing my terminology
I was just making sure it wasn't just because you were using a version in another language, in case it was a matter of translation, or if it was some rare item I never found.
Well, since I ran out of room for the DLC on my original SD card for my DS, the other day I got a new one and attepmted to trasfer my data over. Sadly, something went wrong with the Downloaded games and so I had to delete the programs so I could redownload them. Upside is, I now have a 24 GB SD card for many more games, downside is that unless I want to switch over to my small card and delete the other games on it to make room, I may as well just restart on the new card, which I will do since I've already beaten the game once anyways. Maybe I'll start copying down the dialogue for use in some fanfics. Who knows, maybe I'll have Chrom and friends visit the GG universe Outlands. I think Cherche and Nowi first seeing a dragon and argue about who gets to fight it first would be amusing.
