Eh? Just exactly what "it" are you SENSUALLY stroking?
He's obviously stroking his nutbladder.
I may have to take a look for that scene. Slice of life is hit and miss for me (it's not always mind filling enough to blot out the impending sense of doom from my timetable), but I LOVE creative Shaft visuals, and that scene looks like creative Shaft visuals applied to moe, which should be double awesome.
Well, I'm assuming that
was making reference to Yuno's skirt having a sensual nature in it's appearance and movement. I was just having a little fun with the ambiguity of the statement in and of itself.
I just love that boundary between innocence and sensuality. It's the balanced blending of those attributes that makes for incredibly alluring qualities. And yes,
is SHAFT artsy-fartsy, quirky, fun stuff. It's episodic, so you can take it in little chunks at a time.
That'll teach me to pay more attention to the gender field before replying...
I'll try and get to around to seeing the scene in question at some point, but I've been busy with an assignment recently.
In the meantime, I submit that Chihiro with her hands clasped together is moe:
And I don't care that you all probably saw this one when I posted it elsewhere, it's too adorable not to get included here too:
The one that sent me looking for Iriya.
It's a render in Sephi's signature gallery. She was so beautiful, I just
to know who she was.
That's actually another of my favourite pictures of Iriya. It believe it's designed to demonstrate her character design in the DS visual novel version of the story - visual novels always seem to get the best art.
Personally, I've always felt that Iriya is not only moe, but drop dead gorgeous as well.
...Is it too early to start campaigning for
underdog candidates for ISML 2010 yet?
Of course Visual Novel art is going to be better. It's less restraining to put a lot of detail into something that doesn't have to be drawn over and over again to show movement over time.
Iriya deserves a LOT more recognition than she gets (as does the anime). She truly is a "beautiful" character.
