Go watch Haruhi-chan 09.
Ya, just found out that Haruhi-chan eps 9 and 10 came out from a different source and found out what you meant. XD
@Shirogane: I almost always imagine a serious version and a CRACKish omake version of scenes we come up with.
@Kaisos: Instead of the standard cosmetic differences of clone characters, we could use the abilities that they gain in the VN. Though we'll have to figure out exactly what that means first, since I only have Yuuki's self-buff build confirmed at the moment.
@Cat Megex: It'll go into my endless backlog like everything else.
And Kyon saying "naru" instead of "nare" was probably intentional, though I have no idea why.
... all I gotta say is that at least one of the Nagatos had better have a fighting style that somehow incorporates books... or be reading one the entire time, whichever is funnier. And we should probably start up a different discussion for this, seeing as we haven't exactly talked all that much about Nano-kun's involvement
Fate talk brings up her most commonly remarked feature on 4chan...her "perfect ass". I don't know how of if we even want to try to translate that or just leave it intact on Fate-kun.
No reason why Fate-kun can't have AAA grade ass too. Though it's not likely going to be showcased if it's given that his barrier jacket is comprised of normal male clothes.
"Naru" to avoid copyright infringement? That's the only thing I can think of.
Kyon's finishing move should be what I call; "Unspeakable Word of Power: Suki~da Armageddon". The animation shows Haruhi's shocked face cracking the background; which then collapses on the entire arena. In addition, his insta-kill combo adds "I am John Smith".
Hikari ni naru: (I'm) Becoming the light.
Hikari ni nare: (You'll) Become the light.
Since Kyon is saying that he himself is becoming the light, its Hikari ni Naru.
Its weird seeing a bunch of people discuss this when no one has watched Gaogaigar themselves lol
Gaogaigar was a 1997 show and GGGFINAL was 1999, it would have just went quietly down anime history if SRW Alpha 2 and 3 didn't include the series in 2003 and 2005. Videos appeared all over the internet after SRW increased its popularity several fold, then it released new Chokogin, got licensed and stuff.
We really need more SRW experts around this place.
Anyone know Zeta Gundam at all around here? Anyone?
... Dead project is dead...
I was actually kinda looking forward to how this one would turn out, too...
I need more experts on the material with an open mind. It's hard to find people that fit both.
Which material, Nanoha or whatever you're using to base the GB version on?
The first series and A's of course. Once we get to StrikerS... that's when I start taking some creative liberties.
Honestly, A's is really the only one where there won't be that many problems. The original is a little
mahou shoujo to bend without taking liberties.
Well of course they're be liberties there. I guess I just did the adjusting in my head already.
DJ Rockman - I know Zeta Gundam. It was a pretty cool show. If you decide to gender-bend it, the funny thing is that you wouldn't need to rename Camile at all - in fact, now Camile's name seems a lot better.
Plus a female Char Aznable... that could be really cool!
Oya oya, welcome to the group.
And I ain't gonna touch classic Tomino. Was just thinking of using it more as a basis for Nanoha StrikerS than the original show did.
So... old school Gundam is
on our list of "Things not to bend?"
